#Outdoor temperature problem (2008-11-28) I ve own one of these for the past five years, and they are great. There is nothing better than being able to know how hot or cold it is outside, while I am getting ready for work. I recently bought one of the units that give you the three day weather forcast. I wasn t sure how much better it would be, but it is nice, being able to know wheather it will be sunny, cloudy or rainy. (We don t get much snow down in Memphis)But anyway, the reason I m writing is because of the problem people have mentioned with the outdoor temperature not showing...

#Seems to work fine. (2008-11-19) At first I thought it might be defective. So I read the instructions :) My only beef is that the range of sensor seems considerably smaller than it s supposed to be. When I moved it about 50 from the base, the signal was unreliable.

#Keep out of direct sunlight (2008-11-17) Work s great. Just make sure the outside unit is out of direct sunlight or it will say it is much hotter than it is.

#Doesn t receive through walls (2008-11-08) Simply, this product doesn t work. The receiver doesn t receive the outside sensor signal through an outside wall. If you place the sensor within ten feet without walls, it works fine, but it does not fulfill its description. Avoid this product!

#CAUTION - Doesn t adjust PST/PDT on the new schedule. (2008-10-29) My La Crosse clock does not reset/adjust itself on the new PST/PDT time schedule. We live on the west coast near Watsonville, Ca. The clock resets on the old schedule and there is no way to adjust or correct it. Customer support will not even consider such a problem and suggest putting in a fresh battery, which I did but of course didn t work.

Wouldn t this make a great gift for a student, or a commuter? The machine brews right into the thermal travel mug and then shuts itself off, so your favorite coffee lover can simply grab and go!

#Great inexpensive product (2008-12-02) This is a great product. It is perfect for people who insist on a fresh brewed cup. I use the inexpensive round basket filters folded in half and half again. I insert them with 3 sections on one side and one section on the other in order to trap the grounds. This is my second machine over the last 15 years. The first is still in use at a friend s house. I have made thousands of freshly brewed cups with no problems and little expense. I had to throw the included mug away, however, because an unpleasant smell from the plastic liner would neve...

#Blujay (2008-11-28) This product works as advertized. It makes a great cup of coffee. I did not get any grounds in the cup as others have noted. I think the finer the grind may cause grounds to slip through the filter. I wish the stainless steel cup was also stainless in the inside instead of plastic.

#Loved it - until it broke (2008-11-25) I got this as a Christmas present in 2007 and I loved it. I didn t use it very often, maybe a few times a month, but it was very convenient and I had no problems with it. Recently, I made coffee one day, and the very next day the machine wouldn t turn on. I tried all the outlets in the kitchen. . . nothing. I don t know if something internal burned out or what, but the light won t come on when I push the switch, and it s been dead ever since. I would consider buying another, but I don t want it to die on me in another year!

#Horribly Inaccurate (2008-11-19) I bought this because it seemed like a cool idea. However I noticed that the temp readings are depressingly inaccurate, ESPECIALLY the outdoor temp. I have access to very expensive equipment at work that reads temperatures and this was off by about 4-5 degrees for the indoor temp and about 10-12 degrees for outdoor temp. Man I would be embarassed to release a product that performed so poorly at the job it was supposed to do. It s cool in concept and wouldn t be a bad idea if you don t care about the useless temp readings.

#Don t buy the TX6U with the WS-9611U-IT (2008-11-18) The weather station gets four out of five stars, but I give Amazon a big zero for the frequently purchased with feature of their site. It recommends buying the TX6U wireless temperature sensor with this unit, but it is not compatible. The TX6U is a 433 Mhz sensor but the weather station uses a 915 Mhz sensor (the TX29U-IT). Don t buy the TX6U with this model weather station. I subtract one star for the weather station because the two little green LEDs on the right side barely illuminate the screen when the back light is activated...

#Great little weather station. (2008-11-15) For the price, this is a great little weather station. Check the dimensions, it is fairly small, but just big enough to sit on our kitchen counter to be checked several times a day. I like the little man, his predictions of rain are pretty accurate, although he often bundles up a bit sooner than I do. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Baking has never been so easy. This baking mat works wonderfully as baking pan liner or as a working surface because of its silicon and fiberglass non-stick surface which makes it very easy to clean. It is completely safe in freezers or microwaves. Up to 3,000 uses or more per mat.

#no more foil (2008-12-02) A much better way to bake. Spend the money and get this product. It will save you frustration and money in the long run. I have used mine many times and it still looks new. Unlike some cheaper silicone mats I have had in the past this one does not stain or discolor. It does not change the temperature of the pan and everything comes off of it easily. Cleaning is pretty easy as long as you have a solid surface to wipe it down.

#Pays for itself (2008-11-18) This thing is amazing. We haven t found anything that even tries to stick to it. This pad has literally paid for itself by saving us from having to buy parchment paper as frequently. One concern I had at first before buying the pad was that the bottoms of baked items like cookies wouldn t be as crispy as before but those fears were unfounded. Heat conducts pretty well through the pad and the bottoms of cookies, biscuits, etc. are the same as they d have been with a regular oiled metal pan.

It s attractive, it saves energy, and unlike ordinary teakettles, has a window that shows how much water is in it and shuts off automatically, so it never boils over. The reviewer who commented that it s hard to fill must not have read the instructions. It can be filled easily through the spout, so the lid doesn t have to be raised for filling.
