#Love, love, love this giraffe - and so does my baby! (2009-02-24) My baby adores this colourful, interesting and stimulating giraffe. Now he is 6 1/2 months he laughs when the giraffe comes out and gets all excited, keeping a tight grip of it even when I pick him up. He does show preference for this already over other items, suggesting he prefers it. He particularly enjoys chewing the different textures!Great gift too, I got one for a friends baby and they both loved him!
#Great buggy entertainment (2009-02-07) The bright colours & different fabrics, etc create great entertainment while in the car or buggy. Long legs that can be grabbed, pulled & eaten are a great hit!
#Learning about hands and actions (2009-02-06) I bought this for my baby daughter of 7 weeks when I read the reviews about it. I have to say, she loves it. It hangs in her moses basket (attaches to the hood via the neat hook) and dangles above her head. She was absolutely fascinated by it at first and has gradually began to reach out and play with it. She can t use the squeaker yet (now 15 weeks old) but bats the feet around to make the bell ring and the little beads rattle. It keeps her occupied whilst I get my breakfast and cup of tea in the morning :) She always stares at it wh...
#CUTE AND COLOURFUL (2009-02-01) I bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter s bump. Mummy thought it was lovely and especially liked the giraffes cute face. It is now attached to my granddaughters crib and the bright colours make it easy for her to focus on. She loves to lie and stare at it and has now begun to realise, if she hits it, it makes noises! She absolutely loves it, although mummy and daddy don t find it as amusing at 2 o clock in the morning!
#Interesting (2009-01-08) It s a good toy but too complicated for even a clever baby younger than 7 months to use herself/himself: it features squeakers on the nose and one of the legs and is quite parent time intensive! It s a nice looking toy though - well made, feels safe and very good quality. I would buy it again and would recommend it.

The soft, brightly coloured and padded mother duck has a secret--turn her over and hidden inside are three little eggs which transform into sweet little ducks and, rather interestingly, one swan. All the birds are in vibrant primary colours. Mother duck is great for practising quacking as well as developing an understanding of different sizes, while her little family is a challenge in fine motor function development when transforming from eggs to ducklings. Even better, the baby ducks and swan are finger puppets guaranteeing lots of fun and let s pretend games. There is also a helpful leaflet with hints and tips about learning through play. --Christina McCarthy

#Duck family review (2004-07-16) This really is a great toy. Mummy duck has three little eggs which hatch into baby duckies . . . . very cute and really is a winner for any age! My little boy loved this from 6 months as he loves the colours and patterns, and when my friend brings her children around it is a favourite with her 4 year old as he loves baby animals. Very educational too as it helps explain that eggs turn into baby duckies. Really is a one of a kind toy as i ve not found anything along the same lines. A must for any toy box!
#Colourful and full of FUN (2003-03-30) Hm, . . ducklings that can turn into fun colourful balls and hidden away in the mother duck! A very original design. There s also and odd one out, a baby swan. Children can be taught the well known story of our childhood! :)
#Duck family (2001-05-28) Our 12 month old enjoys playing with these little ducks as much as our 4 year old. The baby ducks can be turned inside out into eggs which then fit inside mother duck. Mother duck then lays the eggs with help(!). There are three babies. Two little ducks and a little white one. Our 4 year old keeps acting out the ugly duckling! They have both had hours of amusement and it led to one of our son s first words being ",duck",.

Lamaze Octotunes is a spectacular Octopus and one of a wonderful collection of soft, lovable toys that have been designed in conjunction with Lamaze International (an award-winning American childbirth and early parenting organisation) and Yale University Child Development Experts. They are designed to stimulate imagination and discovery by exploiting the senses and imagination as the child develops and grows. Eyecatching, soft and cuddly, Lamaze Octotunes belongs to Stage One of the range--a toy to Awaken the Senses--and it is aimed at babies from birth onwards. This is a time when vision, hearing and touch develop rapidly and the Octopus helps develop these senses. It is sturdy and at the same time beautifully soft and squashy. It is brightly coloured and contrasting, with various patterns. Each of its legs plays a note and put together these notes form a musical octave, which means tunes such as Mary Had a Little Lamb, or Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star can be picked out. (Obviously b...

#beautiful but not useful (2006-10-19) This looks lovely on the windowsill in our playroom but sadly isn t used. The legs are just a bit hard for little ones to grip and squeeze to produce the notes. My children are 3 and 1 and can t really play with it even yet.
#Grow first and then play Octotunes (2003-11-17) Having been bought Octotunes as a present for my daughter, (then aged six months) we found the bright colours attractive, but my daughter wasn t able to do much more than look at it, as it is quite heavy for a toy aimed at this age group. It does however, have a pleasing vanilla scent to it. Now aged nearly eighteen months old, we have more fun, as she is just about strong enough to squeeze the different coloured legs to make a variety of musical notes. Octotunes main body has a very soft feel to it though, almost like a teddy bear ...
