Butane Gas 250ml (For Kitchen Craft and Master Class Blowtorches)

#Butane Cylinders Review (2009-03-30) Nothing wrong with cylinders but they should be supplied with a variety of connectors. As it is I cannot fill the Chefs blowtorch that I purchased at the same time.
#late arrival (2009-02-01) The product arrived too late for it to be used as part of a christmas present so it was returned
#As simple as butane gas (2009-01-05) When one buys a butane gas can, one expects exactly it. And that s what it is. I use it to refill my kitchen torch (for crème brûlée) and candle lighter. Works perfectly.

Kitchen Craft Cook s Blowtorch with Chrome Fittings, Clam Packed

#rubbish (2009-06-03) I bought one and it broke down on the very first day. Totally unreliable and potentially dangerous as it started leaking gas.
#Good but... (2008-02-13) Okay but if you are left handed I would suggest looking elsewhere, as the ignition button is placed in a way that makes it difficult to use this left-handed. It would have been so simple for the designer to have placed it either at the front or back so that it could have been used with either hand.
#A Torch of Class (2007-03-14) All too often we hear people offer unjustified, exuberant praise for their kitchen gadgets. How many times have I heard fellow cooks tell me, I d be literally lost without my die cast tungsten lobster cracker? or exercising their shrimps in excitement over the latest rechargeable kiwi skinner? But here we have something which literally will blow you away. The perfect brulee has eluded so many of us for so long, but this little beauty will char your cap to perfection every time. You can even set it on a timer and leave the naked flame unattended, safe ...
#Blows your mind (2006-03-26) one of the best piezo trigger ignitions that has been in my kitchen for a long time.

#Kitchen Blowtorch (2009-02-01) A great little tool for doing Creme Brulee s toppings if you re in a hurry or for doing caramelised bananas. . It s refilled using a gas lighter refill which you can get from a supermarket & possibly here too.
#Excellent for those inspiring cooks (2009-01-29) Bought this for my husband as this was a recommend from Delia Smith s wrbsite. Not knowing whether it would be any better than the others on offer, I thought well, if Delia recommends it then it must be good. And she didnt disappoint. My husband did the best creme brule he s ever done. The flame was really hot and fierce but it could be directed to create the best caremelisation we ve ever achieved. Very recommended.
