#Very pretty item but not very practical (2009-01-09) My daughter loves this but as a parent it s really annoying as it s so easy to change the time on it or the alarm time on it - either accidentally or deliberately you can just catch the knobs. It s just too impractical to use as a regular alarm clock although it is pretty.

Star Wars - or the franchise as it s known among the aficionado - is one heck of a machine, even for those of us who think we know a thing or two about tie-ins, merchandising and gadgetry. #Not worth the money (2009-01-30) For the money I thought this would be much better than it is. The most fun the kids have with it is constantly turning it on and off as it makes the sound of a Star Wars light saber which they think is great. The torch light is pretty useless in the dark.

#Great learning tool (2009-01-27) My son loves this clock. He was 4 years old when he got it, I didn t show him that the face came off. I don t think it came off easily at all. It has helped him to learn to tell the time and is useful when trying to wake him up in the morning.

It lasted about one hour, because my son wanted to take the face off and play with the hands (and they are no stronger than the hands on a grown-ups clock).
