#Russell Hobbs salt and pepper grinders (2009-06-08) I purchased this duo because I am having increasing difficulty with my hands since arthritis moved in. I use one for black pepper and the other for mixed spices, much easier than a pestle and mortar. I find them easy to set up and use but cannot comment on the battery life as I have only had them a few weeks. Would definitely recommend them.

#salt & peppers here! (2009-06-04) After going through numerous cheap S&P pots, I was happy to purchase this product. Easy to use and hopefully will last while. I bought a different set before this, from Wilkinson for two quid and they lasted two days, before they stopped grinding at all.

#Not the very best (2009-05-08) We bought 2, one for our and one for gift. The fisrt one arrived and we used them, only in 2 weeks, the grinder was broken because it was made with plastic. I was surpriced that why the manufacurer did not use a more efficientcy material. They could have known that the grinder must be strong enough to grind the pepper corn. We sent them back to Amazon and we had the refund, Thanks Amazon. We are now using the second one which was expected to be a gift but we would think about some other product or we will see this second one, how they will be last....

#These are brilliant (2009-04-30) These mills are excellent - well made and they grind salt and pepper really well. I have purchased several, different sets by other manufacturers but these are by far the best. I highly recommend them.

#Stylish salt and pepper dispencers (2009-04-16) Great electronic salt and pepper mills, these were bought as a present for a friend they are a little bit chunky for my taste but she likes them alot,They are very smooth to operate and reasonably priced.

#Quality product (2009-06-27) This product is very well made with a solid feel. Whether you use salt or pepper in it you can very precisely direct a finely milled amount with very little effort. It uses 8 x AAA batteries which,with normal use,will last 3+ months and if you use rechargeable ones the cost is negligible. The light is of little use - in my opinion.

#Expensive, but great! (2009-05-22) This product works a treat. It produces great salt and pepper and includes a light so you can see the condiment falling on your food. Everyone who visits us thinks it is fun as well as practicle, the only slight bad point is the cost, but then the way ours are working looks like we will never buy another salt/pepper pot in our lives!!

#one of my best gadgets! (2009-05-02) I bought one as soon as I returned home after seeing it in my friend s house in belgium. It is still going strong today! It s classy and quirky! I have since bought half a dozen and gave them to friends as presents for special occasions. Everyone is delighted with it and proudly shows it off to visitors - I still do!

#Great product but a little on the dear side (2009-03-27) I bought this as a gift and it had a great impact. She loved it. The light is a nice touch and it works well. It feels sturdy and hopefully it will last a long time. The only reason why I have marked it down is for what it is I think it is on the expensive side which once you add on P&P it was around £33.

#Best Christmas Gift Idea I Had (2009-02-05) Bought this peppermill at Christmas for my gadget concious son and he is so pleased with it we have bought one for ourselves. He loves pepper with his meals which are dominated by pasta dishes (his favourite)and so was really pleased with our gift but he is still telling others about how well it works. #DISAPPOINTED (2009-06-24) I have had two sets of this product since christmas, within a month the bottom dropped out of one grinder. The set was replaced by Amazon(great serivce from them). After 4 months the button dropped off one grinder, also I have tried all 4 of the ones we have and non of them grind the pepper corns properly. We have to crush them first to get the pepper to come out at a rate we find exceptable. I love the look of these ones which is why I ordered them. My friend has the Russell Hobbs silver 12051-56 ones and they work much better(wish I had those ones). ...

#Bad Luck (2009-06-02) Grinders are very smart looking but unfortuntely the pepper mill burnt out after one use. Burning smell and I think the motor had gone. However, the salt was great, no problems. Easy to use and always have comments from friends. Fingers marks are a bit of a problem on the soft touch black. Amazon returns were fantastic and sent me a new pair within days. Happy to say both are working great!

#Salt and Pepper grinders (2009-03-13) These are lovely salt and pepper mills. Look good and grind well. The only drawbck is the button on the side often get knocked when being picked up - should have been on the top of the mill.

#I ve eventually found what really works (2009-03-12) I don t usually find something so good that I write a review. This item really works. Every part seems durable. It s also well designed, and quite versatile. This can be used to grind other dried herbs, tea leaves, etc. I ve not yet found any defect.

#A functional pepper grinder (2009-02-08) This grinder is nice to look at and handle, easy to fill because the spindle doesn t get in the way. It doesn t spill old bits of pepper out the bottom when you put it back down after use and it s great that you can vary how fine the pepper is ground.

#Good piece of kit (2009-01-08) So far! I was fed up of buying expensive metal type grinders that clapped out after awhile. A friend recommended the ceramic guts type so I bought this. First impression is excellent. I can assure you this review will be amened if it claps out, it comes with a good warranty. I now intend to buy the salt version.

#Brilliant pepper mill (2009-05-20) I purchased this after getting the matching salt mill which i was very impressed with. This is just as good and is worth every penny. The grinding mechanism works well and you can even use these mills to grind over a hot pot/pan without clogging up the mill with moisture.

#Pepper mill (2009-03-04) This is the best pepper mill I ve ever had. It looks good, but most importantly the mechanism works really well. I ve had mine for several years and it has never failed to do the job.
