#Hours of fun (2008-11-20) Helicopters are inherently difficult to fly. Silverlit has made things a lot simpler to give you hours of fun. As you might expect you cannot do all the manoeuvres a normal helicopter could do. The helicopter stays flat most of the time and turning is controlled easily but a dedicated switch on the remote. The durability of this product is phenomenal. After many hard landings at the early stages of the learning curve it s still working and behaving like new. For the price, you might as well buy one even if you re not a big fan of the genre.
#Fun, but it ll break (2008-11-17) Now I know that no one will read this and there will be a millon sold by January, but they re very very easy to break! I had mine for just 3 days, i din t crash it. . . . much, I was just hovering about in the lounge when it began spinning uncontrolably. I had a look at it and found that the tail had come slightly loose and was wobbly. Therefore, I recommend buying the dual-rotor model which might. . . . . might get rid of the problem. I gave it a 2 for educational values because it takes some doing to master this thing! Happy flying! ZRH
#fun, challenging and fragile! (2008-11-14) I bought a twin pack of these helicopters for my son last Christmas. At first they were great fun, and actually rather challenging even for adults to control. However, if crashed at the wrong angle (and believe me - you WILL crash them) the small downward pointing section at the end of the tail breaks. Both of my son s helicopters have broken tails and will no longer fly properly. The part is so small it can t be fixed even with super glue. They are too light to fly outdoors (we got one stuck in the neighbours tree!) and you need a larg...
#Fantastic! Easy to control, Durable and Lightweight! (2008-10-25) This was definitely the best buy ive ever made. The price is amazing for what you get. I would highly recommend this for any children between 8 and 14 :)
#Simply amazing! (2008-10-12) The picooz is the most fun i ve had in ages. I bought it knowing it was good and it is. Its great value for money and when they say its durable they mean it. It only takes a few flights to learn what your doing. However read the instrutions and make sure to trim. If youre going to buy it for a kid make sure there mature enough. The design is great it has a built in LED (light) so you can have night flights. If yout going to fly it outdoors make sure there is no wind or direct sun. A brilliant buy reccomended!!!

#Just a jigsaw (2008-11-01) I got this as a stocking filler for my 6 year old and it was quite a difficult puzzle to put together. First of all we couldnt get in the box without ripping all the paper and secondly the pieces are quite flimsy. It took us a while to finish but we got there!
#Disappointing picture... (2008-10-22) Quite disappointed that the picture was really not that great, not even of one of the more popular aliens. I would never have bought this jigsaw from a shelf but I suppose that s what you get from buying blind. I now have to search the shops for a Ben 10 jigsaw, as opposed to a little-known alien jigsaw. I just wish the advice of the product supplied being a different design would be made more clear as I only noticed this after I had ordered, or at least put on images of the alternative designs.
#A great deal for a few pounds (2008-09-29) I really don t know what the problem is with some people that can t handle anything a little different that what they are used to. The puzzle can be opened without any trouble, you just had to rip the bottom edges carefully and that s it. It s a great puzzle, mi 5 year s old had lots of fun with it, I totally recommend this product (the one with the pictures of the monsters too).
#Great for rainy days. (2008-08-17) My son is 5 and although he finds the jigsaw challenging he loves every second he spends doing it plus it is one of his favourite things in the world at the moment. I think this item is well worth the money.
#Don t be deceived by looks (2008-08-03) I brought this puzzle for my son, but its simply the worst puzzle ever developed and that is due to its one mail flaw, you have to rip open the box to make it. It is not packaged like a traditional puzzle it is fully seladed and cannot be opened other than ripping it all apart. Even at this cheap price it is a waste of money, the puzzle I got was one of the monsters as well and the picture was rubbish. Don t waste your cash.

Find out just which car is the Coolest, and which car is like a sock full of walnuts with Top Gear Cool Cars Top Trumps - coming at you at 90 miles an hour! Crammed with more facts and stats than you can fit in a people carrier, the pack has been written and developed with the aid of the Top Gear Magazine team and just as you d expect from the Top Gear crew, it s a little tongue in cheek, a little irreverent, but fast and furious nonetheless. 6 Years +

#Top gear top trumps (2007-12-05) I saw this item on Amazon and instantly jumped up with joy. I ve just ordered them and I cannot wait till I get them. I m a huge fan of top trumps games as they are enjoyable and can be played with the whole family. I especially love motor top trumps. This item would be a must have for all top gear fanatics like myself.
#Un beatable combination (2007-11-30) Not just Top Trumps but Top Gear as well - this is an ideal stocking filler or easy to carry amusement for a train / plane trip that will appeal instantly to fans of the TV show but is still fine for all to play
#Fantastic Gift (2007-11-27) A must for Top Gear fans. . . . the nutter who reviewed and gave 1 star is quite simply clueless and has no idea what top trumps are all about. . .
#WAKE UP CATMANDOO!!!! (2007-11-26) I read the review from Catmandoo and to say I was not happy was a under statement. I do not believe that anybody who is walking today has not played or heard of Top Trumps. This game has been around for donkeys years why write a review and slag the product off when you apparantly know nothing about it. If you haven t played or heard of Top Trumps just ask any kids that live down your street they will put you right.
#Why write a review when you don t know what you re writing it for? (2007-11-21) I have to leap to the defence of Top Trumps after the reviewer who gave it 1 star has had their say. They have obviously got no idea what the game is all about and I consider it most unhelpful of them to then give the game a 1 star review. Top Trumps has largely been responsible for teaching my reluctant reader son how to read, and I m sure there are many other children out there who are now engaging in reading thanks to these cards. The knowledge they impart about the topic they are covering is an a...
Bop It Extreme 2

Average Customer Rating: (22)

Brand: Hasbro

Price: £12.00

The popular BOP IT game goes extreme complete with five actions and a one-on-one game! Now you can bop it, twist it, pull it, spin it or flick it! Compete to the beat as electronic spoken and musical commands test your reflexes. Four musical styles to choose from: hip hop, Latin, rock and R & B it even connects to your stereo or headphones (not included)! Requires 3 x AA batteries (Not included)

#That was totally wicked!!! (2008-09-04) Ok, buy it as a Christmas present for some kid if you really want to. But why not buy it for yourself? It s utterly brilliant! It s brings out the competitive side in a really fun way and is a great reflexes game that doesn t injure anyone. Am I saying this because I beat everyone else with it? Probably. But still you will love this, it s incredibly durable and there are different ways of playing it for those that learn or use their senses differently. Now if only it had a mute button so you could play after the kids have gone to bed!
#Fun but high score set too low (2008-08-24) After reading the reviews I thought I would buy it. Whilst fun, the trouble with this game is the High Score of 250 is way too attainable. My first game I reached 117. Then 3-4 goes later I reached the 250. You can play 2 players, which enhances the longevity of the game. Would recommend you buy the Bop It Download edition as High Score is set to 1000.
#Really good fun (2008-06-15) This is a great because it has 3 different modes and it is very addictive. Apart from being addictive because it is so fun and rythmic, it is also addictive because when you have got a really high score, you will constantly try to beat it, just like I did ,). I don t know whether this is just me, but I think bopit can improve your rythmic skills because you are following the commands in time with the music. It can become annoying to others while you re playing it but this has a ear-phone plug, very convienient.
#Great fun for all...but (2008-04-11) . . . I m a big fan of this game. The children don t get a look-in. I wish though that the manufacturers had made the voice a little less triumphant when you get it wrong. I m trying to teach my children to be gracious in victory and Bop It s crowing when your dithering hands fumble to the wrong trigger yet again is not terribly helpful to my cause. I did also develop a medical condition called Bop It Hand which afflicts those who bash that Bop It button as though their life depended upon it.
#great fun for all (2008-01-15) great family game for all ages. Adults will enjoy the challenges and as this requires a sharp mind it improves concentration for kids as well as the pure enjoyment of playing a fun game. Easy to pick up and play at any time.

As you know, we are science experts. We have never placed much faith in the mystical babblings of so-called telepaths . Hard fact and empirical evidence are what we need - and this clever device gives you an awful lot of both. Quite simply, 20Q is a wonder of modern science. Using the latest AI technology it is a handheld game that guesses what you re thinking - usually in less than 20 questions (making it a great deal cleverer than some people). But it doesn t do it using basic guesswork or what others might call magic , no, it is powered by the latest in AI (artificial intelligence) technology. Here s how it works:In the best traditions of the classic yes/no parlor game, 20Q asks a series of questions and then, using the AI technology, guesses the object that the player is thinking of. It does this through a neural network of neron-like nodes, mirroring the structure of a simple human brain - no, I m not referring to you. Please don t be touchy.

#Rubbish! (2008-10-09) I was interested in buying this and saw one out for demonstration, so i thought i d test it out before i bought it. Lucky i did! I thought of a racoon and began the game. It began promising, asking sensible questions, then went totally off the point. It never got it in 20 questions and only got it on the 25 question, which i felt was a bit of a cheat. I tried again with something simple, but this time, it never got it. I was glad when the words you win came up on the screen and it turned itself off, probably because it was embarrassed! At that point, i ha...
#Family fun for a short time (2008-08-28) I got this for Christmas for the whole family to play with and it is fun and amazingly works most of the time unless you pick something really obscure. The only real problem with this is that it can grow old very quickly and within about ten minutes the 20Q will be collecting dust in the corner. Not so good if you have a short attention span.
#Get outta my mind! (2008-07-28) . . . says a bloke on the current 20Q TV advert. And yes, it appears for most of the time this little round gadget is reading my mind, as long as I m thinking simple thoughts. . . Okay, this little beastie tries to guess what someone is thinking about by asking a series of questions that can be answered by a simple yes/no/maybe. After 20 questions it tries to guess what you thought of with varying degrees of success. For example, think of cola and it might guess a can or a bottle, which to be honest isn t too far from the truth. Personally, I thi...
#Mind reader?? Er...nope! (2008-07-09) I bought the Harry Potter version of this for my son and we really enjoyed it for a while, then it kind of lost its appeal and we could outwit it most of the time. So I thought I d get this and see how we got on. The first ten items I thought of it didn t guess!! And they were pretty obvious things. . . picture frame, domino, sweetcorn, golf club etc I was trying to answer them very obviously but some of the questions it asked were pointless and we were really disapointed. I don t think the aim of this is to try to thin of things it WILL get...
#stocking filler? (2008-06-27) Quite a clever little toy! Its fun for a while and will amuse the kids but gets boring within an hour or two. Makes for a good little present for someone who likes silly thing :)
