#A quick and easy bottle opener (2009-04-16) Very easy to use (unless you are trying to open a screw top bottle - yes, this has happened). Comes with a foil cutter and stopper, but it is the bottle opener that you re buying. We ve had ours for a good few years, no sign of it wearing out, or breaking. You put the corkscrew fitting over the cork, pull the handle down (sometimes a bit of a struggle, depending on quality of cork) and pull the handle up. Works every time.

#3rd Time Lucky! (2007-01-25) My first Lever corkscrew did the job most of the time, but struggled with some corks. Eventually it disintegrated with various bits flying around!My second was better but still struggled with bottles with non-standard necks. This one handles any bottle and is more stable as you can hold the bottle down as you grip the neck. Needs a good pull sometimes but always works, and the foil cutter is more effective than most.

#excellent product (2009-04-13) I have tried the lever arch corkscrews before but found they didn t last particularly long. I came across this one and it certainly does the trick. It struggles a little with synthetic corks (which it does state in the instructions) in comparison to regular corks but definitely an essential for the wine drinker!I have since bought a couple as gifts

(2008-09-23) I bought this nearly 6 months ago because I was finding it painful to open bottles due to a combination of RSI and arthritis in my wrist. So I must have used it well over 100 times, with no trouble, even with plastic corks. It s a bit noisy in use and the blue light that tells you it s charging is a bit bright, but the only better wine drinking accessory I ve ever seen can be viewed on Youtube if you search for usbwine.
