#Great value (2009-02-05) This is great value (at least £20 dearer in the shops). Bought them for my husband who cycles to work in all weathers and also goes hillwalking. Superb quality and do what they say on the tin. Although they are mens the cardboard insert from Berghaus said they were ladies. I ordered a size L waist and M leg length and my husband says they fit him fine so don t know if the insert was a mistake. He s 12 1/2 stone and 5 11.

#Great performance (2008-11-18) I have used a pair of these for the past year and have been very impressed with the water repelancy, breathability and most of all the weight! Thay are so light you just don t know you are wearing them, especially compared to old style rain pants. Being able to easily put them on and take them off over boots, due to the full length zips, is brilliant. Just be a bit careful not to snag the zips as I have done once or twice. I hold my thumb against the material as I zip which seems to ensure no snags. Fantastic for golf as well as hiking!

#Lightweight packable waterproof trousers (2009-04-21) The Berghaus Paclite Pants are an excellent piece of kit. They take mimimal space and weight in your rucksac, are easy to get on and off thanks to full length zips, are very breathable and waterproof. On the downside, they are little more expensive than some rivals and they have no access to pockets (I expect that this is to keep the weight down). Overall if you want a light weight trouser this is the one to go for.
