Enjoy a day at the races when you play this devious horse racing game. Just as in a real race meeting, players race their horses around the board to win at all costs. Be devious, bet on your own horse or someone else s, but don t tell anyone whom you ve bet on. 12 Years +

#Best. Board Game. Ever (2009-03-23) I bought this as I was looking for a new board game - something I hadn t played before and something that wasn t the normal sort of boardgame that people tend to play. Let me tell you - one game of this and you ll be hooked. It s so good I bought a 2nd copy of it to keep safe just in case I wear the original out and the company end up going bust. The basic premise is that you ve each got a horse, there are 6 races/cups with varying prize money levels and you have a choice of form (1-6) that can only be used once. There are also lane cards that...
#C MON RED !! (2009-01-19) This game was recommended to me for Christmas by a friend from work. The idea is that you each own a horse (different colours) and will enter it into 6 races. The winner is the player with the most money at the end. You get awarded prize money if your horse wins a round. . . The beauty of the game is that you are allowed to bet on any horse on the board and keep it a secret until the end of the round which can make you more money! (You always get a vain one though who invariably bets on their own horse :) )The game isn t called really nasty for nothing...
#Destined to be a classic (2008-07-22) Destined to be a classic? For many it already is. I ve been playing this for nearly twenty years now and it never disappoints. It s certainly not a quick game but accompanied with wine and a decent lunch it will easily keep 6 adults entertained for the best part of an evening. Newcomers to the game probably find it a little slow at first, the rules can appear complex (although they re soon grasped) but it takes a while to build up a sense of the strategy required to win big, not least because regular players know to hang back with their nast...
#Played once and now definitely in my top 5 games. (2008-03-01) This is a simple game to learn but has real depth. The balance of random chance and skill is exactly right, and tactics, psychology and bluff all play a part. A major aspect is that the prize money can take second place to what you stand to win by betting on someone else. Watch your opponents faces as you make your own horse fall at the last fence after seeming an easy winner. Most of all, it s FUN FUN FUN!Six pencils and solid pieces would have been better, but this is a game we will be playing a lot.
#My kids love this game. (2008-01-14) I bought this game at Christmas and we have played it as a family three times now. The first time involved a lot of looking at the rules but we completed it after 2 hours. Subsequent games have taken just over an hour. I recommend the game because everyone is involved from the start to the end. No-one has to drop out at any point in the game. True it can cause your nearest and dearest to nobble you and my youngest can get quite upset when he falls at the last. I prefer this game to Monopoly which goes on too long and can end up being played b...

If you re old enough to remember Derek Beatty, but young enough to still have your own teeth, Mr & Mrs is definitely a game for you. Based on the immensely popular 70s TV show, the game is sure-fire way to bring toil and trouble to otherwise calm relationships. The concept is as simple as its on-screen counterpart: one partner is asked questions about the other, and both must agree to score points. How often does your partner weigh themselves? will strike fear into many men s hearts, and At what age did he start shaving? is a question many women may not be able to answer accurately. Some questions are divided in man and woman, while others are suitable for all. Depending on the number of players, the host is either an individual or a team, and partners do not have to be the same gender, or even a partnership in the traditional sense: mothers and daughters can play sisters and brothers, and so on. The key, however, is that you know your partner well enough to engage in an honest appra...

#Great Family Fun (2009-03-15) Mr & Mrs is such fun, this is the test to see how well you know your partner. . . the answers each of you come out with are hilarious. We were all literally crying with laughter it did make it even more funny to have a few glasses of wine before you start so that everyone didn t take it all too serious. Great Game Great Fun. . .
#Great fun (2009-02-07) Great fun and most enlightening even after 36 years of marriage! I was sure my husband s favourite sandwich was tuna. . . . . and he said marmalade !!! Good fun with other adults but can also easily include older children - just be a bit choosy about which questions to use and which to miss out.
#Fine to play with the family (2007-11-09) This game is not bad once in a while. It offers the potential for humour not so much in the questions posed (e. g. what s your partner s favourite ice-cream), but in the sometimes heated debates that ensue (it was marvellous to see my mother haranguing my father telling him that his favourite ice-cream has always been vanilla (I know you better than you know yourself) when he insisted it was strawberry). This is about as funny as it gets. Any time you need a little light relief when you re with your family this fits the bill.
#Good clean Adult Fun (2003-12-30) Unexpected guests? Power cut? Has the rain spoiled your BBQ ? or do you just need a fun game to play with friends. Then this is the game for you. Not only is it good fun, but you really do get to know how well that friend or loved one really does know you. Take it with you on that caravan holiday in case it rains. You can even play this with the Mother in LawGive it a go,
#Not just for couples, great for friends (2003-10-31) We bought this game to play with our youth group and have not been disappointed. Although couples tend to know each other better and therefore win the game, as long as you choose your questions carefully, pairs of friends can also play and enjoy the challenge. We have had some good evenings of entertainment from this game.

Ask the audience what they think of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Junior, and the answer certainly won t be 50-50. They ll love it. This is the Junior version of the hit television game show, Who Wants to be a Millionaire? It s aimed at 8 to 12 year olds and is suitable for 2-5 players. Players take turns to act as question master while the others try to win more and more money by answering fun questions. Players use their own hand-held display modules containing the questions and the object of the game is to be the first player to win a million pounds, or to be the wealthiest player after a pre-determined number of rounds. As on television, if a player gets stuck for an answer, lifelines can be used-50-50 (the question master deletes two incorrect answers and the player chooses one from the remainder), Ask the Audience (other players show what they think the answer is--hopefully), and, of course, you can still Phone a Friend. (telephone not included) This is a perfect introduction to...

#Who wants to be a millionaire without the money? (2001-08-09) I bought this for the family having 2 boys aged 9 and 12. The early questions were very easy and only started becoming tricky without help after £64000. The ask the audience was a good feature and the phone a friend was very exciting ringing relatives and friends which led to good discussions about knowledge versus education!!! Brilliant game for a rainy day in the Summer. Curiosly the boys were happy to know they would have been a millionaire if they had played on the TV - they didn t need the money.

#A Great Game Based On A Great TV Show! (2004-01-16) When the hit TV show Who Want s To Be A Millionaire first came to our screens it immediately became a huge hit and it was that which inspired this game. It s basically exactly the same as it is on TV. You pick a question master/ Chris Tarant and then it s just up to you to answer the questions correctly and win the £100,000,0 jackpot. This Junior version is especially neat because it is designed for the kids so they don t have to miss out on all the fun. A great game based on a great TV show and if you buy this i guarantee th...
#Do You want to be a Millionaire? (2003-12-27) This game is reasonably good fun, and can be played in the same way as the TV gameshow or in an alternative method for up to four players as described in the box. The alternative method is confusing and not very well explained, however, and many people will ignore it. Because the game isn t intended to be used like the TV gameshow, however, Ask the Audience figures and 50:50 eliminated choices aren t included, which makes the game a lot less worthwhile than it otherwise might be. With so much Millionaire merchandise as well as the TV g...

#An excellent CD! (2003-11-03) This has got to be one of the best soundtracks of any TV show. Millionaire is a very popular show and if you are a fan (particularly with its music) it is an excellent score, and it is exceptionally good value at the price you pay. My favourite tracks are Opening Titles and Walk Down , and the win tracks. Also the 2 extra tracks (the radio edit and club mix) are really good songs. I would recommend this CD to anyone. Playing the game at home with the CD is great fun, the music is so atmospheric. Definitely 10 out of 10 if you ask me.
#Excellent CD (2003-01-09) No other TV show has ever done this, releasing their incidental music out into the public domain. Millionaire won viewing audiences not seen since the 1980s and also opened up marketing avenues in other countries. It also rewrote the quiz show model. This CD captures the full (ish) range of music output on Millionaire UK and is clean which means you can hear it in full without all that clapping. However, I forsee a problem when playing the game. Due to the way the tracks are arranged (and CD players work) you ll never get that smooth transition from tune...
#Not perfect - but approaching it! (2000-12-13) I d agree with our Polish friend s review - excellent, except for the odd missing track (along with 2 or 3 that I ve NEVER heard on the show - the ",Explain. . . ", ones - I reckon our American cousins maybe need things explained to them more often than we do in the UK!)The 2 most annoying things though are firstly that the Opening Titles & Walk Down track is the extended version - not the one broadcast on the UK show. Secondly - the ",lose", tracks appear between the ",Final Answer", & ",Win", tracks, me...
#Great CD (2000-11-02) I m the fan of Polish version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. I love this show, so I ve bought the CD. It contains really good stuff, but it could be more of it. First there is no 100-1000 win and lose beeps. Then, there is no ",Correct order", cue. Third - the Let s Play and Final Answer? cues should be longer. . . at least one minute long each. Fourth. . . The theme between ",Time s up", and ",Closing Theme", that we can hear in the background in the show is missing. Fifth. . . when host gives a check to contestant the music t...
#Wonderful CD for any Millionaire fan (2000-08-26) This CD is perhaps one of the best soundtracks to any TV show. No game show in the history of the U. S. or the U. K. has ever realesed a score like this. It has every single musical cue. . . including some twice. My favorite tracks include ",Explain the Knockout Game", and ",1,000,000 Win",. ",Explain the Knockout Game", is never heard in its entirety, and it is an awesome peice. . . over two minutes long. We hear, at most, 10 seconds on the show. All of the question cues are amazingly long and great...
