#Great little coffee carafe but a bit too little (2008-11-19) I bought this to serve coffee at meetings. It works great. My only complaint is that it is just a little small. For an all day meeting with 5 heavy coffee drinkers, I have to refill it 3 or maybe 4 times a day. That is my fault. I should have known that a 1-Liter carafe was not going to be big enough. #Wonderful Product (2008-11-13) I recently purchased this from amazon and we have enjoyed its great quality. Since my husband leaves for work early in the morning, I m not quite ready for coffee. #Great for hot water (2008-09-13) This carafe does a great job of keeping things hot. I use it to keep hot water ready for making or heating baby formula. I ve also made tea with the hot water. It s just the right size to last a day - though it can go 2 days. I also have a simple electric kettle to boil water, so this carafe works well with that. The metal finish is nice, so it looks good sitting on our counter. For those who pay attention to where things are made, this product is made in Japan.

(2008-03-28) This vacuum bottle is surprisingly lightweight, very compact and as other reviews have said, keeps liquids warm for many hours (I haven t tried cold liquids in it yet, but if it keeps heat in, I m confident that it ll keep heat out. ) It fits nicely into my nylon briefcase and so far (about 2 months), I ve had no problem with the seal. I carry coffee to work in it each morning and at lunchtime the coffee is still hot enough to burn my tongue. I gave this product 5 stars because I have absolutely no complaint and I really like it.

#Teflon lining unecessary and possibly toxic (2008-03-10) Although this manufacturer has a reputation for vacuum bottles retaining their temperatures for a long time, I returned this bottle when I realized the interior was completely lined with Teflon! Why?? Teflon is not a clean substance, and is a carcinogen at high temperatures. For sustained very hot temperatures, as in storing hot coffee, there is no advantage for the consumer. #Works well, worthwhile investment (2008-02-10) I m very satisfied. It keeps liquids warm to hot -- even when there is just a small amount of liquid left inside that small amount is kept pretty hot. It s easy to clean and I ve been using it more than I expected. #Excellent thermos. (2008-01-29) GREAT design. The lid mechanism is brilliant, and unlike the IKEA thermos I had previous to this, there is no leaking at all. I don t leave my coffee in there all day, so I can t speak to how long liquids stay hot. The compact size still manages to hold almost 4 cups of coffee and the thermos is very light. Well worth the money.

#Best ever !! (2008-10-28) This is one of the best vacumm bottles I have ever owned !! I can put ice cubs in it and 24 hours later they are still there. Holds it temp. Not quite so long if it s tipped on it s side so the plastic stopper is in contact with the liquid. The open/close mechanism is simple and easy to operate one-handed, but you need to have a flat surface to pour into a cup - it doesn t work well to drink from. #Best vacuum bottle I ve ever used. (2008-04-04) I purchased the Zojirushi vacuum bottle on the recommendation of my husband who has used other Zojirushi products at his restaurant for years. I am thrilled with this product. #Good bottle- less useful for sports (2008-01-12) If you re planning to use this bottle for sports, be aware the opening is fairly small and isn t that quick to operate. Also, the interior is lined (not just stainless steel) so it may have leeching issues depending on what the liner is made of.
