#Great Cameras for kids (2010-09-08) We had been looking for a camera(s) for our grandchildren - 6 and 4 years old, for some time. We were pleased with the reviews read on these cameras, and decided to give them a go. We were pleased when we received them, and they were even more pleased when we gave them to our grandson and grandaughter. When not taking photos and using the special frames etc. they are playing the games!

#VTech kids digital camera (2010-08-18) This is a great product to teach your kids about digital photography. Although easy to use, it introduces kids to the art of real digital photography. It is so tough, too. My grandson dropped this from the top of the stairs to the bottom, I felt sure this would be the end of it. But when I picked it up there wasn t even a scratch on it. Show me any normal digital camera that would survive that. Brilliant. Recommend it 100%.

#Ok camera, shame about the video games (2010-08-17) The camera is ok. The picture quality isnt that great and while I appreciate it is a kid s camera, it is poor in low to medium light and even a 4 year old can recognize that. I appreciate the idea behind adding the video games but this was purchased as a camera, not a video game console with the idea to encourage photography and not video game play. For that alone, I would encourage people to buy a different product.

But, I take those age ranges as suggestions for the difficulty of building it, not for safety. As for safety, I thought a 3 year old would be pretty much fine with anything, especially as I knew my son not to put things in his mouth! #Kept busy for hours (2010-02-27) These toy story lego kits are great! Available from both the Disney Store and The Lego shop, so dont be fooled into paying collectors prices. Me and the 25 year old loved putting the model together, took about 20 minutes and is quite straightforward. The 4 year old has had great fun playing with the models, making up his own games and stories with them. He is also learning that lego comes apart and can be put together again - sometimes with different heads! So I think it is good for young children using role play and developing their fine motor skill...

#Grandma kept busy! (2010-02-16) My 4 yr old was desperate for some buzz and woody lego and loved letting Grandma construct the vehicle, a bit too fiddly for small hands. Hours of fun flying round the lounge, downside buzz helmet shield does not stay on but does not spoil the fun of the toy. Great fun for all.
