#Works Well (2009-05-25) I ve used this timer for about a week now and it seems to work very well. I only really need it for watering the greenhouse and veg patch while I m away and, by using a hose Y junction and a couple of sprinklers, it does the job well. If you want more complex timing options then you will have to go for the next model up but this one is fine for my needs.

#Value for money (2009-06-26) Well, I was a right numpty and was trying to screw off the funnel part so for ages I thought it was rubbish. But then I read the instructions *cough* and realised that just the plunger handle turns. Whoops!Anyway, I filled it, I plunged it and it works fine. You can t adjust the spray, although it does come with a double-headed attachment which sprays left and right. And an assortment of rubbery washersy thingies. All in all, a good buy for the money but I see what people mean about the lance being a little on the short side.

#Silverline 5L garden sprayer (2009-04-23) This sprayer works fine, doing the job I bought it for. It cost little more than the spare part I needed to repair my old (ancient!) Hozelock sprayer, so represents good value. The quality of finish is not quite up to the Hozelock sprayer and the plastics used are obviously a bit cheaper, but it seems to be durable enough.

#Design and performance (2009-06-24) A solid inexpensive pruner with a double extending pole for easy storage. It performs well on woody subjects but as it has a bypass blade it is not really suitable or probably designed for soft green growth which readily becomes trapped behind the blade.
