#Russell Hobbs salt and pepper grinders (2009-06-08) I purchased this duo because I am having increasing difficulty with my hands since arthritis moved in. I use one for black pepper and the other for mixed spices, much easier than a pestle and mortar. I find them easy to set up and use but cannot comment on the battery life as I have only had them a few weeks. Would definitely recommend them.

#salt & peppers here! (2009-06-04) After going through numerous cheap S&P pots, I was happy to purchase this product. Easy to use and hopefully will last while. I bought a different set before this, from Wilkinson for two quid and they lasted two days, before they stopped grinding at all.

#Not the very best (2009-05-08) We bought 2, one for our and one for gift. The fisrt one arrived and we used them, only in 2 weeks, the grinder was broken because it was made with plastic. I was surpriced that why the manufacurer did not use a more efficientcy material. They could have known that the grinder must be strong enough to grind the pepper corn. We sent them back to Amazon and we had the refund, Thanks Amazon. We are now using the second one which was expected to be a gift but we would think about some other product or we will see this second one, how they will be last....

#These are brilliant (2009-04-30) These mills are excellent - well made and they grind salt and pepper really well. I have purchased several, different sets by other manufacturers but these are by far the best. I highly recommend them.

#like it (2008-10-31) I got one of these as a present and thought oh well I can always give it to soemone else - but the box kicked around and got tatty so one day when the garlic crusher was in the dishwasher I gave it a go and found it a good bit of kit for making salad dressings that we now use a lot - gives a smoother taste

#The worst ever invention ? (2008-07-01) Disappointed does not begin to describe my view on this product. It does not feel secure and simply does not do what it says it will do. The ball rolls around doing a great impression of diddly squat. I tried to do a marinade with oil, garlic, vinegar, salt and pepper etc. The garlic was bruised at best (certainly not the nice fine mush Oliver states it will come out of)and the rest just stuck to the ball. Luckily John Lewis gave me a refund. Warning - stay well away from this product if you like cooking - it is NOT pukka ! Shame on you...

#As Jaime O might say - Piece o Crap! (2008-01-11) Good idea, but the two halves don t lock together properly and tend to come apart when shaken vigorously, unless you hold it clamped in two hands. Also I ordered the stainless steel version and they sent the plastic one. . . Amazon UK is only a shadow of the US version. . . Maybe Bezos needs to look at how things are operating in the UK/EU. . . #just what i was looking for (2009-06-18) I bought this shaker to put chocolate powder in it for making cappuccinos, it seems to work but watch out, mine had some quite sharp edges at the top of the base and the bottom of the lid, I had to use a file to smooth them down. Apart from that, I am happy with my purchase.

#Unhappy Bunny (2009-04-25) I have tried 2 of these items (original one replaced) and they both leaked betewen the body and the drizzler when used. It made a terrible mess of the tablecloth as I had it filled with balsamic vinegar at the time! This seems to be a bad design and not fit for purpose.
