#Dont Buy (2009-06-18) When I brought this I was 100% confident that I would be receiving a branded Cullinare Jar opener. When I got it, it was a generic un-branded unit, which was to my surprise incredibly scratched up and mark, even though it is in sealed packaging. Just be careful peeps!
#One Touch automatic jar opener (2009-06-17) This product was bought for my Father-in-Law who struggles opening jars etc. So far it has opened everything he has tried with it. Recommended
#The Grip (2009-06-01) This jar opener is a must for anyone who has problems with their grip. Just be ready for the pop when the lid comes off. I can highly recomend this product.
#Mum has arthritis and weak hands (2009-05-24) I bought this for my mum to use, as she has arthritis in her hands and she can never open bottles or jars. As a jar opener, we have tried many alternatives over the years with little success. This one actually works! Does exactly what it says on the tin. You put it on the top of the jar and press the button briefly. Wait a few seconds and the jar pops open. Perfect! Brilliant product, thoroughly recommended. Very easy to use, requires no strength in your hands or arms at all, it does *all* the work.
#jar opener (2009-05-18) Bought this for a disabled friend. She had problems with it and it broke. Not the easiest opener to use with arthritic hands. Cannot fault the help I received from Amazon who sent me another without a quibble.

#Kenwood can opener (2009-05-29) It does exactly what it says on the tin. A competent can opener . . . a knife sharpener that sharpens ( ok not the best you will ever see but ok) and the bottle opener works ok as well. The best bit of all that as its chrome it looks good in the kitchen
#Thank goodness for electric appliances!!!!!! (2009-05-23) Incredibly Great item - now I can stop moaning about the manual can opener which was awkward, gunged up, took paper off the can, and hurt my hand to use. Thank you Kenwood. Having read other reviews may I suggest a few things:-1. Turn the opener side on as I found this the easier way to see the guide bar and align the cans under the magnet. 2. For those who complain about the chrome being plastic (so is the white version). The chrome with black background still looks great!!!3. Easy to use and clean - no more gunging!!...
#Kenwood CO606 Tin Opener (2009-04-21) Very efficient at opening tins, easy to clean and comes with a knife sharpener using grinding stones on the back. An excellent added bonus.
#Kenwood CO606 - So easy to use (2009-04-17) I have seen reviews sometimes stating this can be difficult to use but I have never had a problem with it. This is my second in fact as I used the other for many years and eventually wore it out although it still works but with a bit of noise. This machine even opens Frey Bentos pie tins with a little support of the tin. Most cans it opens without human intervention bar offering it up to the cutter. Once latched the tin is opened and safely attached to the machine until you choose to remove it. The magnetic lid holder will work most of t...
#Kenwood Can opener (2009-04-12) Great item. A little shiny but works well and fits in better than a plastic one

With its large, easy-to-operate turning-mechanism, this can opener does its job with minimal effort on your part. The nonslip, oversize handles fit the hand comfortably, absorbing the tension of keeping the can opener in place while the stainless-steel teeth bite into the lid with the ease of a great white shark. The built-in bottle opener, sturdy construction, and ease of use make the Good Grips can opener one of the best on the market.

#best can opener ever (2009-06-01) This can opener is so easy it simply glides round the can much better than the battery one I had previously. So easy to turn, the comfortable handle must be great for people with arthritis. Really pleased.
#Easy can opener (2009-05-21) Definitely the best I ve had ever. Smooth easy action and OK for me with my mild carpal tunnel syndrome. Hope it will last well.
#Excellent buy (2009-02-18) This works really well! It is sturdy, nice to hold, has a large knob to grip and turn, and works smoothly with minimum effort. I find that it makes light work of opening tins compared to other openers I ve had and would definitely recommend it. We are a family of five and I cook a lot, something reliable like this is a necessity.
#Best domestic can opener. (2009-02-12) Have had this can opener for years, best can opener I have ever had. Ordering 2 today for my restaurant, the oxo one is so much better, and easier to use than my commercial Bonza one. Well done Oxo good grips.
#good for lefties (2009-01-10) I m left handed and this can opener is the business. Can be used by righties too and is damn good quality. Very little effort needed to turn the ?handle - not sure if that is what it is called!!!- cleans easily and is very comfortable to the paw. Would recommend -worth the money.

#CAN OPENER (2009-05-02) I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THIS ITEM, THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT YOU HAVE TO HOLD THE CAN JUST SO OR IT DOESN T OPEN IT PROPERLY SO IT CAN BE A BIT FIDDLY SOMETIMES BUT OTHERWISE OKAY
#Russell Hobbs 1448 Can Opener (2009-04-15) Good product, does the job well, leaving no sharp edges. As I like to wash and recycle cans, I was particularly looking for a can opener that didn t leave sharp edges. It s easy to operate this can opener and it holds the can whilst opening it, leaving hands free and the magnet holds the lid when you remove the opened can. All in all a good product at a very good price and no batteries required!
#DO NOT BUY THIS (2009-04-02) After having a kenwood electric opener for many years, it had seen better days so I thought I would replace it with this unit as the price seemed very fair. Unfortunately it is a piece of rubbish, it is hard to find the correct place to situate the cans & when (in my experience) you have, it does not open many cans, just makes a noise like the can is too tough for it. It was far faster to use the manual opener in the end. I would NOT recommend this to anyone
#Arthritus and mechanical can opener (2009-03-09) This product works well when you get the can in the right place but the problem is finding the right place but for the price you cant complain. And i love the way the lid stays on the magnet.
#Good value for Russell Hobbs 14448 Can opener (2009-03-01) In my experience quite a good can opener once you master the knack of positioning the can and not over tilting the handle. Cannot comment on the knife sharpening as this is something I have yet to try.

#Excellent (2009-05-29) This was purchased for my wife who suffers with arthritis. She has found it to be exactly as described simple and easy to use with no problems at all.
#Instructions could be better (2009-05-11) Russell Hobbs 13890 Electric Can opener in whiteDoes an excellent job but is extremely fiddly to use, especially the first few time. The instructions could be a whole lot clearer. Probably the person who wrote them knows what he/she means, but they are definitely not as clear as they could be.
#A must for the home (2009-02-03) After a long and great struggle with hand held openers this electric opener is the answer. My wife no longer calls me to open the cans she just plugs the appliance in and bingo the jobs done. Excellent purchase and recommend.
