Roll top stainless steel bread bin

#Excellent bread bin! (2009-06-30) Most of the bread bins I ve seen are flimsy, but this one oozes quality. It s very spacious and can easily hold 2 loaves of bread. I really like the matt steel finish which is resistant to finger marks to an extent. All in all, an excellent product!!
#Breadbin beauty (2009-04-19) This is a great product, can t really go wrong with this one. It s good-looking, sturdy and spacious. Well worth the money.
#Does what it says on the bin (2009-04-12) I chucked out a wooden John Lewis bread bin for this steel one. The wooden one used to host tiny little weevils in the edges when I hadn t cleaned it out for a few months. This one has a sterile, minimalist feel to it, which I prefer.

A natural beech lid and ceramic body give Nigella s designer bread bins a breezy, modern look that will make a style statement in your kitchen. A good bread bin will allow moisture to circulate while keeping bread fresh. The beech lid doubles as a bread cutting/serving board. Nigella says: I have never been able to find a bread bin that I liked the look of, everything around is either too trad or too chillingly and self-consciously contemporary. And I wanted a wooden lid to double as a breadboard so that it would be functional as well as beautiful. Famed food writer Nigella Lawson created her enticing range of Living Kitchen co-ordinates in white with soul cream and duck-egg good mood blue. Inspired by her day to day cooking experiences, Nigella Lawson homewares create a peaceful, indulgent home environment and are of course manufactured to the very highest standards.

#big and beautiful (2009-06-02) I was searching for a large bread bin for a very long time. Finally I found this Nigella Lawson brad bin and it is great. It looks beautiful.
#You ll need a new lid every week! (2009-04-23) I loved this breadbin as it looks lovely and is excellent for a family of 5. HOWEVER. . . I noticed the lid had started to warp. At first I just hoped I was imagining it (as I d seen the reviews), but it got worse and the wood started to crack in the middle. Last week I got sent a replacement lid and ALREADY the new lid has warped even more than the original one. The finish of the wood on the second lid is very rough, unlike the first one. I m now very disappointed with this breadbin, as its no good. I ll need a new lid ever...
#Lovely design but materials and finish don t match price tag (2009-03-18) I bought this despite the price and the bad reviews regarding the lid simply because I loved the look of it and it matched my kitchen perfectly and as a family of 5, I need a bigger style bin. So I was eager to see what it was like when it arrived. I inspected probably a little more than I would have prior to reading the other reviews. The lid was definately not of a quality you would expect for this price (the wood was rough to the touch like it hadn t been finished properly) The main bin does not sit straig...
#Disappointing (2009-03-18) In common, it seems, with many other buyers I had problems with the lid warping but swiftly got a replacment. Now after a couple of years, the unit has developed a crack along the base. It has definitely never been dropped or had anything dropped into it. It just appeared. When it eventually goes - as it surely will one day soon - I sadly will not replace it like for like. Such a shame that the design is so appealing but the craftmanship/quality seems pretty poor - especially when you take into account the price!
#Careful with that lid, Nigella. (2009-03-12) Lovely deep bread bin that holds a tremendous amount. The bin itself is well-crafted, of a serious heft, and feels great to the touch. The lid/breadboard, however, seems inferior, flimsy and, well, not of the same quality as the rest of the product. I hear that most stockists will replace the lids without question when they inevitably warp. On the whole, we re glad we bought it. It holds one metric shedload of bread, crumpets and pitta, and looks stylish. For now.

Brabnta 3395.85 R.Top Bread Bin Bril Steel Med - Roll Top Bread Bin

#good quality - but quite small (2009-06-04) This is a good quality product from Brabantia, but it is quite small and only really fits one loaf at a time
#Good quality (2009-04-20) Its worth paying a little extra for the superb quality. Door moves freely and it certainly keeps the bread fresher.

Fresh bread kept cool with a style statement retro bread bin in delicious colours

#Fabby (2009-04-20) I have this item in red and it is beautiful, it looks great and is a generous size. I have no problem with the door on mine, I have had it six months now and its going strong. My only quibble would be that mine did not have the rubber feet on the legs to stop it sliding when you open the door. . . No biggy though.
#Typhoon Retro bread bin (2009-02-20) It looks to die for and makes something that is usually a really boring item, stand out as a real design statement. However, I am concerned about the hinge as it s very wonky and isn t very strong. Not sure how long its going to last. Watch this space!
#It looks great... (2008-02-19) This breadbin looks great and everyone who sees it comments on how good it looks! I was a bit unsure as to whether or not it would be big enough for my family, but it I needn t have worried. I would agree with the other review about the door, but this will only be a problem if you are particularly heavy handed!I would recommend this product to others.

#Good looking bread bin! (2009-07-02) I purchased one of these bread bins recently and my mother inlaw liked it so much I ve just purchased one for her too. It looks good and it seems to preserve bread longer than plastic or metal bread bins.
#t & g bread bin (2009-03-30) I am very pleased with my bread bin. The quality , finish & design is very good. It is flat on top, which i wanted, plus it s a generous size , so plenty of room for a full loaf of bread! And the front drops down to use as a bread board. Just what i was looking for.
#Nice solid item (2009-03-15) My old mun told me that bread keeps fresher longer in a wooden bread bin I never believed it untill now I have had this item for a few weeks now and its true would recomend this bread bin
#Mine was fine! (2008-04-29) I m sorry your other reviewer had a bad experience. My bread bin is absolutely fine and very robust. It has a lovely, traditional look in my kitchen. I have bought other T&G items from this range and they are all excellent quality.
#Looks good, quality of finish is poor (2008-03-28) I bought this particular bread bin as we have a tea caddy in the same range and we are happy with the look. We prefer to have a bread bin with a flat top - which this does - and were looking forward to its arrival. Delivery as usual was very good. The outside of the bin looks good. There were a couple of blemishes on the one delivered to us which was slightly disappointing but we would have lived with them. The inside was another maatter. Where the sides met the floor the staples/pins used to fix the thing together had pushed ...
