#I adore Callanetics, BUT... (2008-01-02) I absolutely adore Callanetics! It really does give you those fast results promissed, BUT personally I find the 10 years younger in 10 days to slow paced and boring. It seems to me as if the toning session is over too soon and that the emphasis of the program is more on stretching. I also find the instructions insuficient. #Simply the best (2008-11-02) I heartily recommend this video/DVD to anyone of any age and level of fitness who wants to begin a healthy exercise routine. Beginning Callanetics demonstrates how each exercise can be adapted around different limitations, such as weak legs, bad back, lack of flexibility, etc. . The movements are tiny and use minimal energy, so they re low impact and easy on the spine and joints. This starts more gently than yoga and pilates, yet becomes more taxing as the muscles develop. #Excellent for toning and suppleness. (2000-08-12) The easy looking exercises belie what goes on underneath. Exercise 4 times a week and notice results within a month. It strenghens, tones, changes posture and makes you so supple you d swear that you were 10 years old again. You can do the exercise in your living room and all you need is a chair and a structure as high as a dining table. You need dedication though and just watching the video is not going to do it for you.

#Good but not as good as the first Callanetics (2005-09-03) Sadly, I ve never really managed to use this tape quite as often as her first one. I like the idea of the class doing the exercises/movements with you. This one is definitely more advanced movements and fine if you can work away on your own.

#it can change your body in weeks (2002-07-16) you mould definatley have to try the original callanetics, because it does take a few weeks to get the hang of it. once you have mastered that video, you can move on to this. within weeks I had gone down to my lowest weight ever. my hips and bum toned, and stomach went flat. #Great fun but watch your pelvic floor!!!! (2005-01-08) My daughter got a rebounder for Xmas 3 years ago. I have used it much more than her doing this video. It is brilliant fun, excellent aerobic excercise and make you feel really good by the end. Only problem for the older mothers is a bit of leakage! #Pure genius! (2003-08-26) This is a truly addictive, mood enhancing video workout. As an integral part of a calorie-controlled diet, it s a superb way to burn fat, tone up and get a cardio-vascular workout as you go, without the damaging impact on joints you get with hard surfaces. My energy and fitness levels have increased off the scale. It s good fun and I never tire of the routines. I would particularly recommend it to anyone who has neither the time nor the inclination to join a gym!

#Great for Beginners (2003-02-25) This video explains in detail the basics of Pilates and gives you a good grounding. All the exercises are explained carefully and different ability levels catered for. You will not feel particularly like you are working out whilst you do the moves, but you will notice a difference in your body. For me in particular, my abdominals became stronger and my spine lengthened and posture improved. Once you have worked on this video for a while, you will feel the need to progress to something more challenging.
#harder than it looks (2001-03-01) When i first viewed this without physically joining in I thought this would be another video i would put with my many other ones (on the shelf).
