This captivating game could have been made with London s rush hour in mind. In fact Rush Hour was invented by American games company Binary Arts. In the US it went down a storm, winning various prizes including a national award from Mensa. The objective of Rush Hour is to move the little red car out of the snarled up traffic gridlock that the game begins with. Rush Hour arrives with 40 challenge cards, which depict various gridlock scenarios to set up your traffic jam to. Use the coloured Troublesome Trucks and Aggravating Autos to reflect the chaos on your particular challenge card. Then all you have to do is move the blocking vehicles up or down on the grid in order to free up the escape route for your own red car. And yet this wonderfully simple concept is enthrallingly more difficult to execute. Who knows, maybe the real London rush hour is easier on the nerves than the Binary Arts version. The challenge cards themselves offer four different levels of complexity and all solutions ar...

#Fun for long journeys (2009-05-31) This game is fun and gets you re mind going. It is a one player game, and very satisfying when you complete one of the levels. This is a good beside the poolside game on holiday, I am going with my friends to a hot country and this is most likely to be utilised the majority of our awake hoursGood game, Good fun challenge
#Something for all. (2009-05-05) This game is great on a variety of levels. Younger children can gain a sense of acheivement by matching the cards to the grid while older ones can compete with themselves to get out of gridlock. Solutions on the rear of each card are simple for a supervising adult to understand but not so clear it takes the challenge from the child. One the naughty boys will do antyhing for!
#Brain exercise!!! (2009-04-29) We were introduce to the game by cousins in Malaysia - we had so much fun that we got one when we came back. My 6y old love a challenge to exercise his brain. We even run family competitions who s the faster to do the same one. the best time is that every time it look s like a new challenge. GREAT FOR KIDS FROM 5 TO 95. Give some to other friends as birthday presents, they love it. The little special bag make it easier for more fun in the car or on the plane!!!!!!!
#Fantastic (2009-04-03) Bought this game to use in an Alternative Provision School to encourage spacial awareness in youngsters with dyslexia. It has been well used and has proved to be great fun. Have since bought another copy to take to Spain to a friends daughter who I play games with in the evening. A great game which I would reccommend to all ages, with or without children.
#Rush Hour (2009-02-11) As the title suggests, there is grid with moveable cars and you need to find a way for the red car to get out of the traffic jams. There are varying difficulty levels which makes it ideal for all the family to play. Ideal to take away with you to play too as it is not too big. You can also buy extra packs of cards and different cars such as a limo. A good game.

Rush Hour Junior is the only time when it s fun (and safe) to play in traffic. The puzzle is designed for solo play for children aged from 6-8 years. The game comes complete with a Traffic grid, 16 brightly coloured vehicle pieces in various shapes and sizes (including your ice cream truck), 40 challenge cards and a travel bag. Playing the game is really easy, players choose one of the challenge cards and moves all the traffic pieces off the grid. Next, they replace some of the pieces--cars, trucks and buses--to match the drawing on the challenge card, making sure they are all placed in the correct position. Whatever card you choose, your ice cream truck will always be in the same row as the exit on the traffic grid. Your task is to move the other cars, trucks and so on, out of the way so that your ice cream truck can escape. There s only one rule--you can t take pieces off the traffic grid. Like real cars, you can only move them forwards or backwards. You win your challenge when you...

#Why didn t I think of this?! (2009-01-12) This is one of those games I wish I d invented! It s so simple and yet so very addictive, a kind of pre-chess strategy puzzle. We bought this as a gift for our 3-year-old, despite the 6-8 guidance, as he is really into anything transport-related and enjoys handling small toys which seem more readily available and directed towards girls (Polly Pockets etc. ). I really didn t expect him to grasp the concept of the game. The game is firstly to copy a chosen card (which are graded) by placing the plastic vehicles on a small board in the same...
#Fantastic (2008-02-12) I asked for this for my daughter for Christmas after seeing good reviews on Amazon. I wasn t disappointed. This game is advertised from 6-8 which personally I think is slightly too old. My daughter is almost 5 and was hooked right from the beginning. She spent an hour or more working her way through the cards - and she was much less inclined to give up than I was! Since then this is a game she returns to over and over again and I am definitely planning to take it with us on a long haul flight later in the year. Some of the cards are too hard for her at the m...
#rush hour traffic game -the best.. (2007-12-27) Bought this for my daughter for christmas as well as the original version. Once all the loud hi tech games had been opened and played with it was teatime . From the very first time she did the first puzzle so was hooked-and so was i . . . . A very simple idea of plastic cars on a plastic tray -you move the ice cream truck out of the grid my removing the traffic jam. Some are easy some more challenging-gets your brain thinking in afun way. This toy is that good i bought the harder adult version so the fun will continue-worth every bit you ...
#terrific traffic jam! (2007-08-22) My 6 year old was bought this as a birthday gift. At first glance it looks like there is not much to it, but it is brilliant fun and very addictive. It s definitely a go anywhere game. We took it to a family party (for the kids to play with) and all the adults were completely hooked! Guess what everyone is getting from Santa?
#Brilliant game for home & travel (2007-02-12) what a fabulous game! My 6 year old son loves it and its easy/medium/advanced variations make it enough of a challenge for anyone, even adults. My 4 year old son is also interested in it, but just a bit too young to concentrate without getting frustrated. Great quality, a really simple concept and small enough to go anywhere in its good quality travel bag. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to buy a fun, educational game that kids can play unassisted.

Find the shortest route through the Amazing Labyrinth and you ll be the victor. This game is designed for 1-4 players aged eight years and above and the aim is to reach all your allocated treasures and targets using the shortest possible route through the Labyrinth and to be the first back to the start point. But there s a twist, the structure of the Labyrinth can change at any time as players manipulate the course to either make a path easier for themselves, or block that of an opponent. The board appears partly complete with fixed pieces of the Labyrinth. Before the game commences the labyrinth is filled in with all but one of the maze cards supplied. This creates a random pattern of pathways and treasures across the board. The Treasure cards are dealt face down equally to all players. At their turn the player picks up the top card to reveal their assigned treasure. (This is their first goal and they must not look at the rest of the cards until this goal has been achieved.) They th...

#An excellent great fun no dice needed game to really make you think! (2009-07-03) No dice in this game for a change and although it might seem simple (and it is)it can get you thinking ahead to make sure you get to your goal. Age 10 to whenever will get great fun out of this.
#A brilliant Game. I have had my board for over 20 years (2009-04-14) I am so pleased this game is still available. I have had this game since it first came out in the 80 s. It is just brilliant. My board is still in full working order and it has been played so many times over the years. I have just introduced it to my friends and their children and I am pleased to say 3 were ordered from Amazon the very next day. Just goes to show the success of the game. Only 2 rules and the ability for children and adults to play together at different difficulty levels allows fun for all. Working ...
#An incredible game! (2009-02-23) This is an incredible game that is as good for adults as children. The design is so simple and yet it s very well made and durable. There are many, many avenues for strategy and clever game play. It really does make you think. It s so refreshing to find something of this calibre in these days of electronic games and gimickery.
#Ravensburger Labyrinth Game (2009-02-14) We were introduced to this game by our Twinning family in Germany and throughly enjoyed the fun and frustration, the skill and the possibility of being really nasty once you realise what your opponents need. It is an important element of their family evenings. When we got home we bought the game and have had great fun with adult friends (all pensioners) and with our grandchildren. The rules are easy to master and the game can be quite fiendish.
#playing the game (2009-02-07) Having played at different times with grand children aged 6-10 and 18-25, we found it versatile and challenging - strategies had to be carefully thought out and adapted to a changing path. Rules were a minimum and it was not too long, providing fun for all. The 34 loose tiles forming the play board and could be easily mislaid. It made our games evenings and can be readily recommended
