The 3. 5L size indicated is not the working capacity, so unfortunately it was too small for some of the recipes I wanted to try. However, it works wonderfully. #Morphy Richard Slow cooker (2009-04-10) I often thought about getting a slow cooker but just never got round to buying one then as I was due to have surgery I thought it was time to make cooking easier. Well all I can say is I do wish I had bought one years ago. #Takes longer to cook then specified (2009-03-30) Having had a slow cooker previously (RIVAL) which produced some superb meals, I am disappointed with this as I have tried two different meals (set on recommended settings - medium -for the specified times) and on both occasions the meat in the casserole has not been as tender as it should have been. I ve cooked different varieties of rice in mine, including wholemeal brown rice.
