This Imperia Pasta Machine is the original way of producing fantastic homemade pasta. The machine consists of two rollers that can be gradually adjusted, rolling the pasta into thinner sheets as the handle is turned. Once the correct thickness has been achieved, simply feed the pasta through the spaghetti or tagliatelle cutter and that?ÇÖs it! ,· Set includes the machine, table clamp, handle and full instructions· Additional attachments are also available for making a variety of different pasta dishes· We would advise that this item is simply wiped clean before being stored. , Do not submerge in water.

#Great pasta (2009-07-01) I had the sudden urge to make my own pasta, so i read loads of reviews on different pasta machines, the best reviews were for this machine, so i bought one. It s exactly as everyone said it would be - sturdy and well made. It s an absolute doddle making pasta using the Imperia, i would recommend it to anyone. Martin.
#Excellent!! (2009-06-17) I used my Imperia pasta machine for the first time yesterday and I was absolutely thrilled with the results. I make fresh pasta fairly frequently and having struggled with just elbow grease and a rolling pin for quite some time I felt that it was time to invest in a pasta machine, I was initially tempted by the low prices of several other machines but having read customer reviews of cheaper models I realised that investing in a quality piece of equipment would pay dividends in the long run. I was thoroughly impressed by the sturdiness of the machine and the s...
#over priced due to cheap mechanism (2009-06-06) The poor mechanism on this machine means you may as well buy one of the cheaper alternatives, if you intend to use this a lot go for a better brand, mechanism jams a lot.
#Solid and well made (2009-06-02) I was delighted with this kit. It is soundly made, works so well it does not call attention to itself, just does the job with no fuss. Cant believe it costs so little. Glad I didn t wait to buy it before the manufacturers realised it s value and doubled the price.
#Simply the best there is.... (2009-05-08) There are a lot of pasta makers out there - and most make an attempt to emulate this Imperia machine, you can see why. . . This machine is an all metal construction (with the exception of the plastic grip on the handle) and you get the feeling that if you dropped this on the floor, then it s the floor which would fare worse. It s a heavy piece of kit which is smooth to run and adds a rustic charm to any kitchen when on display. Ultimately though, the pasta maker has to be judged on the pasta it creates, and this maker manages to incrementally ...

Imperia Italian Pasta Italiana Gift Set, Gift Boxed

#Great gift (2009-06-18) I gave this to my boyfriend for his 30th birthday. He loves it and we have had a beautiful pasta meal. The fettuccine was very sliky and smooth, so much better than dried pasta! We are looking forward to using the raviloi tray.
#Imperia Pasta Maker Set (2009-06-15) After a little practice this is a fantastic addition to our kitchen, easy to use, easy to clean and fresh pasta whenever you want. . . . great!
#Imperia Italian Pasta maker (2009-04-03) Brilliant - pasta perfect every time. Delivery very quickThank you
#Imperia Pasta Maker Set (2009-03-21) Good machine. Slight rust on base. Attachment for feeding filling into ravioli not included in set. Suggest a link in which to buy together.
#Waste of Money (2009-03-19) I don t know how others have provided good reviews for this product. The attachment that makes the finer pasta (spaghetti etc)doesn t work because the parts just clog up. Furthermore, the instructions state that it cannot be washed in water. This means that after use I get as much of the pasta out as I possibly can, but when I use it again I see that small dry bits remain. I then use a tooth pick and shake the product to get them out. The only attachment that works ok is the one that rolls the pasta flat. I think it is a total waste of money.

Imperia Italian Pasta Wood Drying Stand, Gift Boxed

#Handy item for pasta makers (2009-04-13) Very useful if you make a lot of pasta. Without it, the cut pasta takes up a lot of room on trays and tends to stick together. The only drawback is the space taken for storage. If you can make room for it then pasta making is a lot more straightforward.
#Useful kit (2009-03-09) This pasta drying stand is very helpful. The alternative is to lay home made pasta onto floured wooden surfaces or on towels. The stand takes up less space when making even small amounts of pasta and allows all of the pasta surface to be exposed to the air. It can be helpful to dry the pasta sheets a little before cutting too. The wooden pegs slide out to allow hanging cut long pasta to be quickly dropped into boiling water by sliding the pasta straight off without further handling. Easy assembly allows quick use and disassembly allows quick storage.
#Pasta stand (2009-02-04) Does what it says. The arms are removable for ease of fitting on the pasta and for cleaning, (we just wipe them with a dry cloth). The only problem is storage, it is a little tall for most cupboards and takes up a lot of cupboard space.

#Lovely pasta, light and fresh (2009-05-26) I was really impressed with how easy the pasta machine is to use and delighted with the results of my first attempt. The tagliatelle was really light and tasty - a world of difference from shop bought fresh pasta or the dried variety. I ve also frozen the excess and cooked with excellent results.
#Cheaper, Much cheaper (2009-05-07) I bought that EXACT same item for £29. 95, online, and I am not kidding. I am taking it to Thailand with me for our (my wife and I s) restaurant. Don t spend more than you have to!!!Keep looking!
#Over priced (2009-04-01) I purchased this item 2 weeks ago and returned it within 2 days to get the basic imperia with 1 attachment which I love. I was really dissappointed with the 505 model. The ravioli attachment is as good as useless. I found making ravioli by hand from sheet far easier and cleaner. It says you MUST not wash the attachments - because they rust quickly, and yet the ravioli attachment gets covered in ravioli sauce - really unhygenic & major design fault. Likewise, the other attachment makes virtually identical pasta to the spagetti attachment. The imperia I...
#Fantastic Pasta Maker (2009-03-06) What good value! Very efficient service from Amazon. This was a gift for a friend who loves to cook and she has tried every attachment with great success. The only things missing. . . . . . . . . flour, water and eggs!
#Best pasta! (2009-02-18) I bought this machine and I have to say it is really good, making your own pasta is rewarding as it tastes so much better, just made some cannelloni last night and they were delicious. So it s great for lasagne, spaghetti. . . There are 2 things to be aware though: the attachement for the ravioli, it is just impossible to use it, we tried and ended up having our filing everywhere on the machine (you are not supposed to clean any parts of the machine with water which is great in a way as basically almost no cleaning is required!)so for ravioli we just bought s...

#CAN OPENER (2009-05-02) I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THIS ITEM, THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT YOU HAVE TO HOLD THE CAN JUST SO OR IT DOESN T OPEN IT PROPERLY SO IT CAN BE A BIT FIDDLY SOMETIMES BUT OTHERWISE OKAY
#Russell Hobbs 1448 Can Opener (2009-04-15) Good product, does the job well, leaving no sharp edges. As I like to wash and recycle cans, I was particularly looking for a can opener that didn t leave sharp edges. It s easy to operate this can opener and it holds the can whilst opening it, leaving hands free and the magnet holds the lid when you remove the opened can. All in all a good product at a very good price and no batteries required!
#DO NOT BUY THIS (2009-04-02) After having a kenwood electric opener for many years, it had seen better days so I thought I would replace it with this unit as the price seemed very fair. Unfortunately it is a piece of rubbish, it is hard to find the correct place to situate the cans & when (in my experience) you have, it does not open many cans, just makes a noise like the can is too tough for it. It was far faster to use the manual opener in the end. I would NOT recommend this to anyone
#Arthritus and mechanical can opener (2009-03-09) This product works well when you get the can in the right place but the problem is finding the right place but for the price you cant complain. And i love the way the lid stays on the magnet.
#Good value for Russell Hobbs 14448 Can opener (2009-03-01) In my experience quite a good can opener once you master the knack of positioning the can and not over tilting the handle. Cannot comment on the knife sharpening as this is something I have yet to try.
