#Solid, heavy and hard wearing (2003-05-15) I bought one of these several months ago. They re much heavier that they look. I should know, I carried round Manchester from the cookshop to the car!Since then it s been used for all kind of different things, stews, chilli, even Mulled Wine. It cleans up really easily, hand washed or through the dishwasher, and still looks brand new. Yes, it is quite expensive, but you really do get what you pay for - decent quality & hard wearing. I expect this will still look just as new in several years time.

#Love it (2009-04-17) It was through the regular emails from Amazon that I checked out the links to my purchase. I have been wanted to buy a Le Creuset for sometime but cost had prohibited me. The cost from Amazon was quite reasonable so I went for it and am delighted with the quality and what a difference it makes to what I thought was already my perfect casserole, the food is cooked to perfection.

#So good (2009-03-30) I cannot praise this too highly. From stove to oven to table -= and even on table it looks good. Almost makes up for my deficiencies as a chef!Slight discolouring on the inside after cooking a very rich beef casserole which involved reducing a bottle of red wine by about half, but nothing to worry about. I ve not the slightest doubt that this is something to hand down to my daughter

#Round casserole dish - large and fabulous (2009-02-05) This casserole dish is fabulous though I only use it for dinner parties as very large. Great thing about this when cooking for guests can prepare in advance and leave it in oven when entertaining. Works great to cook on top and then put in oven for further cooking or to keep warm. Too big for day to day cooking.

#Quality product. (2009-05-10) You can t fault Le Creuset really. This has joined several other (ancient but well kept) pieces that we have inherited over the years. The expense is justified.

#A great casserole dish (2009-02-04) I collect this range and use this casserole dish loads. It is very easy to clean and I haven t even burnt it yet!!!

#Doesn t fit a sausage (2008-10-21) Well perhaps thats a slight exaggeration, you might get 2 in there! Trust me if you are cooking for more than 1 person you need a bigger casserole dish. I got utterly fed up trying to cram my ingredients in and fit the lid on!! In the end I admitted defeat and bought the 26cm one. A good buy if you are cooking for a family of Lilliputians.
