#Tammy, Pikeville, Ky (2008-11-23) I love this book! I read a lot but nothing has captivated me since the Harry Potter series until now! I m on the third book and can t wait until I get all on them read! It s good reading for 13+ ages.
#Captivating (2008-11-23) I Was hesitant at first to read this book, but once I starting reading it, I could not put it down. I was, and still am, and advid Anne Rice fan and, though this is not in the same league as the Vampire Chronicles, it s good to see someone reviving the spirit of the Vimpire. Although this book, along with the rest of the series, are written more for the teen audience, I found it captivating enough for an audience of any age. I suggest if you have not read it, or are as skeptical as I was, just give it a chance!
#When life offers you a dream so far beyond any of your expectations, it s not reasonable to grieve when it comes to an end. (2008-11-23) If you don t know by now that this is a story about a romance between a seventeen-year-old girl (named Isabella Bella Swan) and a bizarre, beautiful boy vampire named Edward Cullen, both of whom live in Forks, Washington, you must be living in a cave. The tale is this: because her Phoenix-based mother is often off traveling with her new husband (Bella s stepfather, Phil), the pretty, somewhat solitary, smart teen and only child chooses to move in wi...
#A new lover of books born! (2008-11-23) I bought this series for my daughter who is 12. She has NEVER been a reader and I was trying my best to light a spark. It worked!!! She finished all four of them in a month and is now asking for MORE! That alone makes me a fan. Stephenie Meyer inspired at least one little girl to love to read and for me, her mother, that makes the book a success. Personally, I read the book and found it slow and the characters a little flat/bland. If I hadn t had the other three and moved from one to the next and the next, I would have thought the boo...
#Gag me! (2008-11-22) Okay, I like vampire books. . . That s about all I read. I ve been reading the Southern Vampire series ever since the first book came out (in case you don t know, that s the book series that True Blood is based off of). I liked the Anita Blake books until she turned into a slut. I like Rachel Caine s Morganville Vampire series, which is actually a Young Adult series. Oh, and The Hollows series, with Rachel Morgan? Excellent! In addition to these books, I also like Buffy and Angel and have been collecting the comics, even though I ve never been interested i...

The Tales of Beedle the Bard, a Wizarding classic, first came to Muggle readers’ attention in the book known as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.  Now, thanks to Hermione Granger’s new translation from the ancient runes, we present this stunning edition with an introduction, notes, and illustrations by J. K. Rowling, and extensive commentary by Albus Dumbledore. Never before have Muggles been privy to these richly imaginative tales: “The Wizard and the Hopping Pot,” “The Fountain of Fair Fortune,” “The Warlock’s Hairy Heart,” “Babbitty Rabbitty and Her Cackling Stump,” and of course, “The Tale of the Three Brothers.” But not only are they the equal of fairy tales we now know and love, reading them gives new insight into the world of Harry Potter. The stories are accompanied by delightful pen-and-ink illustrations by Ms. Rowling herself, featuring a still-life frontispiece for each one. Professor Dumbledore’s commentary—apparently written some eightee...

#The exellence continues! (2008-11-23) This book is just as riveting as the first one. I finished New Moon two days after it arrived at my house. The saga gets better as the books continue. :)
#moonlight (2008-11-22) This is a wonderful book. Probly the slowest and least attenion getting than the rest of the books in the Twilight Saga. This is a wonderful collection and I would recommend all four books to anyone.
#Good Book (2008-11-22) The only thing I did not like was that Edward hardly appears in the book. But other than the book is as entertaining as the first.
#LOVED THIS BOOK - HOPE THEY MAKE A MOVIE TO FOLLOW TWILIGHT (2008-11-21) This book is a wonderful follow up. Everyone I have loaned my books to are asking me to buy them a copy for christmas. Yes, they have read them, but say they can t wait to reread them. I just can t even begain to explain how wonderful the book are to read. I my self have already read them twice and can t wait to see the twilight movie, but I am hoping they will follow up the movie twilight with movies of new moon, eclipse, and breaking dawn. I hope they don t just leave us hanging.
#GREAT BOOK (2008-11-21) I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK. STEPHANIE MEYERS IS A GREAT AUTHOR. HER BOOKS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN COMPLETELY THRILLING. A GREAT BOOK TO READ.
The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream

Barack Obama

At the heart of The Audacity of Hope is Senator Obama?s vision of how his country can move beyond its divisions to tackle concrete problems. He examines the growing economic insecurity of American families and the racial and religious tensions within the body politic, and considers the nature of threats from outside America?s borders. By returning to the principles that gave birth to the US Constitution, he says, Americans have a chance to repair a political process that is broken, and restore to working order a government that has fallen dangerously out of touch with millions of ordinary Americans.

#Simply Brilliant! (2008-11-23) The title says it all! Barack Obama reveals his policy ideas for the nation and the sub-text makes it readily evident why he was elected president of the United States. In typical Obama fashion, his ideas are well-considered and thoughtfully crafted. Given the historical nature of his presidency, this would make an excellent gift for anyone who does not own it. I ve given several.
#Presidential (2008-11-23) An Enlightening insight into our new president. Agree or disagree, the throngs who claimed during his campaign that he offed no specifics simply needed to crack a book. Showcasing his unusual ability to fairly and accurately include other opinions in defining his own, Obama s comprehention of contrary philosophies shines forth in a distinguished and diplomatic prose. Well grounded in common sense, candor and hard work, Mr. Obama brings us into his world and his thought processes. One comes away with the distict feeling that even if you don t agree with th...
#The real Barack Obama? (2008-11-19) For anyone out there wondering who the real Barack Obama is, The Audacity of Hope will give you one clear idea. It is part memoir, part political manifesto, encompassing his comprehensive vision for America. The book reveals him to be very smart, well read, compassionate, and sometimes quite funny. I think few people reading the book will agree with him on every policy issue, and no one is really prepared to take on the problems facing our country. But, reading this book gave me faith that the American people have elected a very capable public s...
#Good Read (2008-11-18) Though not as good as Dreams from my Father, a well written book. The book talks deeply about Barack s ideals and issues with the current state of politics. Though you may not agree with his political views, Barack is an undeniably intellegent person who is not afraid to express his political views. The message was powerful, it is now just a matter of executing.
#Great Book! (2008-11-17) After reading this book, all I can say is, I m so glad I voted for him. This book is inspiring, thoughtful and hopeful. Read it. I would also recommend highly his other book: Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance

Readers captivated by Twilight and New Moon will eagerly devour Eclipse, the much anticipated third book in Stephenie Meyer s riveting vampire love saga. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob --- knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?

#Good-But Not As Good As---- (2008-11-23) These vampire and fantasy books, I must say are good by Stephenie Meyers. Kids go from Harry Potter type books into extreme fantasy with now vampires and werewolves, which is very entertaining. Yet, if you really want an incredible fantasy that is close to real life read:Nevaeh and Natas: A Spiritual Fantasy. This has a different twist of Heaven and Hell, but yet it is a great book for teens to read. Hopefully, a movie will be made as well and a series is coming up for this incredible book that has a seriousness of morals and also fun and ...
#omg this book is AMAZING (2008-11-23) OMG, THIS BOOK IS AMAZZZING! I READ IT 4 TIMES, AND IM OBSESSED WITH EDWARD. JAKE IS OK. . . KINDA HOT TEMPERED THOUGH, AND HES ALWAYS LIKE, ITS EDWARD OR ME, BELLA. THIS BOOK IS ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I HAVE EVER READ(ONE OF SINCE IT IS TIED WITH TWILIGHT AND NEW MOON)BUY THIS BOOK PLEEEAAAAASE. . . . ITS SOOOOOO GOOD!
#Captivating...But What s New? (2008-11-22) Like the previous books Stephenie Meyer has written, this is a book worth reading. It starts out when Bella Swan, an eighteen-year-old clumsy female with. . . oh yeah, an irresistably beautiful vampire boyfriend named Edward Cullen, is reading Jacob s note to her. You actually see little blots of ink where the inference is he couldn t control his temper and pressed down on the paper too hard. Everything Bella narrated was a simple, down-to-earth statement. It s amazing how large this phenomenon has grown. Stephenie Meyer writes minimally ...
#Edward & Bella Are Back! (2008-11-22) This was a welcome change for me because I did not enjoy New Moon as much as Twilight. But Edward & Bella return in Eclipse and I enjoyed this part of the story. I read some of the negative reviews and yes, the decision making and portions of the story are unrealistic but that is the point - why are you reading a book about vampires and werewolves and expecting it to be realistic? It s about escapism and fantasy. This is an engaging, easy to read, suspenseful, beautiful story that fits nicely into the saga. I enjoyed and recommend it highly.
#Devilish Book! (2008-11-21) Like I said in my review of the first horrible novel in this demonic series, vampire novels are never the stuff of truth, they are, rather, the stuff of nightmares and demons! These Twilight novels should go out of print and to a warehouse to collect dust forever! By reading them, people knowingly or unknowingly glorify Satan! These books should be taken off Amazon. com!
