#Solar Welcome Door Light (2009-06-17) Solar Welcome Door Light This is a very useful light. Not overly bright but just enough. Easy to install, no wires, up and running in no time.
#Works really well (2009-05-13) Bought one of these last year, only got round to putting it up in January. It only gets direct sunlight for a short time in the mornings and despite not much winter sun it worked well then - and it s just as good now. Really cannot fault it. Oh, except for the usual thing with packaged fittings: I throw away the screws and use decent ones. Easy to fit, lockable so it shouldn t get pinched, and it lights up the house number & door lock perfectly with a nice, slightly blue-white light. Best of all, no electrician required. It s a shame some others haven ...
#Great product (2009-03-21) Really good product. The light produces enough illumination to light the whole of my front door area and all without any wiring. Only down side is the translation of the instructions into English which are very poor but also very funny!
#Smoking Lounge Comforter! (2009-03-15) Solar Welcome Door LightMy wife smokes - outside the house - this light gives a comforting glow at night that lasts. Unlike other PIR lamps we have it stays lit as long as required as it only needs slight movement. It was a cinch to put up - just 2 screws. As long as it has an uninterrupted view of the sky, even a sunless day charges the battery sufficiently for our needs. It seems completely rainproof. I witheld one star because it is quite bulky and would not fit where I had originally intended and the key that locks it on its frame is a...
#Solar light (2009-03-11) Received very promptly, despite going for the cheap delivery option. Piece of cake to install,-just two screws/wallplugs,depending on the location. Sits nicely above my garage door, fulfilling two purposes,(a) a welcome light when you drive up to the garage, and (b) as a security feature, should there be anyone unauthorised in the area. So far,it seems to be working perfectly, and getting enough light to remain charged, despite the inclement weather lately. Only downside,as far as I can tell,(it may just be an irregularity with my particular unit)is that it is a so...

#these are the best!!! (2009-05-25) I got 2 sets of these lights 3 years ago. they are still working briliantly. I (foolishly) got another couple of light sets from Argos - thinking they d all be the same . . . . . . . . . . . . they are certainly not. These are already rusting and fading and I ve only had them a month. I am now looking for 2 new sets of the Micromark!!!!!!!!!! buy cheap, pay twice!!!!!!!!
#Micromark lights (2009-05-04) One doesn t expect miracles from solar lighting - often they can be dimly disappointing and short lived in the evening. These, however, are excellent and in May charge enough in a shady garden to last until 1-2am. Definately would recommend them. You need to be able to disguise the wiring if using in a confined area as 1 metre between bulbs is a lot and it is green so stands out on bare walls. If used as a long string then ideal.
#Pretty good (2009-04-27) After reading the two previous reviews I decided to order these lights. They arrived Saturday, two days from date of order. It was a lovely sunny day, but even so I moved the solar panel around all day to get the best sun. At dusk they lit up, a lovely bright blue. The next day I didn t move the panel around, but it still got about four hours of direct sun. When I got up early the following day, about 5am I was surprised to see them still on, so the charge they got must have lasted for about 8 to 9 hours. A good buy. I will probably order more.
#Great Solar Lights. (2008-11-04) I bought this set of solar garden lights after reading the first review. I was tempted to buy a larger set of lights, but I wanted lights which would be nice and bright, so after reading the review I bought the Micromark 70199 / Solar Powered LED Garden Light Kit. The solar panel is approx 13cm x 6cm so it s a good size, it can be either screwed onto fencing or use the peg supplied to have the panel at ground level. There s 1. 4m of cable from solar panel to first light, and 1m of cable between each light. The 20 lights are a very pretty blue, there ...
#Best and brightest solar string (2008-07-05) I actually bought this product 2 years ago (I think) from a diy superstore and had draped the lights in in a tree. I d had no problems apart from it started flickering/turning off and I found out the batteries had rusted inside, so I cleaned up the battery connections and replaced the batteries and it worked perfectly again. This year I decided to get some more lights and originally couldn t find this product so tried 2 other solar string products (not from Micromark). The first rusted round the bulbs within days and the second just wasn t...

#Very good value (2009-07-02) This is a neat little torch. I used it for getting round a festival campsite at night. It s reasurring to know that you won t be caught short by batteries. It has a handy chord so you can hang it from the inside of your tent. If you have a nokia phone it will even serve as a charger!I take one star off as I think this could be a bit brighter (the light dims a notch as soon as you stop winding). Very good value though.
#Windup torch (2009-06-10) We are going camping and I leave this torch in my car as well in case of emergencies. Simple design and easy to use.
#gelert torch (2009-05-22) bought this little torch for when we go camping, it s easy to use and I don t have to worry about batteries. The torch works well and although it is small it s OK in a tent when it s pitch black. If you want lots of light though go for a bigger torch.
#very handy (2009-05-21) Torch is very good though quite small , ideal for going to the toilets at night and hardly takes up any room in your luggage.
#Torch is ok (2009-05-17) I have purchased different wind up torches from Amazon and find this not the best one available on the website. But not a bad torch it s ok.

#Save your money (2009-06-28) If you want to spend your evenings winding up a torch that stays light for approx 2mins then this is the light for you. I wouldnt recommend this light It works ok on the lowest LED setting but is rubbish on the higher LED settings.
#Does what it say s on the box (2009-04-23) Wind it up and off you go. Spot on. Can be charged via a 6v charger as well if you wish. Great product.
#Less light than a candle (2009-01-15) Bought this and although it s a great idea, even with it at the highest setting, it gives off less light than a candle. I live in the wilds and thought it would be handy for when I take the bin out to the roadway. There are no street lights where I live. It wasn t much use and I couldnt see where I was going. OK inside a tent but doesnt throw out enough light to see a path in the dark.
#Cheap, cheerful & reliable (2008-09-27) WIND UP CAMPING LANTERN/ DELUX/ NO BATTERIES REQUIRED Bought this lamp as a cheap, battery free alternative for camping. I had my doubts before it arrived due to the somewhat mixed reviews that it has received. However, I try to always be as objective as possible but I cannot honestly fault this device. I wound it for one minute as instructed and the lamp delivers ample lighting in very dark areas without fading for at least one hour. Of course, it does not have the brightness of battery powered lanterns but the light output would be...
#Pretty poor (2008-08-31) Dim light after a couple of minutes and the handle broke on about the sixth wind. Don t bother.
