#good or bad (2009-07-02) Third time lucky. Other two alternatives (not this model) were useless, both were damaged in one way or another, NOT the fault of the postal service. Can opener - automaticOne Touch Automatic Can OpenerOne Touch Automatic Can Opener
#Does what it says on the tin (2009-06-30) Bought this for my mother. She thinks it s great. It s easy to use and effortlessly opens tins with one touch of the button. Not had item long so may wear out or have problems with batteries later, but for now it does exactly what it is designed to do. 5 stars for now.
#Fantastic Item (2009-06-29) I purchased this item as I had problems opening tins with an ordinary opener. This is the best product I have ever bought and works well every time.
#Does what it says on the tin (2009-06-27) [This review refers to the version that uses AA batteries, not the rechargeable version. ]This product--to steal a phrase from the Ronseal advert--does what it says on the tin, quickly and reliably, and is a godsend to those with arthritic fingers. We have given a number of these little gadgets to elderly friends and have been using ours without trouble for a couple of years. It may also give you the giggles: as it nears completion of its work its whine increases in pitch and it wobbles its tail excitedly, for all the world like an over-enthu...
#Dont buy. Seems good. Isnt (2009-06-27) Great when its working. When batteries die without warning Item is stuck on can and it takes ages to get it off. Poor design. If battery compartment had been put on the top then the could be replaced in situ. Do not buy. You will regret it when this hapens to you. Trust me

With its large, easy-to-operate turning-mechanism, this can opener does its job with minimal effort on your part. The nonslip, oversize handles fit the hand comfortably, absorbing the tension of keeping the can opener in place while the stainless-steel teeth bite into the lid with the ease of a great white shark. The built-in bottle opener, sturdy construction, and ease of use make the Good Grips can opener one of the best on the market.

#best can opener ever (2009-06-01) This can opener is so easy it simply glides round the can much better than the battery one I had previously. So easy to turn, the comfortable handle must be great for people with arthritis. Really pleased.
#Easy can opener (2009-05-21) Definitely the best I ve had ever. Smooth easy action and OK for me with my mild carpal tunnel syndrome. Hope it will last well.
#Excellent buy (2009-02-18) This works really well! It is sturdy, nice to hold, has a large knob to grip and turn, and works smoothly with minimum effort. I find that it makes light work of opening tins compared to other openers I ve had and would definitely recommend it. We are a family of five and I cook a lot, something reliable like this is a necessity.
#Best domestic can opener. (2009-02-12) Have had this can opener for years, best can opener I have ever had. Ordering 2 today for my restaurant, the oxo one is so much better, and easier to use than my commercial Bonza one. Well done Oxo good grips.
#good for lefties (2009-01-10) I m left handed and this can opener is the business. Can be used by righties too and is damn good quality. Very little effort needed to turn the ?handle - not sure if that is what it is called!!!- cleans easily and is very comfortable to the paw. Would recommend -worth the money.

Kitchen Craft Lever Arm Can Crusher, Sleeved

#Hardly heavy duty! (2009-05-28) I can t think why this is described as heavy duty - it only lasted two days and the handles bent out of shape. Completely unusable and a waste of money. I expected a heavy duty one to be able to crush cans better than me stamping on them. Drink cans were not a problem, but I can crush them quicker and easier by stamping on them. Food cans were stronger than the crusher even with giving it a helping hand and denting the cans beforehand.
#can crusher (2009-05-12) Excellent device for the older customer or for someone with a disability. Makes recycling safer and more compact.
#robust can crusher (2009-04-17) The best can crusher we have bought. This is our 3rd can crusher the other two we had broke very quickly they were from another supplier.
#can crusher (2009-03-21) A good product, easy to install and use. Crushes cans with little effort on your part.
#Heavy duty can crusher (2009-03-17) I was a little nervous about ordering this item because of the reviews but I wanted to reduce the bulk that cans can create so that they could be collected for recycling. I have used this item for crushing lightweight lager cans on a daily basis since 29th January 2009 (6 weeks) and find it an excellent device. You do need to attach it to a strong surface though. I do not think the handle is flimsy as previously suggested.

#well made reliable product (2009-06-08) I purchased this because I have had elbow surgery, so I find can openers tricky. It works very simply by locking onto the can as you gently press down. Then no pressure is needed whilst you turn. You then push a button to release the pressure. Good for anyone who struggles with can openers, including my 9 year old who likes to cook, but wouldn t have the grip strength for a conventional can opener. Worth the extra money to me. My Mum has purchased one for a relative with Parkinson s on my recommendation, she is also very pleased with ...
#best ever (2009-05-31) this is a superb can opener. As someone who suffers with both rheumatoid and osteo arthritis,I have found most can openers I have purchased very difficult to use,This one is like putting a warm knife through butter,so very easy to use,no stress or strains on joints at all. Highly reccomended.
#Well designed product (2009-04-26) This has been designed well and produced to a high standard. It works seemlessly and is about as good as a can opener can be. . . . . they either work or they don t and this one is great. Only time will tell if it lasts.
#Best so far (2009-03-09) Secure grip, lock button works well holding can saving wrist strain!! smooth and easy operation
#A pleasure (2009-02-25) Having previously only ever used a classic, painful, metal can opener I don t have a great deal to compare this too. Though in comparison to what I ve used before it is simply worlds apart. First it clamps on (Snap-Lock) to the can with one satisfying squeeze of the handles. Then simply turn the ergonomic winder with a lot less pressure than is required with the traditional openers I ve used before. I would definitely recommend as a good quality upgrade to a traditional can opener.

#BRILLIANT product (2009-04-28) What an absolutely brilliant product. Keep wanting to open cans just to use it!!! Very smooth easy action and comfortably grip. Feels, looks and is extremely well made. Have used many openers before but nothing comes close to this one!
#Rolls Royce of Can Spanners (2009-02-11) Brilliant - very very pleased. In operation it is lovely and smooth almost effortless. It also feels reassuringly solid and substantial and is aesthetically pleasing too. Delighted!
