#folding mat (2009-05-28) This folding mat is a bit too soft for my needs, which are Pilates and Yoga. I do have a particular problem with osteo arthritis in my feet, so the thickness and softness, which may suit others, was not comfortable for me.

#Great buy for pain sufferers! (2009-05-16) I have M. E. and a back problem and have previously tried doing gentle yoga and back stretches on a normal yoga mat but have been unable to do them as I found it too painful. Was delighted with this mat as it really cushions your joints and am now able to do some stretches and relaxation on it without pain! Would really recommend it to anyone with with joint problems. Probably better suited to lying down or seated exercises as it is so cushioned it might make you a bit wobbly if you were doing exercises standing on it.

#Alternative Use of Mat (2009-05-01) I run classes for pre-school children called Little Kicks. I purchased two mats for the children to sit on in between activities. The children think the colours are cool and that the mats are comfortable. Other benefits are:The mats are slip resistant. Very important when you have children jumping on and off mats. #versatile mat (2009-04-09) I bought the mat for when I do sit ups or use a balance ball. It s a good roll up mat with a carry handle and the stickyness ensures a non slip surface and a mat without a mind of its own. I m pleased with it on the whole but it needs to be thicker by at least 1mm as the wooden floors can be felt when I do sit ups.

#Good all round mat but not very thick (2009-04-06) I bought this mat for doing pilates and on the whole I am pleased with it, especially for the price. The only thing to note is that it s not overly thick so I did notice the hard floor when doing exercises on my side. The mat rolls up and fastens with velcro so it s easy to carry. Would recommend as a good all rounder and value for money.
