#Lots of compliments (2008-11-10) I bought this coat in black last winter and have worn it many times since getting it. Every time I wear it I have recieved many compliments from all age groups. It looks great when you are dressed up, but also looks great with black straight leg jeans for a more casual gothic look (fantastic for concerts). The sizing is accurate if you use their size chart, and it definitely is flattering on us plus size women. It is that hard to find ultra trendy. I have just ordered the Mulberry this year because it is such a great coat.

#Nice design & fabric, strange sizing (2008-04-15) I fell in love with this coat when I saw the picture. I was a bit uncertain about getting it when I read the reviews citing strange sizing. But I was too intrigued to resist. By Newport News sizing chart, I was 3 sizes bigger than what I actually wear. If you ve got a bit more sand in your hourglass than the gal in the photo, I d recommend using their chart, and if your numbers fall between two sizes, order the smaller size rather than the larger. #Lovely coat for the price. (2008-03-10) I really love this coat I wear it often and get a lot of attention because of it. It s unique and thats what I like about it. It is meant to look like a old fashion riding coat. Perhaps 18th century, victorian ish. So don t expect it to be this amazing modern coat or something. Had I bought it full retail, I don t think I would be nearly as happy with my purchase. The cut is very flattering. The materials are of good quality and have a good weight when holding in one hand( in other words NOT made of light weight cheap material). black velvet, lined with what feels and looks to be black silk. #Needs Work (2008-11-08) These are my first pair of seven jeans and as I thought, I will need to get them tailored. I bought a size up to fit my hips and thighs but, the waist is too big. I will also have to make them a true skinny crop jean. Overall, very nice jean. For the price, I can definitely afford to make the changes.

#Recessionista s delight, with a couple of upgrades (2008-11-04) I bought this jacket to wear to my husband s company s annual holiday dinner, which consists of 25 or so very nice people getting together for a gourmet dinner in one of the loveliest and draftiest old mansions in New England. #The front is also excellent. (2008-05-31) I don t know why there s no photo of the front of the jacket, but it is also excellent. It buttons down the center with brassy buttons matching those on the sleeves, and striking slanted button holes. On each side of the front it has three rows of horizontal trim above the pocket flaps, made out of thin cord-like flat sections of matching fabric, similar to military piping. The pockets aren t real, they re just flaps, but the decoration on the front is excellent and does complete the military look.
