#Handy little gadget (2009-03-24) This is a handy little thermometer. I bought it for a special flour treatment that requires me to heat flour in a microwave until it reaches a particular temperature. My only complaint about the thermometer is that it does take a while to read the temperature and increases quite slowly until it reaches the actual temperature. I wish that it worked a little faster as it gets a little tedious waiting for the digital face to finally reach the temperature.

A practical solution to ensuring red and white wines are served at the correct temperature.

#perfect wine (2009-04-28) both the wine covers work very well and my wine is now at better temperatures for drinking
#Excellent but beware of overheating (the warmer, not the wine) (2009-04-02) Great value for money, much cheaper and easier than the electronic wine warmers. These work really well and warm or cool your wine quickly and easily. BEWARE of boiling the Therm au Rouge for longer than the specified time though. We accidentally overboiled ours (for about half an hour instead of 10 minutes - yes I know, stupid) and the insides crystallised completely, making the Therm au Rouge useless and there was no saving it. About to buy another one!So if you actually follow the instructions (set your...
#I love this! (2005-12-20) I use this all the time when I drink wine. The bag just slips onto the bottle, and with the wine warmer, it heats up within seconds, and the wine is ready within minutes. I love this device, and it',s makes red wine taste wonderful

Many people are surprised how much different (and usually better) a wine can taste at a tasting, than when they open the bottle at home. Most times, it s because the wine merchant goes to lengths to serve wine at the perfect temperature.Sparkling wines are best at around 5?C, whereas dry whites are better at around 9?C. White wines tend to have higher residual sugar content and are usually served chilled to counteract the sweetness, so that the other more delicate flavours aren t swamped by it.Reds, which are usually dry, need a warmer temperature to release the lovely bouquet and flavours that have developed during their storage. So a full bloodied Spanish red or Burgundy is best served at around 15?C and a lighter claret at 22?C. Our Wine Bottle Thermometer will ensure your wine is at the perfect drinking temperature, every time. The bracelet style thermometer is simply snapped onto the bottle and the figures on the crystal display illuminate the bottle temperature. The perfect drinki...
