#Must have for Lego! (2009-06-18) Without a base Lego is pretty useless. It s one of the parts I feel should be bundled with the larger Lego brick boxes but isn t. If you want to build anything serious then this big green base plate is a must have. It will enable the building of many things such as houses, shuttle launchers etc and massively expands the usefulness of any Lego collection.

#Great fun but way overpriced (2008-12-27) Bit of a rip-off. Once the 10 inflated packets of bricks are unpacked, they barely come up to 2 inches inside the box. Still, plenty of bricks for lots of building ideas. Better if you can find some old Lego at car boot sales though. This price tag is more a reflection of the bucket size than the number of pieces inside.

It s a good size box if you only want the bricks, but to really be useful and creative you will need to add other Lego packs. Overall slightly disappointing.

The plate is 48 studs wide and deep giving you plenty of room to work with but if this is not enough, use another building plate placed side by side with the first to double your building potential!

#Very good item (2008-06-20) It is a very good piece of baseplate for people who has bought lots of lego parts. It is big and well built althougt a bit flex. Amazon super saver delivery tooks around 3 days from order to collection, much quiker than the time being advertised, thumb up for amazon. I ordered two pieces, each one come with a seperate big box?!?! is it really necessary?1!? should have put into one boxes to save our planet unless these two pieces were coming from different warehouse.

#GOOD but could of been better (2009-01-03) Bought this for my kids christmas to add to there now expanding lego city, it is about a 2-3hour build and is thourougly enjoyable to build but not for novice builder,looks nice when built and good value for money. . . . only bad point is the garage cant hold any of the new scale 6wide brick cars, my son finds this really annoying,as he has creator house 4954 which does hold a car in the garage. . . . Overall a nice house to add to your collection but if your only buying one house i would get lego set 4954, its more superior in every way. . ...

#EXCELLENT!!! (2008-11-27) This is a christmas present for my 9yr old daughter who has just got into lego and when I took this out of the packaging I was tempted to open it and play with it myself :O) She will love this no doubts.

#Cheap and irresistable (2009-03-30) My Lego-fanatic son has almost all of these Lego Creators Mini sets, they re great value because they have three models in one, and the durable plastic case means that you can take them anywhere, unlike the annoying cardboard boxes of the normal models, which can t be reclosed. This is my personal favourite though, because of the cute teeny car that goes onto the back of the truck. Do be aware though, that these are really fiddly, and will frustrate littler children (and some adults) who don t have the necessary dexterity.
