#Totally awesome - this is not hyperbole (2008-12-02) I am, literally, in awe everytime I use this mug. I put hot water and tea in at 7:15 am and close it. I open it at 10:15 and it s still hot. . . not like oh so so hot, but OH SO SO HOT. Also, if you stick it in the freezer for a few minutes and then fill it with ice cold (liquor), you can have a frosty cocktail in the parking lot of your favorite concert, even if it s a few hours away. 8) don t forget the chaser. No ice necessary. I take this mug hiking, climbing, to the club, to work, hell I even bathe with it on occasion. 5 s...
#Good, for a while (2008-11-16) I bought this cup four months ago. It worked great, the coffee stayed hot, and only occasionally would it leak. But the lid would get stuck from time to time, until it broke in half, making the cup unusable.
#Great if you want a thermos (2008-11-10) On the plus side, this keeps liquids hotter than anything I ve ever used. If closed tightly it really does not leak. But closing it isn t the problem. It can form a pretty tight seal and to grasp and turn the very smooth ridge on the top can require dexterity, especially if your hand or the top is wet. Also, the lip is not flat, but curves up on either side, presumably to facilitate drinking without spilling. But it means you have to be very careful if you want to put anything on top, like an AeroPress. Because it is taller than wide, mug...
#Great mug - you realy get what you pay for!! (2008-10-18) We purchased two of these mugs for use in our motorhome. We were tired of all the cheap mugs we had bought or had been given over the years as promotions, and decided to spend the money on what we hoped would be top-quality mugs. I m happy to say that they were definitely worth the investment! We were a little unsure of them before we ordered because we really didn t understand how the lids worked. However, they re pretty simple and straightforward. They are a simple screw-in cap that when screwed completely in makes the ...
#Great Travel Mug (2008-10-12) I decided to purchase this item based on the good reviews I read on this site. I was not disappointed. I do a lot of driving for my job, and a good travel mug is important. This mug holds the perfect amount of coffee, and keeps it hot for hours. I can make the coffee in the morning, and finish it for lunch. It fits easily into the cup holder, and I don t need to worry about spills in the car. It is comfortable to hold and drink out of. My only criticism, and this is very minor, is that if you turn the cap too far, it is difficult to open aga...

#Fatally flawed mug cannot be cleaned and starts stinking (2008-11-24) I purchased this mug locally after too little research. The product suffers from serious design flaws. Despite hand-cleaning thoroughly after each use, the lid smells awful from old coffee and soured milk. There is liquid trapped inside the lid now, sucked into some internal chamber when I poured hot and then cold water over it in an attempt to kill the stench-causing bacterial colonies. The lid cannot be disassembled and can never be properly cleaned because of inaccessible internal surfaces. If that we...
#Great if you like the taste of mold. (2008-11-22) OXO has really let me down this time. . . I bought this cup about 2 years ago and for the first month or so, it was the best cup in the world. Didn t leak, kept hot things hot and cold things cold for hours and hours. Thought I found product utopia. . . then I kept getting sore throats and various infections. One day I looked at the lid and there under the rim of the lid is a pocket of sludge and slime, with no way to access it. I contacted OXO and I ve yet to hear back from them. Terrible product. . .
#Very good Cup. Really is leakproof (2008-11-20) First of all the cup works great and I fill it up and drink for about 2 hours and it is still very hot. I carry it in my ski jacket pocket and let it flop around in it without ONE drop being spilled. it works as intended and really this is what most people what to know about, not how very few people can t figure out how to clean a really simple cup. Now on to my rant about the people that almost made me pass up a really great cup. I bought this item even though I was afraid of the reviews that complained about the top getting gross. ...
#Not for everybody (2008-11-20) I think this tumbler is great if you re a tea or straight coffee drinker. If you have lattes and mochas every day, I think this may not be for you. Yes the seal is awesome, totally leakproof. The heat retention is great too, especially if you preheat. BUT. . . it s true you can t really, truly clean the lid. If I were to drink anything very creamy, chocolatey, or (heaven forbid) with caramel, then it would definitely get stuck inside the lid seal mechanism. Barring that, it s a great tumbler. Great attention to detail has clearly been paid ...
#Easy to use, but hard to clean (2008-11-10) I bought this mug on the recommendation of many people - and it IS easy to use and seems to be leak proof, but am thinking it will be hard to clean. The mug breaks down into to pieces, the lid and the mug, but there s no way to take the lid apart to really clean it. Just called the company to ask if I was missing something, but was told that no, the lid doesn t come apart, and they recommend washing it immediately after us, or at least rinsing out the lid when finished. Easy to say, harder for me to do - I tend to forget to clean it o...

10 ounces / Set of 2 / Insulated / Handmade by expert artisans / For a multitude of hot and cold beverages / Mouth-blown / Dishwasher & microwave safe

#Awesome mugs, but be careful (2008-10-25) I ve had my Bodum mugs for about a month now and love them so far - they are still in one piece! Except for their fragility, I would recommend these mugs to everyone, they help keep your beverage warm, don t burn your hands, and are fun to look at. I keep one at work and one at home and use them nearly every day. Even if I break one, I ll probably buy these again - great product.
#Great design... (2008-10-03) Great design though I am not sure they really keep a cup of coffee hot any longer than a ceramic mug.
#Favorite birthday present (2008-09-13) My husband is very hard to buy for, but had broken his last clear glass coffee mug so I got him two of these for his birthday. He loved them but has already broken one. Since they are double wall, they make twice as much glass to find and clean up. I would still recommend them and will probably buy more when he breaks this last one.
#Serious design flaw! Water gets in between the seals!!! (2008-07-26) These definitely look cool when you pour your coffee into them, but after one wash, they accumulate water in the clear chamber between the seals. I guess this is due to them being hand blown which leaves a small hole at the bottom of the glass. Serious design flaw if you ask me, and unacceptable for glasses that cost over $30 just for 2!! Sorry Bodum, you won t be getting any more of my money.
#Bodum Glass Mugs (2008-06-01) I love these mugs! These are not my first mugs by Bodum but this size is more to my liking than the larger ones. Being insulated, my coffee stays hot longer and the mugs are surprisingly lightweight and can be put in the dishwasher. I will continue to add to my collection of Bodum glassware.

#Just what I was looking for (2008-10-24) I often take soup to work and need something to heat it up in. Plastic containers stain with tomato based soups and don t retain heat very well, this is perfect. The bottom doesn t stain (although the lid does) and it is easy to carry in a back pack or lunch box. An entire large can of non diluted soup fits in it easily with room for crackers.
#soup s on (2008-10-11) I already owned one of these mugs,so adding 3 more seemed natural. I needed large soup mugs that I could use in the microwave and the soup would not boil over. These are the perfect answer. They are great for storage and for serving.
#Price is not good (2008-10-08) Go to Walmart and save 50%. They also have these at target for 6 or 7 bucks, I forget. I love this item, just the price is outrageous.
#Not quite a mug... (2008-07-03) I ordered this looking for a large mug for my wife s coffee. It s difficult to gauge the size of the container from the web picture, so I thought this would be a good option. When the containers arrived, I realized they were huge bowl size, which may be perfect for reheating soup or maybe pastas or rice dishes, but certainly not for drinks. I think the term mug is a misnomer here. I would call this a bowl with a lid. I returned mine and am still looking for a mug that will fit a large Dunkin Donuts coffee with a lid that is microwavable.
#Corningware mugs (2008-06-05) I always MUST have a set of these--to heat my coffee in the morning, to store leftovers, for a multitude of uses. Work perfectly in microwave, and actually, are rather good looking.
