#Hated it...now love it (2008-11-21) I really, really wanted to like this product when I bought it, but I HATED it! It made me look terrible! This is creeepy to say, but I looked like a corpse made up for a funeral. I was pasty and cakey. It made my pores look huge. It accentuated every line, blemish, and flaw I had. There was also this incredibly weird shininess. I was determined to like this stuf though and kept trying different things. After much time and much money I finally solved my problem. I was wearing the wrong color. I have extremely pale skin with a lot of redness. ...
#Bare escentuals foundation (2008-11-16) I ve been using this for years and love, love love it! It s has the best coverage of anything I have found and no one even knows that you are wearing makeup!!!
#Pleasantly surprised (2008-11-16) I ordered Bare Escentuals not really believing it would be much different than other foundations and concealers. Boy, was I wrong. It feels light and comfortable on my skin and doesn t look fake likes some foundations do. The result is very natural looking. And it conceals the occasional blemish surprisingly well. I m not big with makeup because of the way most of it feels, but this one s a keeper because it s so much easier and more effective than anything I ve ever tried. If you get the starter kit, be sure to watch the instruction DVD. . . see...
#Bare Escentuals is an excellent product line. (2008-11-10) I higly recommend the Bare Escentuals make-up products. They go on light, are almost invisible on the face, but give excellent coverage. Just make sure you get the color that most perfectly blends with your skin and neck tones and you ll be fine.
#Works like magic with Prime Time primer.... (2008-11-08) I use BE Light foundation, and it matches my skin almost perfectly. I never look like I have a different color neck or anything, and I had a BE consultation at a local salon and spa to match my color to make sure it was the right shade for me. I use the Prime Time primer before putting on my BE. . . . it makes a world of difference in coverage. I used just BE foundation for a year with a regular moisturizer, and it didn t look nearly as good as it does now using less powder with the Prime Time. It makes my skin feel creamy a...

#Perfect for Men (2008-10-26) I bought two of these for my sons. They love it. I actually love the smell. Not overpowering and it is a nice size bottle. I spent under 50. 00 for two bottles. But the smell is very nice. I would purchase this again.

#Feather Light mineral veil is AWESOME (2008-11-06) I was looking for a dewy non-matte look. I tried using MACs strobe cream on top of my foundation but that did not really seem to work well. I also tried mixing BE s Flawless Radience with my BE foundation which was ok. I did not want to use flawless radience by itself because it seemed too shiny. BUT the feather light mineral veil is exactly what I was looking for. It has a little bit of sparkle to it which reflects the light and illuminates my face but does not make me look shiny or glittery. It still does the same things that ...
#Acne prone skin, and still rooting for this! (2008-10-30) Ok, so I see lots of negative reviews on this product for acne prone skin. . . I can honestly say that I have very acne prong skin, since I was very young, its mostly in the sides of my face, but still very annoying. I started using proactive and the bare minerals a few years ago. Together they have kept most of my acne under control. Maybe the negative reviewers are going based on what they ve read versus how they ve experienced it, because I find that with this type of product you need so little of it, that even if it ...
#ick! (2008-10-18) I used to really love Bare Minerals. . . . . until I found out about the ingredient Bismuth Oxychloride. At first my face LOVED this stuff. But after a few months of using it I noticed that when I wore it my face would be itchier then usual. I also started breaking out a LOT more then usual. It wasn t until I did some investigative work that I found out about that Bismuth ingredient and how heavy it is on your face. The whole reason you have to BUFF the makeup on is because the Bismuth Oxychloride is so heavy that it needs to be PUSHED into your skin. I not...
#Bare Mineral wearer (2008-09-17) [ASIN:B000KI8J00 Bare Escentuals Get Started Kit Light/Fairly Light]] This is how to get started and it is so wonderful that you will be hooked. It is cheaper to buy in kits, but after you start using these products you will have to have more and more colors and products. I have been using these products for 6 yrs. . . . I will never go back to creams.
#Wonderful for sensitive skin. Light and Easy to use (2008-08-30) Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil, just one of the line of BE products is a very light powder that cuts out the shine, is not perfumy, is extremely good for sensitive skin and extremely easy to use. Buy it and try it.

#Better coverage than liquid (2008-11-12) I just got my kit today and am so in love! It is easy to use, covers well and is easy to touch up if need be. This includes both fair and fairly light. Fair is very light and fairly light is a tad darker, a bit too dark for my skin however I found a great use for it. Warmth, a foundation primer and 3 brushes complete the set. You start by applying the primer, just a tad all over your face. It helps refine your pores a bit and I think it may help the make up stick. Then you use the swirl, tap, buff method to apply your foundation. You can ...
#I ll Never Go Back to Liquid Foundation Again (2008-10-22) I have what i ve always considered problem skin. It s on the oily side with largish pores, prone to breakouts (even though I m in my late 20s), and has a tendency to look greasy under makeup. For years I ve worn liquid foundation to cover up these imperfections and to even out my skin tone. I never thought that a powder based foundation could work for me because they typically don t provide enough coverage. I have a few friends that rave about bareMinerals, so when a store near me recently offered a free two week trial kit,...

#Overpriced - $5 mascaras do just as well as this one (2008-11-16) So far, I believe I have tried most mascaras out there and the best results I ve had were based on what girls at the high-end make-up counter shared: Clinique lash builder base with Lancome mascara over it. I truly did get great results from that combo but was hoping when I tried this I could get the same results in one product. Overpriced because of the name - like other reviewers posted, this product offers nothing more than the stuff you could find at Walmart for
#THE BEST MASCARA ON THE MARKET (2008-11-16) The mascara looks like the professional finishes you see in Magazines. This mascara makes my lashes fuller, thicker and appear longer. This is a must have in every makeup bag, along with Dior Lip Maximizer.
#Gorgeous, richly-pigmented mascara (2008-11-09) I first tried this a couple months back. The wand is GIGANTIC! One coat does the trick for huge, fat lashes - - and a pleasant surprise - - the result looks like I used a primer, first. I realize not everyone gets the same results using the same makeup, for instance, I ve had none of the flaking issues noted by another reviewer. And while I ll agree Maybelline, Loreal, Revlon, and other great drugstore products (some of which are made by the same companies as the dept. store brands) are darn good at filling the bill without hurting th...
#It s OK (2008-11-05) I got a sample of this mascara in black, and was disappointed. It looks OK on, but I just was not impressed. For a product that retails at $24 I expected better. It doesn t irritate my eyes or anything, but after a few hours I find that I get little mascara flakes under my eyes (not good!). The coverage is OK, but that s about all I can say. For $24 I could ride out half a year or more with just about anything by L Oreal (which has never disappointed me in more than a decade) or go a whole year with Maybelline Great Lash -- another great one that lasts and ...
#So much hype over so little. (2008-10-31) I have short, light lashes so I am always on the lookout for a great mascara. After finally taking the rather expensive plunge to try Diorshow I am so unimpressed. I did one eye in my standby Loreal mascara and one in Dior and I could not tell the difference. Coated lashes, no clumping. Hardly anything to get excited about. I wish I had my 24 dollars back. If there really is a sucker born every minute I guess it was my turn this time around.
