#Multiple Blessings (2008-11-22) Me and my family are huge fans of Jon and Kate Plus 8. When I heard this book was out I immediately thought, I need to check Amazon. com. So I did and once again at a very reasonable price so I purchased it and within a couple days it was delivered. Great book! Encourage you all to try it out!
#Great book, fast read. (2008-11-22) I read this book in just 2 days! I love the TV show and this was just a little deeper and closer to the family. I recommend it, mostly for Christian readers, because I don t want non-Christian readers expecting it to be a different kind of book.
#This book is a work of FICTION (2008-11-22) To anybody who is contemplating purchasing this book, please do a little homework and research the scam that these people (Jon & Kate) are running. This book is a joke. These people are con artists who plead poverty but now live in a multi million dollar mansion, all the while accepting love offerings from people at churches and selling their photos for $20. Truly appalling. And what is up with all of the Xtian pap in this book? ANybody who has seen this show knows what a disturbed mess this woman is. . . hardly someone who should be ...
#Great Book (2008-11-20) This book was really great. It goes into great detail of what Jon and Kate went through. I think Jon and Kate are very brave to tell their story through television and words. I believe they are a very strong and relgious family and will conquer through anything. If you like the show, then you will love the book!
#Very Good and easy read! (2008-11-19) An easy read, loved the real account of the ups and downs of multiple pregancy.

#The Esperanto of love! (2008-11-14) If this wonderful book has taught me anything, it s that Klingon is not one of the five love languages.
#Wonderful Read (2008-11-10) I have enjoyed this book so much I have sent copies to several friends. I just love the concepts and have used them more with my children than my wife which was the reason for the purchase to start with.
#Awesome Book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (2008-11-09) This book is an excellent book for people in relationships. It is an easy & good read.
#a MUST read for anyone in a relationship! (2008-10-27) it was my husband s idea to read this book together when we first started dating. boy did it make a difference! the book actually reads really fast. i would recommend taking the test first to find out your love language and your mate s, then read the respective chapters on those 2 languages first, then read the rest of the book. this should seriously be a requirement for engaged couples. without having read it, my husband and i would be miserable.
#Change your marriage, change your life (2008-10-24) This is such a simple concept and very easy to put into practice. If you have a horrible marriage or just a so-so marriage, read this book to immediately start improving your relationship with your spouse. My husband responded so quickly I was amazed. Not knowing our respective love languages previously was the whole problem for us. Now that is all in the past and we couldn t be happier. (My husband has still not read the book, so he s not sure what hit him, but he is reaping the benefits from me and returning the love to me...

#Do you have influence? (2008-11-22) Originally published in 1936, How to Win Friends and Influence People is the archetype of the practical human relations handbook. It is based on courses in public speaking that had been taught in adult education by Dale Carnegie since 1912 (and to put to rest a popular assumption, he was no relation to the magnate Andrew Carnegie). It is an unusual little book, written in a highly personalized, colloquial style that is reminiscent of a lecture. What s separates this book from others that have come and gone since the 1930s is it s timeless. It is w...

#Every Parent should own! (2008-11-18) Every parent should have on hand. Great go to book, when you have any questions it give you clear answers. Would recommend this book for all first time parents.
#Lots of info (2008-11-17) I purchased this new edition for my sister-in-law. I read the previous version for my now 18-month old daughter and it was extremely helpful to the point that I also read What to Expect the first year and also toddler years.
#Good Read, Informative (2008-11-13) As a first time expectant mom, I was looking for a book that was informative yet did not bombard me with so much information that I would freak out. I like how this book is organized by month and it answers questions that many expectant mothers like me have. I would recommend it to other first time moms but I am sure it would be a bore for veteran moms. Some of the information is scary but as along as you continue to see your doctor and know that you are OK, the complications section won t bother you. The point people have to understand is that ...
#Revised Title: What PROBLEMS to Expect When You re Expecting (2008-11-13) After reading this book, I am amazed there are any successful, healthy pregnancies at all. This book has kept me on edge for the entire duration of the pregnancies with its monthly list of complications. I would have definitely been happier with a book that outlined all of the things that you personally can do to ensure a healthy pregnancy, and focus less on possile complications which are beyond your control!!!
#Read this if you like having meltdowns (2008-11-08) To make a long story short, after getting about 120 pages into this book, I called my best friend nearly in tears. I told her I was reading the book, and before I could go into details, she said oh for goodness sakes, don t read THAT! It s all about what you can t do and what can go wrong. Turns out that three other friends of mine echoed the same sentiments with no prompting. This book is a great way to make a (probably already nauseous) pregnant woman even more miserable.

Jeannette Walls

Jeannette Walls grew up with parents whose ideals and stubborn nonconformity were both their curse and their salvation. Rex and Rose Mary Walls had four children. In the beginning, they lived like nomads, moving among Southwest desert towns, camping in the mountains. Rex was a charismatic, brilliant man who, when sober, captured his children s imagination, teaching them physics, geology, and above all, how to embrace life fearlessly. Rose Mary, who painted and wrote and couldn t stand the responsibility of providing for her family, called herself an excitement addict. Cooking a meal that would be consumed in fifteen minutes had no appeal when she could make a painting that might last forever.Later, when the money ran out, or the romance of the wandering life faded, the Walls retreated to the dismal West Virginia mining town -- and the family -- Rex Walls had done everything he could to escape. He drank. He stole the grocery money and disappeared for days. As the dysfunction of the fami...

#Deeply Disappointing (2008-11-21) After reading so many positive reviews for this book, I was deeply disappointed by the content and writing style. The four-word sentences and atrocious punctuation were torture for me. The author may have wanted the memoir to be from a child s perspective but the childish writing style was simply too much to bear. And this from a professional writer? Easily eighty percent of the commas could have been deleted from this book with only beneficial results. Also I found the book to be completely incredible. Walls describes in detail lighting he...
#One of the best books I ve read in 2008 (2008-11-20) Walls writes with a keen eye and a warm heart, I could not put this book down. Easily on my top 10 list, I plan to give this book to those readers on my Christmas list. Highly recommended!!
#an amazing story of courage and perserverance. (2008-11-18) This tear jerking tale was one that brought tears to my eyes. The fact that the tale is true is just as amazing as Janette Walls herself. Many people go through times in their lives where they need courage, and if they are lucky they find it. Janette Walls had a childhood and adult life that have both called for an abundance of courage. Infact it seams that was the one constant in her life, she is a person of amazing strength in both living her life and telling this humbeling story. I will keep this book forever and read it...
#Cant put it down!!!! (2008-11-18) Cant stop reading it and I am totally carried away by the value of Wall s family. The story is so touching and full of energy. Thumbs up!!!
#Best Book all year (2008-11-15) The Glass Castle is the best book by far I have read all year. I couldn t put it down one of those I can t believe she survived books! It is a wonderful story, tear-jerker, a must read and a great book club book, you will definitely come away with your own sense of thankfulness for your own well-being.
