I didn t use it very often, maybe a few times a month, but it was very convenient and I had no problems with it. Recently, I made coffee one day, and the very next day the machine wouldn t turn on. #Works well (2008-12-02) I like this machine, it works well and allows for a fresh cup of coffee when I want one. I like that I can throw the filter into the dishwasher or just give it a quick rinse. My only issue with the DCM18 is that the cover for the mug does not maintain a tight seal. It pops off when I put it on, which makes for dangerous drinking conditions when the coffee is hot! Overall, this is a nice unit with a small footprint on the kitchen counter.
