#Excellent results (2009-07-05) Lots of recipes come with this machine. I ve had perfect results so far. I like the shape of the loaf. This is my third bread maker and it is the best yet. Pity it hasn t got a jam programme but still highly recommend it.
#Recession buster (2009-07-04) Panic at the thought of being without a breadmaker when I thought my original had died meant another being purchased - same model same make. My only criticism is the size but that is more to do with the size of my kitchen. Running a B & B means that the economy of home bread making and quality of home baked bread keeps me and my guests very happy. The math soon outweighs the cost of purchase and with two machines on the go - no waiting for the machine to cool down for the second batch.
#not worth the cost (2009-06-30) rubbish dough function and the sandwich bread mode absolutely terrible. . . however I have had decent white loaf every time. the rapid mode is great too.
#Top marks (2009-06-29) Brought this in June 2009 because not only did it have 5 stars from 200+ ratings but also it was top in most reviews. The box isn t the prettiest but it s about the functionality with this gem. The first loaf I tried was curry and mango. 4 hours later I had a medium loaf enough for 3 days food. As long as you following the instructions, it s simple and you create the perfect loaf. Obesity here I come!
#Panasonic SD255 Breadmaker (2009-06-27) Highly rated - worth the extra money as produces great bread time after time without any fuss. Typical high quality panasonic product.

#fantastic breadmaker (2009-07-02) have to say this is a wicked breadmaker, its the third one i ve owned and actually makes fantastic bread! Even the fast setting has wonderful wonderful bread. No fiddly milk powder and its incredibly simple to use - would recommend this every time now.
#Fantastic home-made bread (2009-07-02) This is the best bread-maker I ve ever had. Sure, the recipes take a little time and you ve got to be organised in advance, but the breads that this machine makes are just SO good - it s worth it. The only additional thing I would have liked is a port-hole window in the lid to see the bread cooking - yes, I know that you can lift the lid, but only when it s mixing or resting - not when it s cooking (you d let the heat out and possibly spoil the bread). A great bread-maker that I d definitely buy again (I hope it s going to last a while though!)...
#Top quality breadmaker .......... top quality bread (2009-07-01) We had a breadmaker some while ago and it was OK. When it finally gave up the ghost I started making bread by hand, results were not quite as good. Looked to buy a new breadmaker and reviews pointed me to the Panasonic, this has been one of our best purchases for years ! Excellent bread time after time, a quality product which produces quality bread. I have no hesitation in recommending this breadmaker unreservedly, there may be cheaper on the market, but this is the best!
#Panasonic bread maker (2009-06-22) I am disappointed in the Panasonic breadmaker. The bread is not as good as that made in my previous breadmakers. The crust comes out very nicely but becomes soft quickly and is tough. When I spoke to Panasonic they blamed the flour but I used the same flour as always so that cannot be the reason. Also the switches don t respond to size and colour and I found other people have the same problem
#Bread maker (2009-06-20) Panasonic Sd 254 is the second bread maker I bought. It is a very good product no problems at all. I make bread every day.

#Great breadmaker :) (2009-06-24) I`ve used breadmakers for the last ten years. My old faithful one that I`d used ever couple of days for ten years broke down recently. I bought this one, and while I`m still getting used to it, it`s a great value breadmaker. I`d recommed this breadmaker to anyone and everyone.
#breadmaker (2009-06-10) I thought it would be nice to have a go at making fresh bread at home, but I didn t want to spend too much money on a breadmaker, so this fit the bill perfectly. I have made 3 different loaves so far, and have found it pretty easy to use - my main worry was buying the correct ingredients! (I have never bought yeast before). The recipes are varied - from plain loaves to fruit bread, herb bread, and rolls. You can even make jam in it!There are 2 loaf size options, and the recipes are easy to follow. Measuring spoons and cups are included. I am more than happy w...
#Delicatessen (2009-06-05) It s priceless to have for breakfast such home-made bread and waking up with the smell of it, great quality of the machine
#Good bread on the first try - but machine is a bit bulky (2009-05-25) We just bought this machine and we just baked our first loaf. We followed the instructions and the result is great :)We are happy with the machine. If you are thinking of buying it, you should be aware that:- the machine is bulky - take a lot of space on the worktop: the image is misleading and you should check the dimensions- get a recipe book as the one provided contains just a small handful.
#Morphy Richards Fastbake Breadmaker (2009-05-16) We had an old Hinari breadmaker for many years which made a superb loaf. When it packed up we had a Panasonic which didn t mix the ingredients well leaving lumps of unbaked dough on the corners. The Morphy Richards is better but it still leaves unbaked mix around the paddle. I think its time for the breadmaking industry to think about a re-design

#Great Bread Maker (2009-06-11) This is the first bread maker that we have bought. Good and easy instructions with the final product, the bread, the best that we have ever tasted. It has been so successful that we have made bread for family and friends. The taste of the bread is so different to supermarket bread, so tasty, great texture and well worth the cost
#So disappointed (2009-06-08) I ve had a Panasonic bread maker for many years and love it. Bought this one because of the great review on Which? about the rapid bake. We needed to be able to run it overseas where power cuts are frequent and thought the fast bake would be ideal at just over an hour. As with another reviewer the paddle kept falling down and i had to fish about to make it stay up as i added the ingredients, the pan is narrower than the panasonic, so found it difficlut to hold the paddle and add the ingredients. Also measuring by cup is messy in my view, i. e. ...
#Made 50-60 loaves and stopped working! (2009-06-08) Morphy Richards 48268 Breadmaker (Stainless Steel)We were given this as a gift 18 months ago. Problems:-1. The plastic label was very difficult to remove -eventually (after a lot of scrubbing and other suggestions, we found spray polish dissolved the remaining adhesive!)2. After the first couple of loaves the fold down paddle always remains in the loaf and you have to dig it out!3. I noticed (3 loaves back) that the machine started making a loud clonking noise and this resulted in 3 loaves that raised fine and then just sank...
#Morphy Breadmaker 48268 (2009-06-05) I use this machine almost daily and can recomend it to anyone. Makes excellent bread so easily and without the large hole the old type paddle left. Buy with confidence.
#Breadmaker (2009-05-29) Morphy Richards 48268 Breadmaker (Stainless Steel)Excellent breadmakerEasy to follow instructionsKneading paddle retracts before bakingThe hole from paddle is only in first slice of end crustLoaf comes out very easily - non stick surface brilliant

#Never bought a loaf of bread since.... (2009-06-24) This breadmaker was bought for me as a Christmas present 18 months ago. I agree with the criticism regarding the clips on the bread pan, though with a little care they can be bent by hand to get a more secure grip. I didn t like the loaf made on the Rapid Bake programme but the full programme always turns out a really tasty loaf. The recipe book included with the machine is all I needed to get first class results. I recommend that you look inside the pan after about 10 minutes and scrape down the small amount of flour that hasn t qu...
#Excellent value breadmaker (2009-06-19) Excellent product, Makes great bread, has slightly flimsy clipping mechanism, easy to use provided you take care. I would say it s hard to find better value for money!
#breadmaker (2009-06-12) The breadmaker I purchased arrived on time and works very well. A slight problem in following the instructions as the marking on the veiwing window isn t very clear, but overall a good product.
#good machine, terrible instructions (2009-06-08) This is my second Kenwood breadmaker, having been delighted with the first. It was a shock to move from imperial to metric measurement but now conquered it s fine. The glossy coloured recipe book is most peculiar, not all programs being included. 5 basic recipes are included in the getting started leaflet. The breadmaking works very well and the finished loaf comes out of the tin easily as soon as it is cooked which didn t happen in my previous model, the BM200. I am keeping the instructions/recipe book from the BM200 for cross-re...
#250 breadmaker (2009-05-31) After eating packet mix in France made in this breadmaker I was hooked . Just put water in, tip in mix, and close lid,-job done!I came home and bought one. tried tesco mix--not as good as French. Then worked my way thro recipe book. All delicious so far and very easy! Some need 350 model but there s plenty of choice and we love it. jenny
