One of the screw fixings was a little difficult to put together, I suspect some of the paint had got into the screw area, but with a little fiddling I managed to connect the pieces together

#Absolutely brilliant!!! (2009-04-12) We bought this for our daughter s 15th birthday as she loves making cakes. She s made even more since then and they look fantastic. The only problem is the cakes don t last long enough because they look so great on the brilliant stand! Loads of people have asked me where I got it from and I ve told them all! Don t hesitate in purchasing this, I m positive you will not be disappointed.

#quite goodlooking (2009-04-01) i wasnt too sure about this product when i saw it on amazon. i was caught btw buying the wilton brand which was more expensive and buying this one which may not be that popular. but i finally did ( bought 2 ). and when it came i was most overjoyed. firstly the packaging was superb,and then the stand itself looks very good even though i am yet to start using it,i can see its strong and sturdy. quite a good buy. i know i wont regret it.

#delivery poor - stand broken (2009-05-15) am so disappointed that the stand was smashed when it was delivered. the packaging is VERY poor and i m totally unsurprised that the lower base was in pieces. was easy enough to exchange although i had to organise for DHL to come and collect it. Amazon were good at sending a new stand before the broken one was returned but when i received the second stand it was packaged in exactly the same way and, of course, was smashed again. i m now very frustrated and have asked for a refund - not sure how simple it is going to be to sort that o...

#Very nice product, but very poor packaging (2009-05-11) I was looking forward to display the food for my daughter comunnion party on this very nice plate, but when it arrived the bottom plate was chipped badly. The whole thing looked really very nice and I could picture all lovely elegant canapes on it, but the packaging was extremely poor for such item: everything loose in the box with only small sheet of cardboard between to quite heavy glass plates, not suitable for posting at all. No bubble wrap or any other protection for the glass. I`ll be looking for similar item in regular...

#Basic square cake stand (2009-05-10) We wanted a square cake stand. This is all we could find. It s not very expensive though we d pay more for better quality. We had to return the first one because of a glazing error. Amazon exchanged this without any hassel. It does the job. There s definitely a gap in the market for elegant, good quality, minimal design cake stands!

#Complaint - Ethos cake stand (2009-05-04) To whom this may concernI ordered on separate occasions two Ethos cake stands and on both occasions the cake stand arrived broken. Neither box had fragile written on it so I was not surprised when they arrived broken. Both were sent back and I was given a refund. #Doesn t fit glass dome (2008-11-27) I bought this Cake Stand together with Nigella Lawson Living Kitchen Cake Plate Cream With Glass Dome, as I thought the glass dome would fit both the stand and the plate. But alas, the dome&plate are larger than the cake stand, so you can t use the dome on the stand. But ignoring the difference in size, I would recommend both products.

#stylish, but a bit small (2008-10-13) This is a nice little cake stand, albeit not very big. If you make cakes of a large diameter this cake stand will be dwarfed. It s very stylish and makes my cakes look great.
