The interior of kettles remain virtually lime free (I live in a hard water area) after significant use. The descaling process for our auto coffee machine produces no scale residues at all in the waste water. Overall an excellent product and very worthwhile.

#Kenwood CH180 Mini Chopper. (2010-09-02) The Kenwood CH180 mini food chopper was featured in the BBC Good Food Magazine as a best buy. It chops food quickly and effortlessly and is easy to clean. Because it is small and compact it can be stored easily. And the best bit was on amazon, it was nearly £7 cheaper than it was advertised. I think it excellent value and a great piece of kitchen equipment that will suit all.

#Excellent But Extra Work Needed (2010-09-09) I have just got the anysharp sharpener - It s described as a method of 4 strokes to sharpen any knife. However, the truth is: It will sharpen any knife that has already been sharpened by only 4 strokes. If you need to sharpen a knife from the beginning, you have to re-profile the knife - that will take more than 4 strokes - you will have to profile the angle of the knife according to your wrist movement and sharpen it from there - once you do, it will be easy to keep the knife sharp because the Anysharp does work well.

#a handy little icing set (2010-08-31) I bought this icing set for decorating a three tier wedding cake. I have been the old type of decorator in that I have used greaseproof paper cones for years as that was the way I was first taught when learning cake decorating.
