#Does job...also rusts. (2008-11-04) This heat diffuser does its job excellently. It is constructed of two metal sheets whichare a similar thickness to a tin can. These are fixed together in a way that gives a 1cm gap between both sides. Even though it s made with thin metal, it is sturdy enough to take a large saucepan. I cook with gas, and at the lowest setting Ihad been unable to get a really gentle simmer. Using this product has solved that problem. #Excellent buy! (2009-05-27) I am very pleased with my purchase of the simplehuman utensil holder. It is excellent quality, and has plenty of room for all my utensils. The main body is split into segments to keep things organized and the front comes away and can be used as a spoon rest, which is handy. A good buy, worth the money, it looks very stylish on my worktop!

#Works Well (2009-05-30) Just had granite worktops and needed something to put the hot pans on - works fine and I like the rubber feet that avoid scratching the worktops unlike many similar products - also these are almost as deep as the hob which means they will fit two pans.

#MAGIC TRIVET!! (2009-04-20) Having recently had a new kitchen installed, I purchased this trivet to protect my worktops from hot casserole dishes/saucepans whilst dishing up. My major concern being the heat that my Le creuset casserole dishes would reach. This trivet is pretty robust and has footing that raises it slightly from the worktop, it passed the le creuset test very well!! Very easy to clean and store in the cupboard and flexible enough to take various size saucepans and dishes. Would recommend!!
