#tefal actifry (2009-07-04) this is the best fryer I have ever owned takes longer than a deep fat fryer to cook but everything tastes alot better
#It s chips, Jim - but not as we know em (2009-07-02) I had high hopes for this machine. You see, I m a chip fool. I LOVE chips. My earliest memory of culinary ecstacy (from about 50 years ago) is of a plate of chips that my grandmother had cooked - in lard over an open fire. My problem is that it s hard to get a decent chip ANYWHERE. All of our local chip shops (within a 15 mile radius) are rubbish (they cook soft, white horrible things), French Fries are OK but they re not chips, Oven Chips are, for me, proof that there IS a Devil and that he s perpetrating his mischief wh...
#great pressie 4 mum and dad (2009-06-27) Tefal ActiFry Low Fat Electric Fryer]]great buy i got this 4 my mum + dad and now they would not be without it ,food tastes great and low fat what more could you ask 4 ! dawn.
#everything they say is true (2009-06-25) I first saw this demionstrated on the TV. . . . I didn,t believe it, but since I love chips I thought it would be worth the splurge. I read the reviews on Amazon, so I was well prepared to use it . . . on the bad side, the reviews spoke about the large size, the relatively flimsy mechanism, almost inaudible timer, and the importance of following the guide/recipes to the letter. this I have done - and have been delighted. On the negative side, the closure mechanism is insecure, so I have to keep an eye out, or put a weight on the lid. On...
#Happy Chappie (2009-06-21) Does a good job if you shorten the recommended cooking times. Easy to clean.

#Deep fat fryer (2009-06-20) The delivery was quick and the product is excellent. It is the first time I have seen a deep fat fryer which can be taken apart for cleaning. It is so simple and quick to do. And it was a decent price. I can definitely recommend it.
#ninjin (2009-06-17) [ASIN:B00008R9OI Kenwood DF380 Deep Fat Fryer with Easy Clean System[[I found this product very easy to use, being able to put it in the dishwasher was a bonus. The only disadvantage was that if you did not have the basket in you could not close the lid especially frying fish because it would stick to the basket. I replaced this with an older version of Kenwood which had lasted for many years. The new one is much lighter and they have improved it. In years to come I would buy Kenwood again
#Fantasic for me (2009-06-03) This in my opion totally the bees knees. I got it yesterday, and have been a bit mad, so fed up with frozen things, especially cheap non chips, as I call such. I have been on the Internet for 14 years (Webmaster) and have NEVER until today EVER left any feedback like this ever before, but I am SO SO happy with product that I have been compulsed to write a review, and as siad, for the first time ever. It a fantastic item, and I disagree with others about its capacity. Although I live on my own, I reckon that, without having a silly huge plate of horrible fro...
#Kenwood fryer (2009-05-30) Nice compact fryer --- easy to set up and clear instructions. Beware the short flex if you are a distance from an electric socket. Makes lovely chips ---- haven t had a real deep clean yet but it all seems pretty simple.
#Deep fat fryer (2009-04-21) So far so good although the basket could be deeper, there is room for the extra depth. Does not cook large amounts of chips as the basket is small but then we don t eat huge amounts of chips anyway. You can see the food being cooked through the window too. Really pleased with it so far. Not washed in the dishwasher yet as only used once but I would highly recommend this product.

#Unstable basket drops 2 stars (2009-06-01) Morphy Richards 45470 Brushed Stainless Steel Fryer Agree with some of the previous reviews with regard to this fryer howeverits biggest fault is that even with the basket fully loaded the relatively heavy fold out handle tips the basket backwards resultingin the front part spending its time out of the oil. Good results however as long as you dont mind holding the handle during frying.
#morphy richards deep fat fryer (2009-03-03) i looked at other reviews before buyingand agree it is the rolls royce fryerfirst class all round item
#Bubble bubble boil and no trouble ! (2008-10-18) Love it !Tired of dried up oven chips in my fan oven, not as though they are cheap either, always take up valuable space up in the freezer. I bought this purely for the chip factor. Totally aware that deep frying food is not particularly a healthy option these days though. This all slots together and comes apart very easily, but securely enough to keep everything safe. Controls are simple, on off switch and temperature dial and light. No strange little symbols looking like cartoon chickens or the like. The cord tucks away in the ba...
#Compact & Efficient, Ideal For Occasional Use (2008-10-03) We got the 45470 last December, oddly as a result of researching the intertubes for slow-cooker chicken recipes. I kept stumbling across fantastic coatings for deep-fried chicken and similar. Long story short, I went for the 45470 from Amazon and it s turned out ideal. We have a pokey little kitchen and the 40cm x 17cm footprint doesn t take up too much room. The thermostat is accurate and the massive heating element gets things sizzling in minutes. Oil is readily available in 3-litre bottles which (with the heater installed...
#BEST FRYER YET (2007-03-13) I bought this fryer about 2 months ago, was a little surprised to find it did not have a filter system in the lid like all the rest I have tried. No need to worry, just fry with the lid off and it doesn t seem to produce much steam. The main feature I like about this fryer is it can be totally cleaned . All you do is remove the element and the whole of the fryer can be washed in the sink (GREAT). Can highly recommend it.

#Russell Hobs fryer (2009-02-25) As previously described, slightly larger than expected, strips apart totally for cleaning, looking forward to the chips and doughnuts.
#Good looking item (2009-02-11) Good looking fryer with a bigger capacity than it first looks. Easier to store and keep clean than the circular style.

#Worth the counter space (2009-06-29) Another kitchen gadget? Yes! But one which is well worth the counter space. In the last month I ve only used my main oven for Sunday family dinners! The rice and pasta settings produce fluffy rice and al dente pasta without thinking about it, the slow cooker aspect is wonderful, the recipe book provided gives basic settings which you can then adapt to your own recipes too. The only thing I haven t tried yet is the cake making as I m trying not to have cake in the house! But I m sure that will work too. Food cooked in an Intellichef keeps its flav...
