#Second hand knowledge (2009-07-01) I bought this as a present. It was delivered very speedily, and the recipient was thrilled. Seeds started sprouting within days. Was tempted to buy one for myself but I thought that would be a bit over-the-top as I have half an acre of garden. From what recipient says, if you ve only got a window sill/box, go for it!

#Prolific Planter ... (2009-05-16) I was initially slightly concerned when this planter arrived because my windows face to the East and West and I was worried there would be insufficient sunlight for the plants to grow. I needn t have worried - if anything it s probably just as well I don t have direct sunlight - otherwise I d now be living in Wild Kingdom. The first signs of growth popped through the soil before the first week had run and, now a month into the growth, my Kitchen window sill has what looks like a very healthy stir-fry crop blossoming up and out of the box.
