(2009-02-10) I bought this sieve based on the positive review above by Ian Thomas, and I can only reiterate everything he says, add to the praise and write assuringly of the quality of this product. This is a very pleasing, very nicely designed, substantial and expensive-looking sieve, and although it did cost more than I was expecting to spend (I don t enjoy cooking at all, or spending on it, but hey, I still need a sieve!) it s definitely worth the price and really looks like it ll endure many years of sieving to come- better than I will! Great product.

#Very nice sieve! (2008-09-04) I guess there s not too much difference between one sieve and another in terms of how well it sieves things! However, this sieve seems to be of a much higher standard than my other sieves. Most sieves are just tinned metal so they stain/discolour very quickly and eventually start to rust. This sieve is made from stainless steel and is even dishwasher proof so I d expect it to give many years of service and stay in good condition much longer.
