#A Quality Product! (2008-12-01) I love this thing! Now I need to find different recipes to keep it interesting. Anyone know of good ones from food I can find in a regular American grocery store?
#Great unit and it holds a ton of food! (2008-11-28) I got irritated at the lack of healthy food options in my office cafeteria so I bought a Mr Bento and it paid for itself in less than 3 weeks. I found a community of Mr Bento users on a popular social networking photo site, and it gave me tons and tons of ideas on what to take for lunch. Pitas w/ hummus, veggies, yogurt and granola, pasta and beans, rice and grilled red peppers. . . And if you fill all of these containers, it s actually quite a bit of food. Maybe more than you would normally eat, so be careful with potentially o...
#Bento Jar (2008-11-28) Works like a charm. Nothing breaks a dull day like a four course lunch. Hardest part has been getting creative enough to fill the jar. Works very well, the thinner lids warped a bit with heat from hot food, but still snap on pretty tight. Insulated food jar, and soup cup work for at least six hours. Wouldn t trade this thing in for a bag for anything.
#Does its job, but... (2008-11-23) Pros:1. The advertising is 100% true - this lunchbox keeps food warm for a long timeCons:1. Tiny containers - I can t imagine anyone with a normal appetite feeling satisfied after eating the minuscule amount of food this product holds. 2. Hand wash only - This especially drives me nuts when I eat messy foods that are hard to clean (esp. oatmeal!)3. Retains smell - This is my number one complaint. If you put strong smelling food into any of the containers, they will smell for a long time thereafter! It is VERY HARD to get rid of the odor, even ...
#Perfect for Getting all your food groups (2008-11-20) I bought this for my girlfriend in honor of her first day of grad school. She has used it for the last three months and absolutely loves it. It s compact and is very creatively organized. Her only complaint is the top riming is coming apart a little bit, but it is still perfectly functional and still snaps back in. We still highly recommend this piece of fine school-ware!

Zojirushi s Classic Bento Stainless Lunch Jar in Ultra Black provides an excellent way to safely and conveniently pack lunch where a microwave or a refrigerator may not be available. You will also appreciate the greenness of packing a lunch in our jars, instead of using a paper bag or disposable container.

#Great product - just a couple flaws (2008-10-24) Alright, first off, I m a month into this thing and I m still liking it enough to use it so there s that said. Now here s what s WRONG with it:1. The lid is NOT insulated as one might expect. This means that your top container of food gets colder (or warmer) much, much faster than the rest2. No clip, clamp, slot or other place to keep your spork should you decide to forgo the canvas case. 3. The clips that hold the lid on feel flimsy, though as stated in other reviews, they have yet to break so I suppose I might be picky here. Wha...
#Love it everyday! (2008-09-22) Purchased for my children 6 and 8. After reading reviews, I went with the Classic lunch jar with dark plastic containers so they food containers would not show stains from food,e. g. , spaghetti sauce. The jars sizes are perfect for young or adults and do help with portion control. All components are easy to clean and durable. The small soup jar needs to be closed tightly which can be hard for little ones to open. I was concerned about the price but feel like this is a great value and am quite happy with the purchase.
#Lunch Box (2008-09-03) I had the earlier Zojirushi Classic Stainless Lunch Jar, which had a much larger main contain - 20 oz i believe, where as this one is probably only a 16 oz. i ve used this for about 2-3 weeks now and i ve absolutely enjoy having the bag, spork, and the dark containers. the best thing about this bag is that it s completely compatible with my original classic. spork is like everyone else, abrasive, and not meant to be used as a soup spoon (though could if tried). Nonetheless, i still highly recommend this item
#Functional and fun (2008-08-18) The Bento is a great way to pack a lunch every day. The separate compartments are roomy. The bottom two have insulated tops and keep food warm (or cold) as needed. Pack the whole thing the night before, store in fridge, and the food stays cold all through the day. If you re trying to get away from sandwiches and processed foods, this is a great way to go! Leftovers, veggies, oatmeal, etc. work great--it s actually fun to try and be creative with the possibilities. There s room in the top of the bag for larger items that won t fit in the containers,...
#Zojirushi Classic Bento Vacuum Lunch Jar Gets the Job Done (2008-08-12) I liked the quality of the most of this product except the plastic containers. I would have like a stronger material for the inner containers, maybe stainless steel, or stronger, nonreactive plastic container. Warning: Do NOT use the spork that comes with this product, or any other sharp, or abrasive object with the plastic inner containers! The plastic inner containers will scratch off and you will eat plastic in your food! (The plastic shavings don t disappear, duh!) This product is made in Thailand FYI.

The New SV-GEE50 Zojirushi Tuff Slim replaces the SV-FA50 Tuff Slim that is currently in Zojirushi s line up. It is over 10 % lighter and more compact than the SV-FA50. This item is elegant, light and compact in design. It is unbreakable with all stainless steel construction with excellent heat retention. It has a wide mouth and an easy to clean nonstick interior.

#sttropez (2008-09-02) Extremely happy with this bottle. I ve been using it during summer and the wide mouth allows for ice cubes to fit in nicely. Although without ice my drink was still very cold 6 hours later!! The little push button you press to open spout is easily manageable. No leakage. Over all, great item. Wish I had bought larger size.
#Remarkably Good! (2008-03-28) This vacuum bottle is surprisingly lightweight, very compact and as other reviews have said, keeps liquids warm for many hours (I haven t tried cold liquids in it yet, but if it keeps heat in, I m confident that it ll keep heat out. ) It fits nicely into my nylon briefcase and so far (about 2 months), I ve had no problem with the seal. I carry coffee to work in it each morning and at lunchtime the coffee is still hot enough to burn my tongue. I gave this product 5 stars because I have absolutely no complaint and I really like it.
#Teflon lining unecessary and possibly toxic (2008-03-10) Although this manufacturer has a reputation for vacuum bottles retaining their temperatures for a long time, I returned this bottle when I realized the interior was completely lined with Teflon! Why?? Teflon is not a clean substance, and is a carcinogen at high temperatures. For sustained very hot temperatures, as in storing hot coffee, there is no advantage for the consumer. As far as cleaning, Teflon would stain more than a stainless steel interior, and would probably affect the taste of the coffee. Hopefully, this ma...
#Works well, worthwhile investment (2008-02-10) I m very satisfied. It keeps liquids warm to hot -- even when there is just a small amount of liquid left inside that small amount is kept pretty hot. It s easy to clean and I ve been using it more than I expected. If you like being green buy this product and spare the environment all those discarded paper or styrofoam cups you would have gotten at the local deli, Starbucks, etc. Thermos will pay for itself in about a month of daily use by saving money on coffee or tea. Plus the tea I make is much better quality than what s commonl...
#Excellent thermos. (2008-01-29) GREAT design. The lid mechanism is brilliant, and unlike the IKEA thermos I had previous to this, there is no leaking at all. I don t leave my coffee in there all day, so I can t speak to how long liquids stay hot. The compact size still manages to hold almost 4 cups of coffee and the thermos is very light. Well worth the money.

#Great -- use it all day every day! (2008-07-12) I m very happy with this purchase. I was surprised at how fast it arrived. I use it all day every day -- it keeps my coffee hot and fresh tasting all day! LOVE it and HIGHLY RECOMMEND! FAST SHIPPING!
#Lives up to its claims (2008-07-04) I have a small office with a refreshment stand for my customers. I have tried other makers and in less than 1/2 a day, the water is cold. I left hot water in this one over an entire weekend and when I came back it was still tepid. This easily keeps water hot enough for tea or instant coffee for a full 24 hours. I am sold, the price and value are excellent. The others I bought are considered garage sale items now, and I only paid a few dollars less for them -- should have done more research and bought the Zojurushi first.
#Better than expected (2008-05-24) This is my first pump pot and I wasn t sure how high my expectations should be. I am really wonderfully impressed. At the recommendation of my cloth diaper guru I keep this pump pot full of hot water to use to warm bottles and wet cloth diaper wipes. I am slowing drawing down the volume all day. When I fill the pot with water from the tea kettle even the very last few ounces, ten hours later, will come out scalding hot. I ve started to fill it with less-hot water because the darn thing retains heat so well that I was burning myself. (I have...
#Quality Product (2008-05-21) After buying several less-costly air-pot during the last 15-years, it is a relief to find a sturdy, high quality product. This air-pot is built with enough quality materials that give the impression that it may last 15-years! We make coffee in the early morning and this air-pot keeps it hot all-day long. Even though it s a little more expensive than other air-pots, I m sure it s worth it.
#Tea Time (2007-12-02) I have used Zojirushi air pots for more than 25 years. I brew a pot of tea right in the air pot. It stays hot for 24 hours. The Zojirushi quality is always outstanding. I have lost air pots to accidents when transporting to and from work and have worn one pump out after many years of heavy use. The AASB22SBD uses a lever to activate the air pump. A simple slide switch raises the lever for use or releases the lever so i sits flush with the top of the air pot when you want to secure the air pot from pumping. This is a very nice solution and makes it very evid...

#Great Lunch Box (2008-10-06) My 7th grade daughter uses this to bring her lunch to school. It is a wonderful size and does a great job keeping her lunch warm. My son has the larger one, they both love them and it makes it easy to send them with a healthy lunch.
#Thank you Zojirushi ! (2008-08-24) I have had this lunch jar a few days ad i already love it ! This is an excellent way to use left overs or whatever is on hand. It saves me money and I love the bag it comes with. If you are worried about stainig lightly grease inside of jar with a couple drops of canola or olive oil. I wash the bowls in boiling water with scented dish soap and let dry overnight and ive noticed that helps with the plastic retaining certain smells. I usually dont microwave the food in the jars because it can stain them I microwave in bowls untill piping hot then tr...
#Money well-spent. (2008-08-22) I had originally wanted a Mr. Bento, but I m not the type who eats a large amount, especially for lunch, so I opted to purchase the Ms. Bento. It s just the right size for me. As long as you follow the directions, the food stays nice and warm for a hefty amount of time. I usually make my lunch at 7am, and then eat it at 1pm, and it s always still toasty. I usually heat everything almost to boiling, though, so that probably helps. (I have yet to use it for cold food. )It s fairly easy to clean by hand. I have managed to stain my bottom soup contain...
