#great care for a great filter (2010-06-08) I don t understand the people complaining about having to clean their filter in their review and complaining about it taking an hour. If i only have to spend 1 hour every 25-50,000 miles on my car on an air filter i m happy. Not to mention increased power and fuel efficiency. All in all, i love k&n products and highly recommend both the filters and the cleaning kit. If you are worried about loosing your initial investment as one reviewer noted, just hold off on the cleaner for a few years and buy it when you need it lol.

#Ok (2010-05-27) Buy the aerosol type instead. The squeeze bottle is too uneven and much harder to apply. The aerosol evenly coats the filter. The cleaner does a good job of loosening the dirt for the pre-cleaning.

#Great Filter (2010-07-15) I use K&N air filters on all my vehicles, to include my FJR1300. All have offered better performance than the stock filters. I must say that they MUST be maintained properly to get optimal performance, and not damage intake components. Most folks over oil these filters or do not clean them properly. If the manufacture s instructions are followed, you ll get great performance and long-life with these filters.

#suzuki air filter (2010-06-14) K&N filter are without a doubt the finest filters for the money. Super easy to install and this filter has both increased my gas milage on my bike but most importantly it increased my horsepower. I didn t know that my bike was so responsive until l installed this filter. Worth the money!!!!!

#K&N is better (2010-04-08) K&N makes a better air filter than anything the factory will include on their bikes. It s part of the upgrades I did to my stock Vstar 650. Also use a quality synthetic oil, iridium plugs and Lucas top lube in the gas.

#A good filter (2010-02-19) I have heard about these filter forever. I guess everyone is familiar with their claims, better gas mileage, more power, reusable, thinner thighs. All I can say is it fits, it looks good and the motorcycle for which it was bought isn t complaining about it. If I notice anything else over the next few months, I ll edit this report. That said, I don t push the bike to its limits and don t pay much attention to gas mileage. I have several friends who swear to it and, frankly, they are the picky kind of people who pay attention to that kind of thing.

The K&N store charges $6. 99 plus shipping as opposed to Amazon s $8. 83 plus shipping. K&N offers 3-day shipping for only $3. 00 more and Amazon offers 3-day for an additional $5. 58.

#Does not fit 1998 Subaru Forester 2.5 (2010-05-21) I received the product and tried to install in my air filter housing. The rubber band around the air filter is too wide and sits up too high. I can not engage the tabs at the bottom of the filter housing. I have used the products on all my other vehicles with out any problems but this is too big. I will rma the product back to Amazon and buy a stock filter from my slug local parts store branch. Good thing I checked out the air filter it was all dirty and clogged so I should see some improvement with a new filter. [. . ....

#fits and works (2010-05-04) It fits a 2010 Subaru Legacy 3. 43R. The engine now sounds a little less mechanical when it revs and I noticed about a 2-3MPG increase. At the price, one would be a fool not to consider getting one.

#INSTALL THEN THROW AWAY (2010-05-01) Have one on a Buick Skylark. I like the leave it in 50,000-100,000 miles. I skip the cleaning kit, as it is $12. . . for $42 I can buy a new filter, and after that mileage, I do not want a used one. So I do not clean it at all, better cost effective is throw it away after 100,000 and install a new one. Cleaning kit is not cost effective, just buy and install a new one. Yes, it is supposedly guaranteed for one million miles, or 10 years, but that is stretching it. . . . . after 100,000 miles, I have my money s worth. Out it goes.

#Great Filter, As Long As It s Clean (2010-04-18) Make no mistake, K & N filters are top notch, but beware of people who claim huge improvements in mileage and power (i. e. 10-15%). With the billions of dollars the auto industry has spent trying to improve gas mileage and power, every car made in the world would have these as original equipment if such gains were possible. If life were only so simple. People who replace a CLOGGED filter with a new one will notice an improvement (if it s clogged badly enough, the improvement might be that your car runs now). #Super-star air filter (2010-04-18) The era of mandatory field-trips to the dealership for a new filter every 15,000 miles came to a close. Enter the washable convenience of K&N. Installation intuitive, fit great, no snags. Have not noticed significant difference in gas mileage, nor in dynamics of my 350-Z, but will continue to watch fuel consumption as the most likely area for improvement given my car s configuration. Would pursue other mods,like exhaust mods for example, first if seeking fast and noticeable bump in power output.

#Plan on buying 7 aire filters, just buy this (2010-03-15) I have been trying to find a cheaper alternative to the KN, but when I looked at the price, it was the same as buy 7 Walmart fram air filters. I off road so go through filters fast (I know you are not suppose to use KN off roading, but I do). Decided to buy the filter and never think about the filter again.

#Didn t see any big differences (2009-10-29) Changed from a paper air filter to the K&N. Didn t see any improvement in fuel milage nor experience any improvement in horse power. Hopefully I can save some money base on it being a re-usable filter.
