#Things to consider (2009-04-30) You need to note when considering this item if you also want it to double up as a bedside clock it doesn t have an alarm function. It also re-sets the max min temp every 24hrs so if you are only a casual weather watcher be warned you ll need to start keeping records everyday. It s also a bit large. Dissappointed overall.

#Oregon Scientific Weather Station, Good Value! (2008-11-25) I bought this Oregon BAR 208 HG weather station to replace a 12-year-old Oregon unit in which the outside sensor had failed. The BAR 208 HG is much improved over its 12 year old cousin, the display is much easier to read and has more functions. If you want to monitor temperatures in different parts of your house or garden you can purchase two additional sensors. For the price it is good value for money and works well, I would recommend it for amateur home use.

#Built and designed in a rush - inaccurate (2009-01-24) At first sight the DT-2 hygrometer seems like an attractive, reasonably priced gadget for anyone wanting to monitor the humidity levels in their home. The display is nice and large, and it functions as a digital clock, and a thermometer. . however all is not as it seems. The battery compartment takes only one battery, despite having space for two. Don t make my mistake and return the item to the shop thinking you are missing an all important battery clip and spring, or you ll look like an idiot. Of course maybe that s the so...
