#My first desert island selection (2008-08-17) My first Humphrey Lyttelton 10 inch LP aquired in the mid fifties contained the tune Trouble in Mind and I still consider this the best rendition I ve ever heard. I stil get goose pimples when I hear Humphs muted trumpet, he was a master and the 3 CD s just confirm the fact. Highly recommended as a memory of a great trumpeter.

I first heard about Humph from a documentary on the Brecon Jazz festival and i ended up wanting to hear more.
