#Excellent quality and good protection (2009-07-02) This bag is excellent, with it s numerous pockets to store stuff to the internal bag for the laptop. Conferable to carry too, even when fully loaded. Would recommend and buy another bag just like this.
#Bag is Not water proof and the cause identified. (2009-07-01) The design of this bag is very well thought out and very versatile. Targus do talk about their quality, durability, warranties etc and of course the excellent reviews on Amazon, therefore I was very surprised to find out that it is in fact NOT rain proof (soggy documents being the clue!) The material separating the two main compartments does not have an inner lining. In fact he outside side pockets also do not have this lining - however the inner lining is used everywhere else - quite why Targus have omitted the lining...
#No need to look elsewhere - this laptop backpack is a winner! (2009-05-23) Agree with previous reviews. I ve had this backpack for about 6 months now and use it everyday and it shows no sign of wear & tear - most importantly neither does my macbook. Comfortable straps, excellent padding & good size without being bulky or obvious that you are carrying a laptop. I also really like the rubber carrying handle for when you aren t slinging it over your back. The separate laptop sleeve is great quality too. Highly recommended!
#Does the job if it s not raining! (2009-05-17) Sturdy bag, comfortable to wear, not water-proof though so if it s pouring and you forgot your umbrella it s going to soak through. However, since the laptop bag is a standalone case that just sits in the bag you may find that your books and stuff will get wet but not the laptop. Couldn t say because I haven t been caught in heavy rain yet!Only other small gripe I have is I prefer laptop bags to be more rigid, this bag is a bit more floppy like a school bag. Also it s not as big as some laptop bags you ll see. This bag would hold your...
#Great purchase (2009-04-11) Item is great,my husband is using it for his laptop/books whenever he travels abroad, must say is classic yet fashionable design and makes it very easy to wear. You wont find this quality for the same price.

#Amazing (2009-06-30) Perfect for Hiking, Biking or anything really, its really light and comfortable and has a little zip up pocket inside for a choccy bar or 2 :]
#Money well spent! (2009-06-09) did the c2c ride recently over the course of 2 days, 144 miles in pouring rain and a head wind. This little beauty kept me going, load of water in there and still had space for a rolled up waterproof. . . . not that it was in there for very long! You ll not get much storage space in these, but for the price, it s well worth it.

#good product (2009-06-24) I wanted it as I own Dell XPS 17 M1730 laptop - which needs a big and robust backpack. Sadly this bag is hardly fitting it making the computer corners a bit vulnerable for being hit. In all other aspects (materials, manufacturing, smart ideas etc. ) - the bag is perfect and worth every single penny.
#happy hubby (2009-06-16) Bought for my husband as he started new job in London, he brings home a big laptop and extra work, he is very pleased with all the pockets, enough for. . . laptop, files, lunch, newspaper etc. also a place for his ipod!
#well constructed & capacious (2009-06-15) Accepted on flights as hand luggage. Robustly built and comfortable to carry in hot weather, even when fully loaded. Its capacity is greater than its appearance would suggest, better than many overnight bags. The laptop section has additionally padding. It has a good structure which helps it stand upright when taken off.
#Pleased with this product (2009-06-10) This is possibly one of the best Laptop bags I have purchased. It has enough room and compartments in it to not only hold my Laptop, but a load of extra kit as well. A really good buy.
#Top Draw Techy Luggage (2009-06-02) This backpack is a quality bit of kit. Not only a good back pack, with comfortable straps and feel, with enough space to store a substantial amount of stuff. It is also a great place for your laptop, with more than sufficient padding to keep it safe and room to spare even with my 17-inch widescreen in the pocket, plus the velcro strap to hold it in gives you piece of mind. Great purchase!

#Good gear (2009-06-07) I researched a lot of Rucksacks before deciding on this one. This Rucksack is exactly what I wanted. Excellent value for the short 3 day trip I had planned. The Rucksack performed well and all the Straps, zips and compartments worked as required. If you are planning a long trek or trip, I feel it might be worth investing in a Rucksack with a more structured harness/padding system.

This is the Mini Trekker by Lowepro, a function packed bag.

#Strong & roomy camera bag (2009-05-07) Well constructed and plenty of space. Easily takes my Canon 40D with a 150-500 mm zoom attached plus room for a 180 mm macro and a general purpose lens (28-135). Also pockets for spare batteries, filters, etc. Can even fit a mini tripod inside. Handy top carrying handle, even has lifting handles for other people to pick you up when you fall over under the weight of all that camera gear!
#Mini Trekker Photo Backpack (2009-03-04) This backpack is just the right size for a camera body and three lenses. It is also about right to go as hand luggage.
#big and stong (2008-12-07) I got this two years ago and have been very happy with it ever since. I considered some other types but this seemed the right size for what I needed and the rucksack style was more practical than the Reporter ones. Build quality is very good. The main compartment (which can be changed around with the velcro dividers) has enough space for two SLR cameras (one of them is a big Nikon D2x) with mid-zoom lenses on, plus a 50mm, two tele-zooms, two flashguns, a flash meter, batteries and various cables! The three transparent pockets in the lid are very handy f...
#Fine (2008-11-18) Great backpack, can carry many different lenses and has waterproof cover. can fit a lot of stuff in here.
#High quality backpack with a few niggles (2008-08-23) Little more I can add to the already excellent reviews (thanks by the way to the authors of those who helped in my decision to purchase). To begin, I viewed the slingshot range and the Tamracs at a local store. Both excellent, but the Slingshot is woefully too small for anything but one big body and lens without breaking down your kit. Tamrac expedition were far too heavy as a day pack compared to the Lowepro offerings and suited to more adverse environments. The mini trekker however is light, well made and affords a sensibl...
