New York Times Best-Seller Unconditional love is eagerly promised at weddings, but rarely practiced in real life. As a result, romantic hopes are often replaced with disappointment in the home. But it doesn’t have to stay that way.The Love Dare, as featured in the popular new movie Fireproof (from the makers of Facing the Giants), is a 40-day challenge for husbands and wives to understand and practice unconditional love. Whether your marriage is hanging by a thread or healthy and strong, The Love Dare is a journey you need to take. It’s time to learn the keys to finding true intimacy and developing a dynamic marriage. Take the dare!

#The Love Dare (2008-11-23) The Love Dare is the most effective book I have ever read on marriage and how to repair damage done, and restore marital harmony. The reason I believe it works so well is it s simple daily approach, and because it requires honest self examination. These principles ARE Christian and the scripture that backs up the daily actions is made more clear in the context of personal relationship, married or otherwise. It is premised in part on the fact that we are all imperfect people, and basically selfish, and that we can build on our successes and virtues, rath...
#Great book! An asset to any marriage (2008-11-22) Don t miss the movie. The book is a great asset to bring it into focus. You will learn how to love when you don t feel like being loving and it will make you more lovable.
#review of purchase of Love Dare (2008-11-22) The book arrived promptly and as represented. In fact, it looked brand new. I generally save a bit of money (even including shipping costs) and certainly time by ordering books through Amazon sources.
#Too trite and robotic... (2008-11-22) I bought this book thinking I would be able to add to the marriage. I found myself in a robotic situations of saying and doing things on certain days. . . . for the sake of the book. I wish it had something to say about doing those things already and most of those things I do already do in my marriage. So, it was no shocker to thank my husband one day or praise him on another day. I found the book to be very patronizing and too elementary for me. It may benefit people who do nothing for their marriages and think little of their spouses. For...
#Powerful! (2008-11-22) Thank you to the men who wrote this book for taking the time to prayerfully and thoughtfully put these love dares together! Several times already, I have stopped right in the middle of working on this book and asked the Lord to bless these men and all who were involved with the movie Fireproof. This is an awesome combination to bring marriage ministry into the churches who aren t sure where to start. I appreciate this work for the effect it is having on our couples and on my marriage personally! Our small group is Daring to Love at this time and it is great. C...

#Enlightening (2008-11-23) After hearing about this book from someone, I really felt to get it. It did not disappoint. This woman had an incredible journey that changed her life forever. I could identify with so many different aspects of her process, I really enjoyed it. I was amazed how much I could identify with her about, even though recently I had just had a fractured arm, nothing like her experience, but, many things changed anyway. I would recommend this book to everyone.
#Review of My stroke of Insight by Jill Bolte Taylor, PhD (2008-11-23) I enjoyed this book tremendously. I saw the author, Jill Bole Taylor, interviewed on Oprah prior to ordering the book, and was intrigued by her story. There were a lot of technical references and maybe a little too indepth description of how the neurons connct with each other, etc. . . . . . , however the life changing information I took from this book, (understanding the effects of positive/negative energy on the patient, knowing I can personally control my thought processes without going through a brain trauma...
#My Stroke of Insight - adds insight into stroke patients minds. (2008-11-22) Reading My Stroke of Insight gave me incredible insight into what it must be like to be in the mind of a stroke patient. I wish I would have known about this book while my dad was still alive. He suffered through several strokes and died in July. It gave one a new perspective on what a stroke patient is going through, which would help a love one and caregiver provide empathy for the patient. The end of the book makes you realize that we humans spend way too much time on things that do not matter and w...
#My Stoke of Insight (2008-11-20) It is a very good book related to the stoke caregivers. It has a lot of information related to recovery and get help.
#Sometimes repetative, but worthwhile.... (2008-11-19) My husband is at risk for a stroke sometime within his life time (already had a very minor one), and so I read this book seeking the detailed information promised by a scientist. The best information was to be patient, look the patient in the eyes, speak quietly and slowly over and over if necessary, stay positive and detail oriented, and develop daily plans. Good information, but sometimes too much repeat information. I also wished that the author had used less contrast description when talking about her first day and week af...

#Another great book By E.Tolle (2008-11-22) This is a good second book for Eckhart Tolle, he really comes alive in this one as he shares more of his pre-enlightened life, making it clear that he is an ordinary man just like anyone. This reinforced the understanding in me that anyone can become enlightened, and not just spiritual teachers. Another great book which breaks down false beliefs structures around enlightenment and strongly highlights the true simplicity involved in enlightenment is Finding Reality Awakening to Spiritual Freedom Both books compliment each other very wel...
#A New Earth (2008-11-22) This life-changing book describes how we must live in order to stop the downward trend that mankind seems to be facing. The ego, that which currently rules mankind and is based primarily on materialism and self-interest, must die if we are to survive. Beautifully written, Tolle describes the urgent necessity of this change and how to go about it. He gives meaning to life and describes the only way to find true peace, contentment, and happiness.
#You might like these books (2008-11-21) If you are a deep material reader then you will really enjoy Rumi & Self Psychology (Psychology of Tranquility) and Sara s Therapy: A Way to Purity. These books are unique, easy to read, full of information, and just amazing, and you can not put them down.
#Transformational (2008-11-21) This moving and transformational books offers real-life, concrete solutions to managing the stress of modern living. Where traditional therapy ends (understanding the why behind our misery) Mr. Tolle s book and mindfulness begin, by teaching the how. How to find meaning in the present moment. How to stop looking for happiness in external things. How to learn to appreciate the true self and live a life of intention and kindness. Mr. Tolle gives the reader a wonderful introduction to Buddhist and mindfulness principals, and he also shows how all t...
#Incredibly important Contribution to the world (2008-11-20) The time of awakening has come. I have felt the shift, and for every ego that is weakened, the world will become a better place. This is a critical read for anyone searching for happiness. Mark MeinckeAuthor: Why not Me? The keys to unlock your power and release your potential

Three years after giving birth to twin daughters, Kate and Jon Gosselin became pregnant again—with sextuplets. Kate’s candid and emotionally-charged book chronicles the exhausting challenges she and Jon faced from the time the babies were conceived through the first two years of their lives, and the faith it took to get through each day.

#Multiple Blessings (2008-11-22) Me and my family are huge fans of Jon and Kate Plus 8. When I heard this book was out I immediately thought, I need to check Amazon. com. So I did and once again at a very reasonable price so I purchased it and within a couple days it was delivered. Great book! Encourage you all to try it out!
#Great book, fast read. (2008-11-22) I read this book in just 2 days! I love the TV show and this was just a little deeper and closer to the family. I recommend it, mostly for Christian readers, because I don t want non-Christian readers expecting it to be a different kind of book.
#This book is a work of FICTION (2008-11-22) To anybody who is contemplating purchasing this book, please do a little homework and research the scam that these people (Jon & Kate) are running. This book is a joke. These people are con artists who plead poverty but now live in a multi million dollar mansion, all the while accepting love offerings from people at churches and selling their photos for $20. Truly appalling. And what is up with all of the Xtian pap in this book? ANybody who has seen this show knows what a disturbed mess this woman is. . . hardly someone who should be ...
#Great Book (2008-11-20) This book was really great. It goes into great detail of what Jon and Kate went through. I think Jon and Kate are very brave to tell their story through television and words. I believe they are a very strong and relgious family and will conquer through anything. If you like the show, then you will love the book!
#Very Good and easy read! (2008-11-19) An easy read, loved the real account of the ups and downs of multiple pregancy.

#The Power of Positive Thinking, Redux (2008-11-23) An inspiring, self-help approach to developing a positive outlook on life. The Secret is a quick read that will leave many readers with an upbeat perspective. On the other hand, the premise is a pop-culture, feel-good approach that, long-term, will do more to enrich the authors and publisher than anything else.
#A Silly Book (2008-11-21) Perhaps it gives (false) hope to those that lack any imagination or drive. But here s the real secret: work hard, live simply, be frugal and save (invest) your money and follow the Golden Rule. The Secret assumes if you think it, it will happen. Not. Kinda like when Edgar Cayce put books under his pillow at night so he would absorb the contents while he slept. . . I tried that with math in school. Lots of F s followed. Follow the Secret. Let us know how your life changes. Meanwhile, I m going to write a book just like it and make a billion dollars....
#not a big fan (2008-11-21) I bought this book a while back but just started reading it. . . not what I expected. I was debating whether to get this book or The Last Lecture, and I opted to get this book. I don t understand how this book got such good reviews because it s pretty redundant and is not very insightful, it talks about the laws of attraction and how like attracts like. I have not finished reading the book, but from what I have read, I m not a big fan.
#Does it really work??? (2008-11-20) The Secret promises a lot of great stuff but does it really deliver?During this period of economic uncertainty we want hope, we want a better future--more abundance, more prosperity in all areas of life. The Secret offers hope and a confidence that you can achieve your dream with intention and focus. That s nice to hear but I found it lacked a clear plan of action. I wanted some clear, practical and easy to follow steps that applied to my life. I also found The Secret was too narrow in its focus. Self-growth isn t just about getting stuff but i...
