Place garlic in the bowl and squeeze firmly. No peeling necessary. Removes the peelings completely, and quickly extracts garlic bits and juice.

#Garlic press does the job... (2009-07-02) No negatives here. . . The press is very light so when one presses it together to extract the garlic , all the strength needed is channeled into the task and not in lifting the tool. Very easy to clean. . . very simple to use and a clever tool.
#Zyliss Garlic press (2009-06-23) I looked at the reviews and believed them and as they spoke positively i bought one and it has proved to be as good as the reviews said so well done. Nice not having to peel the garlic first and quite easy to get rid of garlic skins with a small sharp knife under one of the corners and if some of the skin comes thru the holes then i use a vegatable scrubber with their strong bristles to push into the holes and clear the skin out the holes.
#Zyliss Garlic Press (2009-06-20) This product is a great garlic press, it removes the need to peel a clove (which i find infuriating), it peels the cloves quickly and requires very little strength, just the scrape of a knife blade to remove the garlic and remove the entire skin left inside, apart from a few small pieces of garlic in the holes. However, cleaning it takes alot of time and i m yet to put it in the dishwasher as regards the non-stick coating peeling off. I don t mind the cleaning part of it, so the reason i didn t give this 5 stars is mainly about it not being dishwashe...
#Best little gadget (2009-05-23) I have today used this Zyliss Garlic Press - I must confess [unlike the other gadgets that I have used before where you have the tedious job of peeling the garlic, the presser never did manage to squeeze ALL the garlic out, and worst leaving the garlic smell on your fingers] this was the BEST of the lot, it does exactly what it says!!. It was quick to use, it squeezed all the garlic out and all that was left was just the skin which came out easily. It was even so much easier to clean. Worth every penny, and would certainly recommend it to all the g...
#An improvement on the last model ...... I hope! (2009-05-20) I was given the earlier model of this gadget 3 years ago and this year if finally had to be thrown away as the silver was flaking off it and into my food (my sister s went after about the same amount of time). This model is a much better design and in terms of the job they do both gadgets were a godsend as they make preparing garlic much easier. Let s hope this one last longer!

#really good! (2009-05-18) i really liked this. easy to clean, doesnt need much garlic, and you dont lose alot in the process (:
#great little gizmo (2009-04-19) bought as a mothers day present and seems to be going down well. a nifty little gadget and useful too.
#I LOVE THIS Garlic Zoom (2009-03-06) Its briliant - I am buying more as presents. It can only do a couple of cloves at a time but it only take a few roll s to chop so just empty and start again. Don t bother taking it apart to wash, just open lid and rince in the sink - doneHighy recommended
#Useful and easy to use garlic chopper (2008-12-05) A great little kitchen tool for quickly and easily chopping garlic. I use a lot of garlic in some of my cooking, and this Garlic Zoom by Chef n works quite well. Simply peel the cloves and pop them in the Zoom. I usually roll the Zoom across the palm of my hand, the more you roll the finer the chopped garlic. Top the Zoom on your worktop every now and again to ensure all of the garlic goes past the blades. Although it s a faff to use this just to chop one clove, use a knife and chopping board instead, if you want to chop a few...
#f n Garlic zoom (2008-11-23) this should be put in a museum showcase for its sleek design and that s about the only good thing i have to say. it chops coarsely and the motion of over and over and over to reach a fine mince is tedious. difficult to clean. do not waste your money. get the starfrit garlic mincer instead. it s fabulous!!!

Chopping up garlic with an ordinary knife can be a tiresome chore. Our Classic garlic press is fitted with a removable stainless steel perforated grille, which makes it easy to clean. The long grips make the press easy to operate. Additionally, this item comes with the reassurance of Barabantia no quibble 5 Year Warranty

#brabantia garlic press (2009-05-18) i didn t quite like this so much because quite a bit of garlic tends to get wasted because it gets stuck all over the thing. also, it tends to make the garlic really mushy and wet =x
#Long-lasting (2009-05-09) I got my Brabantia garlic press over 10 years ago as a hen party gift. I use it at least weekly and it works as well now as when I first got it. A quality product at an excellent price!
#Great sturdy product - not just for garlic (2009-03-28) Fed up with trying to chop garlic finely with a knife, I gave in and bought this product. It is very sturdy, and I now use it not only for crushing garlic but also to crush small slices of ginger and it works excellent for both. It is easy to use and easy to clean. I can fully recommend this product.

The Good Grips Garlic Press makes it easy and cleaner to add fresh garlic to any recipe. The soft, comfortable handles cushion your hands and absorb pressure while you squeeze. To clean the press, simply flip the handles over to clean out excess garlic with the built-in cleaner.

#Useless (2009-05-30) I thought I had found the answer to one of my life problems, a garlic crusher that could do its job when I bought my first OXO crusher. It lasted 6 months but foolishly I bought another and my 8 stone wife snapped that 6 months later. It looks good and feels like it should last but is made of a cheap alloy that is totally unsuitable. I tried to contact OXO after the first one broke and sent two emails which were not answered. Avoid!
#Very disappointing (2008-12-20) I bought this because i ve got various other Oxo Good Grips items (e. g. the excellent potato masher and salad spinner) but it just doesn t work very well. Takes up lots of space too (which i wouldn t mind, but it s just not functional).
#Overpriced gadget (2008-11-22) Sorry. I would like to be able to recommend this item but I can t. It is really not worth the money. I bought it because it sounded good and I liked the idea of the self cleaning bit but in reality it is very wasteful as most of the garlic clove is not pressed through. If you have a weak grip don t buy it as it is very hard to squeeze the garlic through probably because the handles are quite short. I had mine for about a year when it snapped in two. Luckily when I contacted the supplier I got a full refund. A cheap press bought from Tesc...
#waste of money and time (2008-11-20) Snapped after a few months use and despite all my effort found it very hard to actually squeeze any garlic through. The only plus side was the rubber cleaning spikes!
#Not as good as it looks (2008-07-13) Handles fill with water in the dishwasher, garlic squeezes out the side of the compartment when crushed, hinge snapped after a couple of months of use. Poor design, appalling build quality.

#Garlic Chopper (2009-05-16) I bought this for my mother as i thought it would be easy for her to use. I have used it once and it is not easy at all. It is very hard to rotate and did not chop the garlic at all.
#It slices, it dices (2009-03-28) Although it can be a little difficult to get the garlic out this is a fantastic tool. Within a few seconds the garlic is chopped very fine.
#Nifty piece of kit (2008-09-27) This is an ingenious little invention. I have been checking the price and reviews of garlic presses on the Internet for months now, and the varying statements made me sceptical about purchasing any of them. I was prepared to spend allot of money for a good one, but only if there were no bad reviews about it. Being a lover of garlic in everything I wanted something that was guaranteed to work without hiccups. I stumbled on this on American site, so I checked on Amazon to see if they had any, and they did, so I decided to purchase it. I only rec...
#So easy (2008-09-01) Garlic Chopper - This product is easy to use if you have arthritic hands because the body of it is easy to grip and twist. The blades are very very sharp and quickly chop a large quantity of garlic, we chopped garlic and chillies together in seconds. By rotating the blades making four sections the ingredients scoop out easily, a quick rinse under the tap and the chopper is clean. It is dishwasher proof. We are so pleased that we will be giving some out as gifts.
