#Great thermos (2008-11-11) I originally bought this thermos to bring protein shakes to work. The thermos did keeps the shakes really cold for hours but the smoothie would separate very quickly and would lose flavor (not the fault of the thermos). So now I pretty much use it for milk, which it does keep cold all day. Thermos seals very well, so well, it s often hard for me to unscrew the cap because of the suction ( I have to enlist the help of a coworker), but this does prevent leaks. #Amazing product (2008-09-25) I was a bit skeptical of their temperature preservation claims but I just needed something to keep my coffee drinkable through my first break at work. Much to my surprise the coffee came out steaming hot several hours after I sealed it in there. For my coffee to still be disfiguringly hot after so much time had passed was amazing. If you want to drink your tea right away don t put the sipper or cover on and let your drink cool for a few minutes first. It fits very nicely in the cup holder in my car. #Awesome for the loose tea lover (2008-11-13) I was first drawn to this product when I found out that it has a special loose tea compartment, which was exactly what I was looking for. The basket holes are a little wide, so fine pieces from herbal teas will fall through, but overall it does the job. As for coffee: it makes two cups from my french press, pours into a starbucks tall and leaves room for milk. So for coffee or tea, this little thermos is perfect to take anywhere. If you are serious about keeping your hot beverages, hot, and I mean hot, for 4-6 hours, warm through 8, then there is no other mug. Oh yeah, it s spill proof and has flawless pouring for no-spill drinking too. Limp wristers, a caution, if you tighten the lid moderately, the heat creates a suction and the lid tightens even more. This is the way to keep the liquids spill-proof and hot, but you can tighten it less for easier opening.
