#Great lock, shame about the bracket (2008-10-01) To agree entirely with the existing reviews, the bracket is useless. Not only too weak as previously mentioned, but if you have a smallish frame bike (mine is 17) and a bottle cage, it won t fit inside the frame anyway. However, the lock itself is brilliant, very sturdy and the mechanism works superbly (mine is over a year old and used in all weather). Someone has already attempted to have a go at mine and failed, all they did was get through the rubber. Would definately recommend this product if you don t care about using the bracket...
#Next to useless bracket (2008-07-29) This lock is strong and sturdy. Why then, would the people at Onguard think it appropriate to create a bracket that is about as strong as a chocolate teapot?! defined as a Multi position bracket it is basically a piece of nylon strapping that is difficult to fit, and loosens gradually under the weight of the lock. i am currently looking to buy a new bracket.
#Defective Bike Clip tarnishes an otherwise good lock (2008-06-25) I just received this this morning, but am returning it for a replacement due to a defective lock holder. You rarely see the actual means used to clip the lock onto the bike, as it s inside the packaging. In this case, it s a plastic bracket that fastens on using a rubber-coated tough material band. The lock slides into the clip, which in turn holds it on the bike. In this case, however, the lock fits so tightly into the bracket that it s impossible to take it out again without much force, or a hammer. So - be warne...
#Very tough (2008-02-16) bought this after a thief chewed through 3 cheaper locks. . its heavy and feels extremely robust, comes with a decent number of keys (not amenable to the bic trick ), and i think it has a good deterrent appearance. could be a bit longer - usually need a secondary lock to secure front wheel. only annoyance is the cheap and nasty plastic bracket - just not up to the job of supporting a heavy lock! I had to repair it after just 2 weeks with some home made velcro tape. . . . for this problem i give it 4 stars not 5

#Not the best out there (2009-05-11) The lock was difficult to uncoil so I had a hard time wrapping it around the frame and tires. My bike was recently stolen due to the fact that someone cut through this lock. If you are keeping your bike in a highly trafficed area overnight, I highly recommend NOT buying this lock. Someone easily cut through my lock.
#Good, but not the best (2008-11-19) I owned it for at least a month now. So far, I like the lock very much. It is long enough to attach your front wheel, body, rear wheel to a bar for bicycle storage. So, there won t be any incident of you coming back for your bike and found out that your front wheel is missing and vice versa. It s either your bicycle is safe, or it is gone. Of course, it is not the best lock available. The head is made of tough plastic. I think unless you really give the effort of knocking it hardly with a very large hammer or something similar, it won t break....
#Quite a poor product! (2008-08-07) This is quite possibly one of the poorest locks you could spend your money on. Even though it is really cheap in comparison to other locks it barely lasted me 3 weeks without having it fall apart. Firstly the plastic material covering the lock itself looks and feels excessively cheap and the bit surrounding the lock fell off within the first few weeks. Next to go was another bit of plastic surrounding the metal wedge that gets inserted into the lock. And finally the materials used in the lock itself have worn out making it difficult to secure t...

#Solid but cumbersome (2009-06-15) I bought this mainly for added security. Great product but a bit clumsey and cumbersome. Also too large to fit on a 20/26 frame of a mountain bike with the bracket they provide with product to allow you to attach onto the bike. Also pretty heavy, but can t beat the security.
#Good solid lock (2009-06-10) Good solid lock for the money, although I haven t worked out how to put the other bit on the bike yet.
#Solid Lock But Too Big (2009-06-02) I purchased this lock for my new bike but unfortunately the lock is far to big to mount on my bike without removing the water bottle cage. I have therfore resigned the lock to securing my bike at home or only if im going somewhere that means I will be carrying a rucksack aswell.
#Good Value (2009-04-29) Took a while to choose a lock, but after reading some reviews over the internet, one of them comparing time to break the lock with a power tool, I chose the Magnum because it is the best for the budget. It was not put to test yet but in fact what I want is try to avoid that. :) Good purchase!
#A little bulky (2009-04-11) The lock itself seems very secure however the mounting are very bulky, so much so i couldnt place them on my bike!
