#addictive ball of fun (2008-11-21) when i first had a go of this i thought oh no! another bad buy like the pucchi pucchi stashed in the back of a draw somewhere. but no! after a few goes i started to get the hang of it, that was it then i was hooked. make sure you get the one with the counter so you can see how fast you can spin it then you will try your best to better your last score. anyway be careful because you will suffer the next day. ive tryed various exercise equipment over the years and never felt forearm burn like this before. addictive and great exercise for the arms....
#Very nice indeed. (2008-11-20) I bought this a few weeks ago after stumbling upon it and reading all the positive reviews. I have to say I was a little skeptical at first, but I have become a big fan. Already in a few weeks of use I feel a big difference in arm strength and my mild pains from working on computers all day have all but disappeared. And if you want the Kung-Fu grip, this is the thing for you. Getting it to spin really isnt that hard, I had it down after a few attempts after watching videos on Youtube and once you get it to spin, it is kind of like riding a bike, it ...
#what a ball I m having (2008-10-28) after I managed to get the ball rolling so to speak (it takes a while but stick with it) it s great fun I use it because I have been suffering from mild RSI I type and write a lot . . it has done wonders for my wrist and as suggested in the blurb it does build up strength . As I mentioned it does take a while to get things going but once you have it s like riding a bike no matter how long a space of time you leave in between using it you can then pick it up and off you go again . I highly recommend one
#Great fun, strengthens forearms rapidly! (2008-10-20) I bought a powerball two weeks ago and have used it for 15-30 minutes almost every day since. Not only is is fun and relaxing, it is an incredible tool for developing your wrists and forearms. I now type faster, grip better and have gained a lot of dexterity and strength in my hands. I feel myself improving and have went from a max. of 8000 rpm to 10000 rpm already. It s a lot of fun trying to beat your high score! You can end up pulling some very funny faces in the attempt. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who use...
#Over rated (2008-10-09) Hard to get the hang of using and when you do I don t feel it that effective. Very over rated

Powerball is a dynamic and completely revolutionary new gyroscope that literally explodes with mind numbing torque and inertia once you activate its internal rotor. It s about the same size as a tennis ball and weighs just a little more, but take a Powerball in your hand, set that rotor in motion with the cord provided (or use your finger when you get used to it) and you ll experience an extraordinary sensation:Power ball slowly comes alive with gyroscopic force - a sublime yet pleasant resistance to your movement which is transmitted directly into your wrist and arms and which provides soothing, non impact rehabilitation at these lower speeds.

#Power Ball (2008-11-20) Can become quite addictive, you will get lost of glances from strangers, but once they see what it is, then you can be assured they want one aswell
#The best choice of Powerball to go for: 250Hz Pro (2008-11-11) There are a lot of Powerballs to choose from, if you re undecided then go for this one. It has the digital display which is a must-have, and none of the other gimmicks the other Powerballs have that only serve to slow the ball down. Starting the ball can be awkward with the lace, but after a while you will be able to do this with your hand and bin the lace - at this point the Powerball is a lot more fun and accessible. It will take a few days to learn the proper technique of spinning the ball - persevere at this because...
#Definetly a good buy... (2008-10-13) Im not sure what made me buy this, probably the cheap price and the fact that if it broke or was rubbish £12 wasnt a great loss, but no what a buy it was!!!!Took it out the box and literally took it for a spin and thought this isnt particularly intense and then BAM your whole arm, not just your hand, not just your wrist but the whole arm is feeling a really decent workout. (and i only reached 5,000rpm on the first go :/)Its great just to walk around the house with it, twirling it around or sitting down at a desk reading or even just watching tv. I ...
#I finally got the hang of it... (2008-06-25) When I received this item I was excited to get it out of the box and to see what all the fuss was about. You can imagine my disappointment then when I couldn t get it working. Fortunately, as with most things, a little perseverence paid off and I finally got the gyroscope buzzing along. I bought this to use as described to help protect against injuries such as RSI as I like to to many crafts that can cause my hands to ache and cramp. Having only used the powerball for a short while I can t say for certain how effective it will be to ...
#Powerball? (where is the power)? (2008-06-02) I bought one of these for a parent recovering from wrist surgery, motivated by the claims that this was just the job to help him regain the use of his hand. After several attempts by him and other family members, we found the thing ran out of steam after 5 seconds. The idea of using fingers to achieve the blistering RPM, let alone the other claims was a total non starter. This was returned to the manufacturer and a replacement given. (After all 20+ positive reviews can t be bad). Sadly, the replacement was as bad as the 1st one. N...

Dynamic, exquisite, absolutely gorgeous! The extraordinary new Powerball Signature, with its sapphire white light neon rotor revolving within a subtly smoked shell, is truly a design classic and will exceed the very highest expectations of Powerball fans all over the world. We are talking silky smooth movement here!Put its rotor in motion, and the ball instantly comes alive with Gyroscopic force - a sublime yet pleasant resistance to the movement of your wrist and hand, and one which grows in its intensity as the speed of the rotor builds...faster and faster...up to a point where it is thrashing and jerking furiously, literally exploding with inertia and almost impossible to control! This limited edition gyroscope has a top speed in excess of 16,000rpm and can generate over 40lbs of resistance on the hands and arms as it spins (which is quite extraordinary given that it is just the size of a tennis ball and weighs under 300grams!).

#Pretty good for the price, not a gimmick like i thought (2008-09-19) This powerball is actually pretty cool, it does excercise your forearm and definately your hand to some extent although i remain skeptical as to it being able to excercise the bicep and pectoral muscles (as shown in the little minidisc that accompanies this powerball version), this along with some captains of crush grippers will definately help improve hand strength. I originally thought this was another gimmicky fitness thing of which there are so many. . . but i think i was wrong this time, its definately got its ...
#It works, it lights up but its boring (2008-09-19) Far too much marketing hype, it is well made, it has a nice weight and it is clever. After a couple of attemps I made it spin OK and light up and it certainly look pretty but after a few days and a few attempts its just very boring. Sure with practice I could get it to spin faster much faster but you look like a nerd to anyone else. Of course it makes your wrists ache, I have no doubt it will improve hand and wrist strength but I think it has a short span of interest. Sorry to say that if you a PowerBall enthusiast but thats jus...
#Powerball Pro Signature (2008-07-24) When i read about the Powerball and watched a few of the videos i couldn t wait to receive it. In truth the gimmick of it does wear off after a few goes, and you will be surprised how many of your friends will have trouble getting it to do anything! I find that amongst the guys at a party it can be a good laugh for a few minutes as everyone tries to outdo one another. I think that your money could be better spent elsewhere if you intend on using this as a strength builder and as part of an exercise routine i m sceptical about the benefits. ...
#Awesomely addictive (2008-07-17) I can t begin to say how great this product is, it has so many different techniques for building up wrist strength, bicep strength, pectoral strength and the health benefits like RSI. I tried it out for so long when I got it I took a bit of skin off of my finger! but stuck a plaster on and in the first hour and a half I reached a speed of 10131. If you stick at it when you recieve it you will easily get the technique wrist movement and will be able to start it spinning with your thumb. You get 3 starter strings so that should last you until you get the ...
#Cool (2008-07-12) I bought this product a few days ago to see what all the fuss was about. It s quite fun once you become proficient at starting the ball every time. The initial attempts often result in a few stallings but now using it after a few days, the muscles in my arms seemed to have become harder. Without doubt, a purchase I am proud of!

A leather carry case to keep your shiny new Powerball safe and dust free. The perfect accessory for your Powerball!

#Fits nicely (2008-09-11) If you have a powerball then you probably want to protect it from dust and other particles that might make your powerball work less then optimally. This case is initially a tight fit, but will loosen a little over time.
#More than just a tight fit! (2008-03-13) I m afraid I might have been unlucky with the particular case I got but it did not fit the powerball at all so was therefore completely useless. Thankfully it was not too expensive but it s still a waste of money.
#Powerball leather case (2007-12-20) This is the perfect little case to store your powerball in as you transport it about, or even just to house it in safely. It protects it from minor knocks and scrapes and more importantly prevents dust from getting into the mechanism and slowing the rotor down. It is a tight fit at first, but soon stretches out and fits your powerball very snugly. A minor outlay to protect your prized powerball.
#The NSD Powerball Protective Case (2007-06-12) A must have if you carry your powerball in the car or towork. It helps keep the dust out of it, and means you don t have to take it apart for cleaning etc. Worth every penny!

#great value (2008-10-16) i dont think u ll find any better weights for the same price, i bought them probably 3 months ago, admittedly i dont use them as much as id like to but they are really well made and you do get alot for your money. highly recommended for people like me who arnt serious body builders lol. unlike the guy hu left the other comment didnt find the grips too uncomfortable but they are quite rough, enjoy! :)
#Exactly what I was looking for! (2008-09-21) These weights are perfect for the non-pro. The spinlock collars are a good fit and have a rubber washer to stop the weights making a noise when in use. The case is heavy duty, but will only really be used when transporting the weights, i. e. not very often. The bars are very rough, so invest in a pair of weightlifting gloves, or a pair of woolen gloves. The weights are quite small, too. Much smaller than York s sand-filled ones, so they are much easier to handle - you can do tricep exercises without hitting your back. Very handy. As an...
#Great for only £24.99 (2008-06-30) Went for this as it is arround half the price of most of the other sets. I purchased it Friday night and it arrived on Monday. So it looks like Amazon have fixed their problem sourcing the weights. The metal bar is abrasive on bare hands (probably quite good if you use gloves though). However, this was quickly solved using a few layers of clingfilm as suggested by Raj B earlier on. All in all. A good purchase!
#Good Non-Pro Set To Own (2008-06-23) I agree with the last reviewer that these 2*10KG dumbells are good value for 25 pounds. Also, on the fact that the spinlock bars included have a very rough surface that irritate your hands, since i had no ambitions of deveoping huge calluses or blisters on my palms i covered the roungh surface with a few layers of cellophane (cling film), which seems to alleviate most of the irritation. The excersize wall chart provides a good number of workouts for several body areas, however you do need a bench for some. As for late deliveries i got mine within ...
#20KG Dumbbells (2008-05-25) Annoyed now!! I bought these whilst they were £35 and I thought that that was a good deal. One week on and it s been reduced to £24. Great price, and a free shipping option too, with this, it does however take an age to turn up at your front door. Also Thought I d mention that the metallic, rough bars do iritate your palms for the first few days also, but the rest is all good!Rob
