#philips hd4666/22 3000w kettle (2009-02-07) Quick delivery, good quality as can be expected with philips. Noisey, not all that quick at boiling.
#No frills, does the job (2008-10-12) I was looking for a simple, no frills kettle to replace our very old one. Having read some of the previous reviews, I decided that this one was way better than others - quick, nicely balanced, easy to fill. Although I am still happy with it - it boils water, after all - I must say that I do not agree with some of the reviewers. My wrists might be wrong shape, but I do not find the kettle nicely balanced at all - it s awkward and heavy. It is not particularly easy to fill through the spout and the lid is stiff on my kettle. It is noisy and not v...
#sadly incontinent (2008-08-30) Bought this kettle for the same reason and about the same time ago as a previous reviewer. I paid extra for the expected durability etc. Kettle has started to leak via one of the see through sides and is now destined for the bin. I find it disappointing that Philips do not value their product quality as an important factor. I will go to Bosch this time as I am impressed by their consistently reliable, effective and enduring appliances.
#Best Kettle Yet! (2008-06-18) Bought this kettle for my parents in November 2007 and it s still going strong. It boils fast and I suppose you could say it s noisy, but the previous kettle they had was a lot louder and slower. If it boils fast then it will be noisey, no way of getting round that really - that s physics for ya baby! My only complaint is that my parents don t push the metal filter gauze back down properly after washing out the limescale flakey bits. You need to push the filter in until it clicks into place - otherwise you ll get loads of limescale bits in your tea! If ...
#Lasted 18 Months (2008-05-31) I specifically bought this kettle as a quality product with a powerful element for fast boiling. Unfortunately after 18 months , and out of warranty, it has started leaking from the see through windows onto the base. I ve binned it and gone back to cheaper £4. 50 one from a supermarket. Very disappointing.

#Kettle review (2009-07-01) This kettle does all it says it does. However, it is very noisy, so one point not in its favour.
#Philips HD4644/00 Energy Efficient Kettle - 3.0KW, 1.7L (2009-06-28) I like this kettle. I had a Tefal one before which was really fast, which I love and this one is just as quick. It has a strange base, which is high sided, to make sure the kettle doesn t slip or fall over, I presume? It just does the job, so that s why I love it. For the money, it is really great value.
#Very good kettle (2009-06-09) It is so hard to find an ordinary kettle that isn t a design over function, dribbling disaster! This kettle is great, quick and efficient and a proper spout - yeay! Fingers crossed it lasts a good long time. . .
#Just the job (2009-06-01) Good kettle. Looks smart, well made, comfortable to use, boils quickly and pours smoothly. Very pleased with it.
#Fast and efficient (2009-05-16) I purchased this kettle a couple of months ago after spending ages looking for the perfect kettle in terms of performance and looks. I finally settled for this one, and whilst it probably isn t my perfect choice for looks its performance more than makes up for it. Being a big tea drinker, and an impatient one at that, I wanted a kettle that was quick and efficient. I did look at the Tefal 30 second machine but was put off by the fact that it didn t actually boil the water - tea with tepid water just doesn t taste right! Fortunately this kettle clearly...

#personal opinion (2009-07-04) find this quick and convenient for coffee and hot chocolate and reasonable for cuppa soup but not hot enough for good tea.
#Not reliable. Not recommended. (2009-07-01) I bought one of these late last year. I actually quite liked it. I drink mainly coffee and black tea - and the temperature of the water wasn t a problem for me. However after about five months the unit stopped working. Amazon were great and sent me a replacement. But the replacement stopped working within two weeks! So I got another one from amazon - and that stopped working within one week! From reading the reviews on here, it looks like I m not alone. How can a reputable company like Tefal produce a product that develops so...
#Quick cup - Luke warm and Cold in 3 Seconds (2009-07-01) When i 1st bought this product we was really happy. A few days later we noticed that the hot water was becoming just warm. I have now noticed that there is whiteness floating ontop of my drink (which you can get when microwaving tea or if the kettle has not boiled). The product is really noisy too.
#Love it! (2009-06-29) We received our Quick Cup nearly a fortnight ago and are delighted with it. Admittedly I only drink coffee (and black at that) but have had several picky tea drinking relations who have said it s absolutely fine!I have also made instant soup using it with no problems!Admittedly - I would not have bought it at the RRP but, I do actually feel it s worth it (think I got myself a bargain at £37!)Love it!!
#early demise (2009-06-29) After buying this product I thought it was very good and it did its job very well. However, after about a week the water began to be less and less hot. At about three weeks old the product was not heating the water at all. I now have to go back to Tefal (or Amazon??) to try and get a new Quick Cup. I hope I have just been unlucky.

#Little Red Booster (2009-06-21) I am not the world s cheeriest person when I get up in the morning, but this De Longhi set makes the day a little brighter. The iconic kettle is part of the set I purchased together, and like it s fellows, behaves properly and apart from a slightly awkward fill via the spout, is very satisfactory. It is solid glossy red and I am glad I bought it.
#Delonghi class (2009-06-04) As a big fan of Delonghi products my recent purchase, (the cheapest price on the market,) did not let me down, classy. . quality. . . and a brilliant colour. Maybe a little heavier than most kettles but its worth it.
#Leaves a bad taste in your mouth! (2009-05-03) At the end of the day, no matter how stylish a kettle looks, the reason you buy it is to boil the water for your tea or coffee. Unfortunately this kettle gives any drink a metalic taste so much so that you cannot drink your drink. So disappointed and intend to return it given other similar comments from other users. The manufacturer really needs to sort this out especially given it is such an expensive kettle!
#I must have a different kettle! (2009-04-05) I was very nearly put off buying this after reading the other reviews, but am glad that I ignored them. It is stunning, not slow to boil and not excessively noisy.
#Stylish kettle (2008-09-13) While I agree with the reviewer who said that this kettle is noisy and slow to boil, it is a lovely looking addition to your kitchen. Perhaps it does not feel as expensive as it is, but we are still very fond of ours. We have the matching toaster which is also pretty good.

#Superb (2009-07-05) +veReally good kettle quick, quiet, lid flips open at press of button. The last new kettle (not this manufacturer) we had from Argos but we returned as the plastic smell and taste was unbearable but this kettle was fine in that regard. It looks great. The subtle blue light on the lever switch is enough to tell you the kettle is on or off without the Blackpool illuminations of some kettles. -veNot much really. It is quite heavy but that might also be a positive. The handle is not as comfortable as my old RH Millenium kettle which had the most comfortable and id...
#Ideal (2009-06-15) I bought this kettle on Friday, and gave it a thorough workout over the weekend. It performed excellently. The kettle is:[1] fast (can boil a full jug quick enough to give you time to make an entire round during an advert break)[2] great looking (that s a lovely bit of kit, nice kettle and ooooooo were amongst the praises it received)[B] well built (has a good, solid feel to it)[iii] fastFor the price, it s a steal. I highly recommend it.
#Quiet, boils quickly, pours well - perfect! (2009-06-07) I ve had the kettle for 2 months and am very pleased with it. The cup measure is very helpful for only boiling what you need, it pours without dripping, the button to open the lid is great for keeping your hands away from the hot steam when you refill again straight away. The brushed steel goes well with my kitchen and doesn t get as dirty as the shiny steel of my old kettle. But the thing I like most is that it boils almost as quickly as my old kettle but I can stay in the room and have a phone conversation whilst it does i...
#energy saving con? (2009-06-03) Look its a nice kettle, not noisy, not too slow, lid flips up nicley, The only energy saving thing about it is the little 1cup 2cup 3cup markings which nobody in my house pays any attention too as they are designed to only fill small teacups and not the mugs i favour.
#Quality product. (2009-05-12) My old kettle was looking it s age,so I decided to look what was on offer. I decided to look for mid priced kettle from a proven manufacturer. Initially,I discounted the Philips HD4671 on the basis that I had been for some time only boiling water in my old kettle for my exact needs and using my mug to measure the amount I needed. The economy claims of the Philips kettle design seemed a bit of a gimmick. However,I liked the look of the kettle and I kept coming back to it. I placed the order and I have found the kettle first rate. Furthermore, the marki...
