#Very good but noisy (2009-04-13) I bought this item to try and combat the smell of cat litter trays. I have to agree it does exactly that. I hardly notice the smell now, unless the cat has left a paticularly noxious present for us, in which case you can quickly get rid of it by pressing the button. My only negative about the litter tray is the noise of the motor. It is particularly noisy and can drive you to distraction sometimes if it has hit a big clump and is struggling to shift it. #Littermaid LME9000 (2009-03-13) After many years of a conventional cat box and different types of litter products, I have recently purchased the Littermaid LME9000 am fairly pleased with the product. It was fairly straightforward to assemble although you have to make sure that the plastic waste receptacle is secure between the two lips of the main box. #Very useful (2009-01-13) I used to own the smaller model of this product but then I got two cats which meant I was having to change the waste box every couple of days and top up the litter more frequently. I purchased this product when I saw that it was suitable for multi cat households and it works really well. Both cats are happy to use it because it is always kept clean and like the smaller model, the smells are drasticaly reduced!

#Fantastic (2009-03-05) Great piece of equipment. Don t expect it to do absolutely all the work for you, but it does make the process much easier. The raking works most of the time, and even when it doesn t get absolutely everything it s great having a self contained box there to dump the hand-scooped clumps into. If you don t expect miracles then you ll be thrilled.

But as soon as I got it home and my cat started using it I was really impressed at how well it worked. For me it s not just the fact that it automaticaly cleans but also the fact that it really reduces that awful smell that you get with normal litter trays.
